Start from the beginning

“You like my hard ass,” snaps Spencer. This makes Rylee shake her head, she catches Spencer’s gaze and she winks at her.

“Oh god, please no flirting,” grumbles Jo.“How do we wake her?”

Rylee pulls free of Spencer’s comforting grasp. She kneels on the opposite side of the bed that Jo sits on.She tentatively reaches out, fingers ready to touch Quinn. The fear in her eyes is evident as she steels herself for the pain; she feels Spencer’s hand on her shoulders ready to power the vision. She touches her and a mirage of images batter her.

She can’t project them like before, but they all play out in her mind in an instant, she shoves back and into Spencer’s arms again.“She killed Nat’s alter.”

“Nat has an alter?” asks Amy.“I thought you said there was no Natalie Summers?”

“Had,” says Rylee, shaking hard.“But she was bad.”She pauses and struggles to move around the vision.“Her name was Natasha.I mean, bad to the core, she sent someone named Keziah here? Isn’t he an eternal?”

Amy gasps.Jo meets her gaze.“Our scent?” asks Jo.

“Son of a bitch,” says Amy.“He’s not this Keziah, he’s – he’s from the other side.Oh man, how do we track him?”

“We don’t,” says Jo.“She does. That’s why she’s here, to hunt him. That’s what Quinn does, she’s a hunter.I should say she is the hunter.”

The sun begins to come up in California, and Amy, Dylan, Tegan, Jo, Spencer, Rylee, Sydney, Emma and Mario wait for Quinn to wake.Spencer has moved the massive amounts of wreckage in the living room, with Amy’s help. The holes aren’t patched, and they’ll have to simply get a few more carpenters out to the beach house to fix the hole before it rains.Jo refuses to call Darci, explaining that Darci may not be able to heal Quinn since she’s from the other reality. She also wants to keep the other eternals from finding out about what is going on, since Quinn might well have more information about what is going on.

Mario gathers food and starts to cook breakfast.Emma lends a hand their own morning rituals taking over, a comfort in the chaos. They say nothing, but Emma repeatedly touches the butt of her Glock on her hip.“You going to shoot Quinn if she’s some nasty version of herself?” whispers Mario as he finds the butter in the fridge.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do.I do need the information she has. She’s obviously here for Keziah, I want the story.”

“Then you kill her?” asks Spencer having heard the conversation and she moves from the hallway towards Emma.“You’ll go down first, I promise.”

“Hey!” snaps Rylee from behind her.“That’s my mom you’re talking too.”

“I don’t care. That’s my grandmother, she’s not evil. She’s not Susan and don’t forget that,” says Spencer.“She’s good.Don’t go all rogue on me, or I’ll go all rogue on you.And I’m pretty sure that mine is bigger than yours.”

Rylee grabs at Spencer’s arm but she shakes her hand off.A glow of energy shimmers around Spencer.Rylee realizes she’s powering up.

“I’m not going to do anything,” says Emma in a calm tone. She catches Rylee’s gaze and realizes that she will do something.Oh, great.

“No, you’re not going to.I can take you out and heal you when I want,” says Spencer nonchalantly.“One more Scott with blue handprints is fine with me.Don’t shoot her, don’t hurt her and you’ll be fine.”
