You woke up to find Taylor's side of the bed empty, the sheets were cold against your hot and sticky skin.

The sun was shining through the curtains and you could hear Taylor faintly playing the guitar in the other room.

You tried to get up only to be greeted with your head pounding. You tried to stand up still but sat right back down when you realized just how dizzy you were. The room was spinning, a cold chill taking over your body.

Just perfect, of course, you were sick when you had a few days off.

You took a deep breath and stood up, grabbing the wall to balance yourself as you walked down the hallway to find Taylor.

You heard her soft voice and the strumming of her favorite guitar, your heart racing, and your sock-covered feet going down the hall till you finally reached the room she was in.

She looked up at you continuing to strum the string on the guitar before a look of concern washed over her face.

She stood up and sat the guitar down before walking over to you, her hands going to rest on your arms.

"Y/N are you alright? You look really pale."

"I'm okay I just don't feel that great."

"Well c'mon baby, let's get you back to bed."

You whined and walked back to the bedroom with Taylor following behind you.

She couldn't help but notice how you were swaying slightly from side to side. She felt her heart pounding in her chest at the thought of you being ill.

Once you finally reached the bedroom you instantly crawled back under the blankets and let a small whine escape from your lips.

Taylor sat down next to you and placed the back of her hand on your forehead. She knew immediately that you had a fever and she couldn't help but worry about you.

"You've got a fever for sure. Do you feel nauseous or anything y/n?"

You shook your head and closed your eyes unable to keep them open anymore.

"I feel dizzy though when I stand up and my head hurts."

Taylor sighed and nodded her head about to go downstairs to get you some cold water and pills to take your fever down when you grabbed her hand to pull her back.

"Y/N what's wrong?"

"Don't go, Tay."

She giggled and kissed your warm forehead before removing your hand from her arm.

"I'm just gonna go get you some cold water and medicine, okay? I'll be right back."

"Please hurry."

She nodded her head before walking downstairs to get you what you needed.

You felt something soft crawl into your lap.

When you opened your eyes you were met with Meredith sitting in your lap while Olivia crawled onto the bed next to you. They cuddled up to you, both of them purring.

Taylor appeared in the doorway and smiled at the sight in front of her before walking towards you and giving you the medicine and water.

You took the pills and washed them down before laying your head back on the pillow, your hands going to pet the fluffy cats that were cuddling up to you.

Taylor pressed her lips against your cheek before stroking your hair and standing up to go back downstairs to give you space when she was stopped once again.

"Yes, babe?"

"Stay. Please?"

She smiled and walked over to her side of the bed, laying down next to you and pulling Olivia in her lap.

Meredith slowly climbed off of you and laid down in between you and Taylor, resting her head on her paws as her eyes closed, your heart melting at the sight.

"Taylor?"

"Yeah, honey?"

"I'm cold. Can you cuddle me?"

She smiled and moved closer to you, her arms going around your waist and her face buried in your neck.

"You should get some rest babe."

"No. I don't want you to leave."

"Who says I'm gonna leave, hm? C'mon darling get some rest, you'll probably feel a little better when you wake up."

"Nooo. I'm not tired."

"Come on y/n I know you're tired. Get some sleep. I'm not gonna go anywhere, I promise."

She kissed your neck softly, hoping she could coax you into it but she knew you were gonna be stubborn about it when she saw you shake your head.

"I don't wanna sleep. I wanna be with you."

You rolled over and buried your face in her shoulder.

Taylor tried to fight back a smile but failed. She couldn't help but find it adorable how stubborn and clingy you were being, something that always happened when you were sick.

"I don't feel good, Taylor."

"I know honey, I'm sorry you feel so sick."

She grabbed your hand in one of hers and kissed your knuckles softly, her lips traveling all-around your soft and warm skin.

You smiled against her shoulder when you felt her hands on your back, her nails softly digging into your skin to make it tingle as you sighed contentedly.

Your eyes fluttered shut, you couldn't help but melt right into her. She knew exactly how to soothe you and coax you into sleeping despite how stubborn and frustrated you may be.

Even though you tried to fight it, you couldn't. The feeling of sleep was creeping up on you and your eyelids felt so heavy, you couldn't fight against it.

A few minutes passed by and Taylor noticed you were finally sleeping. Your lips were parted and you were snoring lightly, something you did only when you were sick.

She smiled and kissed your head, hoping that when you woke up you'd feel better.
