The Love of My Life

Weiss pov

Father: "No Weiss i know you just got out of Beacon but we need to talk. I have arranged a marriage for you."
Weiss: "...FATHER THIS ISNT THE OLD TIMES WHERE YOU DECIDE WHO I LOVE!!"
Father: "Weiss did you just raise your tone with me??" He said in his stern, terrifying tone. I slouched down looking away.
Weiss: "S-Sorry father..."
Father: "Much better. Now you will be marrying the son of a high end business. This is to ensure a great business agreement between us. I hope you understand this is for the good of the company."
Weiss: "Y-Yes father... May I leave now?"
Father: "Yes go on. Also... It's in three days so don't forget." He said dismissing me. I hurried out of his office and out of the house. I was almost in tears cause of him.

I ran into town wiping my eyes. I went into a quiet store and felt so worthless. The tears wouldn't stop and I was having trouble controlling myself.

???: "Excuse me miss are you ok?" A man behind me asked. I heard his voice and I felt the tears stop. My heart was pounding so fast. I felt my face heat up.
Weiss: "(Y-Y/n)?" I asked after turning around seeing his face. He nodded giving me a questioning look. Then I watched as his face changed from confusion to understanding. Immediately he wrapped his arms around me and held me. I felt my face go bright red as I hugged back resting my head on his chest. I had always dreamt of this since my childhood. And I still remember the day I laid eyes on him.

Flashback 12 years ago

Girl: "So Weiss have you heard of the new kid?"
Weiss: "New kid?"
Girl: "Yeah he was in my friends class. Apparently he isn't someone special. A lot of the guys in the school don't like him for some reason. Oh there he is!" She said pointing towards said boy. He had (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. She was right he wasn't anything special but. Something about him just caught my attention.

End flashback

And from that day onward I was in love with him. And the next day I was his first friend. I looked up at him seeing his red face. I smiled before leaning up and pressing my lips against his. I closed my eyes savoring this embrace as he did nothing. It was a few moments before I pulled away looking up at him.

Weiss: "I love you (Y/n). I have been in love with you since that day you came to my school. I never went a day without thinking about you. Even when you left I never saw anyone in the same way as I saw you."
(Y/n): "I-I... Uh I don't know what you say... I'm sorry Weiss but you need to wait a few days for me to process everything..."
Weiss: "I wish I could... I really do but I can't. I know this is weird but... Im getting married in three days. But it's forced please... I want to be with you not anyone else." I said looking at him pleading hoping he would agree. But he just was silent and hugged me tighter. Then he said the words I never wanted to hear.
(Y/n): "I hope you have a good life with your husband."
Weiss: "...you idiot... I love you I don't want anyone else but you. Why don't you understand???"
(Y/n): "Cause I need to think everything over." He said and let me go. I watched as he waved good bye and left the store. I wanted to cry but all I could do was touch my lips and smile. Cause I still remembered the softness and warmth of my lips on his.

Time skip 3 days in the dressing room

I looked in the mirror at my team and Winter. They just kept complimenting me on how I looked. But I just tuned everything out. I was still hurting on how I got rejected by the man I fell for. Everything was tuned out except for...

Ruby: "Weiss he doesn't deserve you at all."
Yang: "Yeah if he hurt you we can hurt him."
Winter: "I already plan on hunting him down for hurting her."
Blake: "I understand him but I dont like what he did."

They each went on to critique the man I love infront of me. I just had to hold in my tears as j was walked to the altar with Blake beside me. I didn't think about anything other then (Y/n). Then I heard it.

Priest: "And do you Weiss Schnee take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
Weiss: "....I do..."
Priest: "If anyone objects please speak now or fo-"
(Y/n): "I OBJECT!!!" He shouted bursting through the door as everyone stared at him shocked. I was beyond happy seeing him like this. He was even wearing a tuxedo and was handsome.

Eric: "Who is this simpleton?"
(Y/n): "I'm the one she is marrying and I will fight you for her! Name the challenge and I will win her!"
Eric: "You simpleton I won't put my family at risk."
Weiss: "...my man should be able to win anything for me..."
Eric: "...fine if you want. Bring the ceremonial bows..."
Weiss: "B-Bows?" I asked as he nodded. I gulped in fear as two men brought in two bows. I remembered (Y/n) was a lousy shot and weak. He barely was able to hold his own. 'Why... Why did he not have a challenge for Eric? Why i love him even more to see him like this. But I dont want others to see him fail.' I thought to myself as they exited the chapel.

Everyone hurried out in pursuit of them. I lifted my dress and ran ahead worried for (Y/n). He didn't visit me once these three days then just comes and crash's my wedding. I'm even more inlove with him. They were handed bows but something was off. One of the bows was too perfected the the other was barely in condition.

Weiss: "ERIC GIVE HIM A BETTER BOW!!"
Eric: "No Weiss those are the only two bows I'm using yours and he is using mine. The man must be able to fire this bow if he wishes to be Wed to the heiress of Schnee Dust Company." He said as I nearly vomited. But the thing was (Y/n) wasn't even worried.

Eric: "The winner is the man to fire the farthest. Is that okay you peasant?"
(Y/n): "Fine whatever helps you sleep at night you troll." He said as everyone gasped. I was in shock he was never like this before. He also wasn't this confident. They both took aim knocking an arrow in place. I held my breath hoping for the best they both fired or it seemed like that. But only Eric had fired and (Y/n) didn't. We watched as Eric's arrow sailed through the sky it kept going till it hit a tree about 96 feet away. We all clapped together... Well I was more of a reluctant clap.

Then we watched as (Y/n) took aim. He was about to release until a strong wind started blowing across the yard. It was hitting us in the face so I knew it would be harder to hit. But he didn't stop he let it rip. And it soared faster and harder then Eric's. It was about to hit the tree before spearing right through it. We all were silent as the tree fell with a deafening thud and a ker-chunk into the side of a building. No one said a thing but the sounds of feet shuffling were heard behind us. I turned to look at them to see everyone from Eric's side and mine but Winter and my friends left.

I felt so happy but also hurt. I was left at the altar. Me! But I watched as (Y/n) approached me fishing something out of his pocket. I watched with excitement as he pulled out a small box opening it. My eyes shone as he revealed a diamond ring. I took it and said yes immediately pulling him back into the chapel with the only few people that stayed with me. The priest just looked at us and shrugged saying everything he said before. I was just so happy now I was with the love of my life. The man who captivated me the moment our eyes connected.

Priest: "Do you Weiss Schnee take (f/n) (l/n) to be your lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold. In sickness and health till death do you part?"
Weiss: "I do
Priest: "And do you (f/n) (l/n) take Weiss Schnee to be your lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold. In sickness and health till death do you part?"
(Y/n): "I do."
Priest: "And I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." He said as we looked at each other. We smiled and leaned together locking lips together holding each other.
