A Frozen Flower in Bloom

Ryntal: "Chosen hero. We are in need of your powers once again."
(Y/n): "Yes my liege. Whatever tho requests this humble knight shall champion to victory."
Ryntal: "Then I need you to- to- to-"  He started stuttering before everything went a deep blue. Then it went black as my eyes opened up to see my childhood friend sitting on top of me her snow white hair up in a long pony tail. I saw she was swinging the plug to my vr helmet with a satisfied smirk.

Weiss: "Heh hey geek hows thy king?"
(Y/n): "Damnitt Weiss! I haven't saved all day and now all my progress is gone!"
Weiss: "Oh don't be such a sour puss come outside and hang with us." She said offering me a sad look. I couldn't resist her not when I was head over heels for her. I just sighed looking away quickly to hide the growing blush letting out s small yes. I heard her giggle giving me a hug as I felt my face heating up from just her hug. Quickly I scrambled to escape the embrace before she figured out my feelings for her.

Weiss: "So be at outside in 5 or I am comng back in and taking this with me." She said eyeing my vr helmet as I held it close to my chest.
(Y/n): "You wouldn't take my baby would you!?!?!?!?"
Weiss: "Aww so this piece of metal replaced yhur girlfriend?" She said as I froze before looking down at the piece of scrap I was holding so close. I told everyone I had a girlfriend so they would stop setting me up with people I didn't want to be with. I only wanted Weiss but she had Neptune already. Truthfully I don't care for this hunk of metal for I only use it for a coping mechanism for the day Weiss rejected my advance.

Flashback 2 years ago

I clutched the bouquet of white roses in my hand. I was an absolute nervous wreck but I had the support of everyone. From Ruby, Yang, Blake to even her own brother and sister. I knew I could do this.

(Y/n): "No... I don't know if I can do this... But if I don't do this now I might not ever do it... I told her today after classes during lunch behind the school... I have Jaune to hold onto the flowers and the others for support." I said to myself looking in the mirror trying to get myself prepared for her to say yes. But slowly thoughts crept into my head. "What if she likes someone else... What if I am not good enough... What... WHat if she laughs..." I said quietly looking down on the verge of crying.
Weiss: "Are you even up yet?!?" She shouted barging into my room as I screamed like a girl jumping back dropping the flowers.
(Y/n): "DON'T FUCKING DO THAT!!!!!"
Weiss: "Cranky much? Who are the flowers for?" She said walking in and picking them up. I quickly tried to take them away from her but was unable as she read the tag on them. "To Weiss from (Y/n)... Awwwww this is so cute. Is this what you wanted to give me during lunch?" She said as I was speechless only offering a slight nod as she smiled sniffing the flowers. "Anything else?"
(Y/n): "Y-Yes... I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend... I mean we have been friends for so long I was hopi-"
Weiss: "Neptune asked me out before I came to check up on you..." She said as I stared at her as my world just shattered and I fell into an abyss.

Present day

When I realized I had drifted off into that horrible memory I looked around to see I was at the park with everyone. I didn't see Neptune around anywhere and for a second I was about to approach Weiss about then but stopped as out of nowhere I was pushed to the ground from behind. I banged my head on the concrete as I watched Neptune walk past me. I held the back of my head glaring up at him as he smirked with the On the ground like the worm you are eyes. I just looked away to avoid confrontation as I guess Weiss saw me sitting on the ground. She rushed right past Neptune and crouched down checking my head.

Weiss: "You klutz how did this happen?" She said in her worried over protective way causing me to sigh in relief. She might not be mine but at least I can say she cares the most about me. But this satisfaction of triumph over Neptune was quickly ruined as I was yanked up roughly by Neptune. Our eyes met and the sheer hate we felt for each other was evidently clear to all but Weiss. I can only assume she ignored it as just boy things.
(Y/n): "Well I uh tripped I guess heh..."
Neptune: "Yeah dork tripping over those two left feet and being a anti-social idi-" He said before being swiftly elbowed in the stomach by Weiss who was giving him the death glare. He didn't seem fazed but silenced himself. I only smirked as she glared at me having the same effect on me. She sighed shaking her head walking away.
Weiss: "What am I gonna do with you two doofuses." She said as we looked at each other before huffing and looking away.
