The Queen Puts the King In Check

Ay we have a double reference this time let's go!

(Y/n): "Alright I will move my king here... And checkmate." I said victoriously to Weiss as she stared at me enraged.
Weiss: "HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT?!?"
(Y/n): "When your entire life has been revolving around chess even your weapons and semblance you learn some stuff. Like how to out someone in their place about bragging their skills in chess." I said with a smug grin as she stared at me infuriated. I knew she had a huge crush on me and I loved teasing her about it. I just got up walking over to her wrapping my arms around her. I heard a small yelp before seeing her face burn bright red as I chuckled hugging her tighter. She slowly hugged back as I felt her head resting on my shoulder. I may enjoy teasing her about it but I also loved being with her.

Weiss: "I-I hate it w-when you d-do this s-stuff to me..."
(Y/n): "Oh yeah then why are you getting closer to me? And why are you testing your head on my shoulder. And why are you-"
Weiss: "Oh shut up you dolt stop saying those embarrassing things!"
(Y/n): "But you get so flustered and red its so cute." I said as she went even brighter red going silent as I smiled holding her closer.
Weiss: "Y-You think it's cute?"
(Y/n): "No it's adorable now I have to go." I said letting go of her as she refused to let go. I smiled stroking her hair as she hugged me tighter.
Weiss: "J-Just a little longer..." She mumbled out as I smiled hugging her again.
(Y/n): "One more minute then I have to leave." I said as she hugged me tighter.

Time skip 3 weeks later

(Y/n): "Promotion Rook!" I shouted raising my right hand up as a towershield connected to my arm as I slammed it down. I put my weight against it as bullets ricocheted off it. I slowly trudged towards the wave of white fang as they yelled curses at me. But I was blinded by livid rage. I finally found him the bastard that killed my family.

(Y/n): "I'm gonna kill him... I'm gonna kill him... IM GONNA FUCKING MURDER HIS ASS!!! PROMOTION KNIGHT!!!!" I screamed dropping the shield running towards the white fang with my lance. They were startled by my outburst and sudden increase in speed as I skewered several of them in a row. I kicked off their lifeless corpses as I saw the man I was hunting. He backed up cowering in fear as I made my way towards him. He grabbed a gun from one of the corpses firing it at me. But I just side stepped every shot cause of how shaky he was. I ran my lance through his shin as he cried in agony.

(Y/n): "Do you know who I am?"
General: "I...I don't..."
(Y/n): "Look closer you fucker. Think back to 13 years ago!" I said lifting my lance up slamming it down on his other shin.
General: "AGH!! I... I remember now... Your the little bastard of that family we raided. How are you alive?!?"
(Y/n): "Cause unless you surround the king you can't put him in check." I said pulling out a second lance preparing the final blow as he stared at me. I stabbed him through his skull as I stared at his twitching body before it went lifeless. I withdrew my lance from his cranium turning around pulling out my scroll covered in blood.

Ozpin: "(Y/n) I assume the mission was a success?"
(Y/n): "Yes sir extermination complete target taken down..."
Ozpin: "Alright come back and take a break this may have been a victory for us but it was bigger for you." He said as I agreed hanging up heading to the lz staring at the sky deep in thought.

Time skip 4 hours later

When I came back to Beacon I felt exhausted... It wasn't that hard to kill everyone it was more along the line that I killed those men without hesitation.

Weiss: "(Y/n)! Your back!" She shouted running up to me as I offered her a half hearted wave. "What's wrong? You usually tease me about how excited I am to see you..." She said disappointedly as I shrugged stroking her hair a little before walking past her and her team. I heard them questioning me in reference as 'Weiss's Boyfriend'. I would agree with this but not now... I was dealing with what life meant now that I got my vengeance. I headed up to the roof top laying down staring at the clouds.

Weiss: "(Y/n) what's wrong?" She said worried as I sighed still staring at the clouds.
(Y/n): "Weiss why did you come here? To Beacon I mean..."
Weiss: "I came here to prove that Schnee name was a name that could be worn with honor. What about you?"
(Y/n): "Murder and vengeance..."
Weiss: "...Care to explain?" She said softly sitting beside me as I looked at her face. She was very beautiful yet I felt so bad for her loving me.
(Y/n): "Short story time..." I said as she did something I kinda expected. She sat on her knees pulling me up a bit resting my head on her lap. I looked at her blushing as she smiled softly stroking my hair as I looked away getting embarrassed. "I-I... Watched my parents get murdered before my very eyes when I was but a small child not even 5... I burned the face of the man that took them away from me in my mind. I played chess for food when I wasn't finding clues. Only two years prior to this I was being taken care of by Ozpin as a legal guardian. He gave me info on my target I taught how to put someone in check using only the king... Now I murdered him and about 10 other people. And I have no clue what to do with my life now... Maybe just wander in transit as a merc for hire or something..." I finished looking up at her blushing as she was worried. I just shrugged returning my focus on the clouds. I did enjoy her company cause I did decide I loved her during my mission but I still felt sorry for her. She laid me down moving around as I sighed a little missing her touch. But immediately I went bright red as she laid ontop of me. I looked at her seeing her bright red as well.

Weiss: "I-I know what y-you can do with your l-life..."
(Y/n): "And what would that be?"
Weiss: "S-S-S-Stay here with m-m-m-me..." She stuttered out as I smiled holding her close.
(Y/n): "I wouldn't mind that... Weiss I love you..."
Weiss: "W-W-Why are y-y-y-you saying that f-f-for!?!" She stuttered out smiling and bright red. I knew she wouldn't stop this so I pulled her closer softly placing my lips on hers as she froze. Then I felt her melt into the kiss wrapping her arms around my neck pulling herself closer to me as I blushed. The queen finally put the king in check. And all it took was for her to make me admit my love for her.
