Actually struggled with this one since literally here was what I was given. Neon next. That's it no other information and seeing as she is one of the characters that has gotten the least amount of screen time or development. It has troubled me to come up with a good story so if this isn't as good I apologize ahead of time.

Atlas academy, a school run by James Ironwood for hunters and huntresses to be. A school known only to be beaten by the glorious Beacon academy. I however never wanted to go to either of these schools let alone become a hunter but following family traditions states otherwise.

(Y/n): "Dad!!! I don't want to become a hunter I want to become a musician and travel around the world. Playing in concerts and donating to charity and you guys!" I said as he was packing my bags since I refused to.
Father: "BOY!!!" He shouted staring at me as I gladly returned the stare. He sighed before sitting down on my bed beside me. "Look I know you don't want to be a hunter. I've known that for as long I as you started developing an interest in music instead of training. But sometimes we have to let our dreams go to progress in life. And I know there are people out there that would state otherwise. But son you have to understand we aren't those people. Your mother and I have to work our fingers to the bone just to feed us all." He said as I looked away knowing he was telling the truth. Ever since I was able to take care of my three younger siblings my parents have been working to support us as best as they can. "Your mother and me have been saving up for years to send you to Atlas academy. And I know now you will probably hate us for sending you there but trust me." He said placing his hand on my shoulder as I looked at him seeing tears in his eyes. "I hope you can become a more successful hunter then we were able to. Ever since your younger brother you mother has been having trouble on her missions ultimately making her unable to continue being a huntress. And with the infrequency of jobs for me I had to give up as well... But you son... I believe you can go above what we hit. I know you can your a bright boy did great in school and wasn't afraid to stand up when you needed to. I know your just a hunter that hasn't realized his potential." He said as I sighed feeling tears in my eyes as well. I wiped them nodding with a small smile.
(Y/n): "A-Alright dad I will go. I will make everyone proud don't worry. I just... I need some time." I said as he nodded giving me a hug.
Dad: "I love you son. Your mother loves you. Your little brother and two little sisters love you as well. We all love you and know you will do everything you can." He said as I hugged him back.
(Y/n): "I love you all as well and give my dinner to yourself and mom I won't need it for a few days." I said as he looked at me then nodded leaving my room. I grabbed my headphones putting them on and plugging them into my scroll.

(Y/n): "Time to get to work." I said to myself as the music started blasting in my ears. I grabbed my guitar strumming a little picking up on the frequency as each chord. Then a certain chord made my ears ring as I tossed my headphones off as my ears continued ringing. I stared at my hands seeing them shaking as I smirked. "Good I found that nasty chord now to modify it..." I said heading down the stairs out of my room and out of the house into the garage with my guitar in hand. I walked past everyone as they were smiling and laughing despite the situation we lived in. And for us to keep living in the serene bliss. I needed to be ready as a hunter. So I closed the garage door and started tinkering with my guitar.

2 weeks later

I wiped the sweat off of my forehead lowering the blow torch turning it off as I stared at it. My guitar turned to deadly. I glanced back at the faunus we were hiding from some extremist that were after her. I smiled after lifting up the shield mask.

(Y/n): "What do you think? I have to be ready cause in a week Atlas academy is having its entrance ceremony."
Faunus: "It's amazing honestly. You spent so much time crafting it to become not just an instrument but a weapon that you can use. I think it's perfect for you." She said as I smiled looking away as my mom called us in for dinner. I told her to go ahead without me I needed to do some tests. It took me 5 minutes before I finished properly adjusting the calibrations for the sound wave and cylinder rounds. But I heard an ear piercing shriek and yelling. I turned around and saw the extremists white fang storming my house. I grabbed my guitar flipping a switch as it turned into a battle ax of ebony and crimson coloring with lavender glowing lights. I barged through the back door but froze as I heard several gun shots and screams. I froze as I ran up the steps to see them all in my room. I stared in disbelief as the white fang were lording over their corpses.I felt my eyes twitching in rage as tears trickled down my cheeks. I watched as they turned to me and then I felt all my rage explode through the room. That faunus we were protecting was with them the entire time.
