Captain of My Heart

I sat on the ground staring at the clouds bored out of my mind. I was interrupted by the sounds of growls. I looked behind me seeing a small pack of beowolves. I smirked grabbing my dual assault rifles turning around spraying into the pack. They were shredded to pieces as I blew the smoke from the barrels. Being an immortal human made life so boring. When your part dragon nothing really excites you in life. Never settled down with a single woman cause I didn't see a reason. If I mated with someone and they had my child they would just suffer alone. We wouldn't die even a quarter dragon child lives half a millennium.

(Y/n): "Fuck me it's so boring now... Well I am training to be a hunter of sorts so I guess that keeps me occupied for the time being...." I said to myself self yawning slightly. I laid down staring at the sky until my view was blocked by a single person.

Weiss: "What are you doing out here (Y/n)? You were meant to be back a few minutes ago."
(Y/n): "It's fine Weiss I did something productive at least." I said pointing to the trees shredded by the hail of bullets earlier. She just sighed crossing her arms across her chest glaring at me. I sat up giving up on laying there. She smiled patting my head as we walked back to class.

I got chewed out by the teacher for skipping out. But really I didn't care about that. I just wanted to get out of class and want to change into my other half.

Time skip 3 hours later

I rushed out of class running to the forest. I smiled happily gripping a stone in my pocket with my dual assault rifles. I looked around seeing no one around as I squeezed the stone. I held my head letting out a terrifying roar shaking the trees around me as my entire body became covered in scales. My head changed growing two horns and a snout as I sighed out a fume of smoke.

I looked at my assault rifles seeing them transform alongside me into dual dragon greatswords as I wielded them in a stance. I swung them together cleaving apart a tree. I smirked swinging them around more and more. I finally felt free of restraint during the time like this. But then my peace was shattered by the intrusion of a certain icey woman.

Weiss: "What..."
(Y/n): "Oh great... My peace is destroyed."
Weiss: "What... What are you (Y/n)?"
(Y/n): "Question do you believe in mythology?"
Weiss: "You mean those stories of made up creatures like gorgons, and dragons. No I don't they are just kids stories your semblance just gives you dragonesque armor... And fire... And weapons..."
(Y/n): "But it's not just that I am a dragon. Half dragon half human. Full abomination...."
Weiss: "Are you really a dragon?"
(Y/n): "A hybrid yes... The only of my kind what's it matter?"
Weiss: "How long have you been alive?"
(Y/n): "I... I have been around since the first humans that is the oldest memory I can recall."
Weiss: "Have you been alone that entire time?"
(Y/n): "Yes... Since my scales gave me youth forever I look like I do cause I haven't aged past that date. I may be 1,000,00 years old I never found someone who would understand."
Weiss: "Can... Can you talk to me about it?"
(Y/n): "If your willing to spend the rest of the day and partway into the night listening to my origins sure." I said sitting down as she took a second to decided on something. She sat beside my as I changed back to my human form telling her everything I could remember.

Time skip 6 hours later

I finished telling Weiss everything. She just stared at me in shock. I just shrugged letting out a yawn looking at her. She just shook her head in confusion trying to comprehend all the information she just learned.

Weiss: "I just... I... Wow that's just... Wow..."
(Y/n): "I know it's a lot to take in at once."
Weiss: "Its just.... How did you stand it all that time? Being all alone and abused..."
(Y/n): "I just gave up on being happy really."
Weiss: "And before you were the captain of a dragon guard?"
(Y/n): "Yeah... Back when the humans and Grimm were still rather ignorant of one another I was charged by the head guardian. He ordered me to captain all other abominations against all intruders who dared to enter our sanctum. We attacked on sight if we saw movement we moved in to kill."
Weiss: "Oh... And now?"
(Y/n): "Now I'm just bored and alone really. No one has ever sat down and listened to my story. I'm at a loss of what to think of you right now. But we can debate more tomorrow its late and i rather get you home." I said standing up giving her my hand. She flashed a smile thanking me as she took it. I lifted her up as we walked back to Beacon. Everything was fine till she cleared her throat and I looked at her. She was blushing as I shrugged confused until I felt movement in my hand. I looked down and realized I never let go of her hand. I released it as she giggled slightly regrabbing my hand pulling herself close to me.

(Y/n): "Uh... Weiss? What are you doing?"
Weiss: "I'm getting close to you is that bad?"
(Y/n): "Well no... In fact it's quite enjoyable but.. why?"
Weiss: "Well I liked you before everything back there and now I have to say something..."
(Y/n): "Is it 'I hate you?'" I said as she giggled more shaking her head.
Weiss: "It's more along the lines of I love you." She said kissing my cheek as I blushed ever so slightly. She giggled holding onto me tighter. "I will take that as you feel the same?"
(Y/n): "More or less yeah."
Weiss: "Alright I will take that just promise me some stuff."
(Y/n): "Ok?"
Weiss: "Come to me when you have a problem, if you ever feel lonely, or want to be loved. If your struggling ask me for help. Keep me safe. Love me back. And be the captain of my heart." She said as I blushed with each word looking away.
(Y/n): "S-Sure Weiss... I will do all those things for you... I love you too." I said holding her close kissing her head as we went to my dorm together.
