You figured she wouldn't notice. You thought maybe eventually she'd become so busy that she wouldn't see you distancing yourself from her, but she did.

She noticed how you began to struggle to get out of bed in the morning or to find the motivation to get dressed. She was aware of your anxiety and depression. She knew you had days that were worse than others, but you had made so much progress lately, and the thought of it getting worse and you being in so much pain again broke her heart.

She told you the day before that she would be spending the day in the studio but she saw the dark circles under your eyes, you hadn't been sleeping.

She couldn't tell if you knew that she knew. She wasn't sure what to do, so she decided to cancel the studio session that day and instead see if you would tell her what was going on.

She went down to make you some breakfast and hoped that it would bring a smile to your face, something you hadn't done in a while, and she missed it so much.

She was surprised to see you sitting up in bed when she came back upstairs with a plate of your favorite breakfast foods in hand, that was the most you had moved in a while.

"Hey, beautiful. I made you breakfast."

She set the plate of food down on your nightstand before kneeling in front of you. You looked exhausted, she could tell you weren't feeling like yourself.

"I'm not hungry."

She sighed and ran one of her hands through your hair, hoping it would comfort you but instead you just moved away.

She tried to fight the tears. It hurt her to see you turn away from her. All she wanted was to hold you in her arms and kiss you and tell you that everything would be okay, but she couldn't tell you that and she couldn't do that because you kept pushing her away.

So she decided to take matters into her own hands. She crawled back in bed and sat by you, her hand resting on your thigh, which you once again pushed away.

"Y/N? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine Taylor."

She sighed and carefully placed her hand back on your thigh, to her surprise you didn't push it away. So she began to rub your thigh comfortingly, she searched your tired eyes for a sign of any emotion, but nothing.

"Honey, we both know you're not fine. What's going on? You can tell me."

She heard you take a deep breath, your eyes meeting hers for the first time in days. You couldn't help but notice that they were full of concern, she was worried about you, and you couldn't fight your emotions any longer.

The first tear fell and many followed. You weren't sure what you expected to happen next but you felt your body relax for the first time in a while when you felt her pull you closer to her, her hands rubbing your back as you buried your face in her soft hoodie.

"Tell me what's wrong. I'm right here baby. I've got you."

"It's getting bad again Tay."

She sighed sadly but held it together, for you.

"Okay. It's okay. Is there something, in particular, bothering you?"

You shook your head and continued to cry, her hoodie now soaked with your tears, but she didn't care.

"Just everything?"

You nodded your head and a couple soft kisses were placed on your forehead, the feeling of her soft lips on your skin making you relax even more.

"That's alright baby. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't wanna bother you with my problems-"

"you never bother me and I want you to tell me okay? I wanna help you. We'll get through this okay? We always do baby. I'll be right here the whole time, every step of the way."

You continued to cry for a while, Taylor laying down on the bed and pulling you down with her. It didn't take long until she looked back down at you to find you sleeping, the first sleep you've had in days.

She couldn't help but smile when she noticed that you looked so peaceful. That's what you deserved to feel all the time.

She watched you sleep for a while, her hands softly rubbing your back with your ear against her chest to listen to her heartbeat. She wasn't going anywhere. She promised you that and she meant it.
