Im Broken Without You

I sat in my room thinking about my girlfriend Blake. She was absolutely an amazing girlfriend. She always took care of me when I needed her help on something. Like with classes that I have absolutely no clue with understanding she helps me out. When she describes the processes and everything to me in simple and understandable ways. I could never thank her enough for being there for me.

(Y/n): "I'm gonna go spend some quality time with her and see what she wants to do tomorrow." I said to myself getting up from my bed leaving my room. But when I opened my door I came face to face with Ruby. She stared at me blushing madly before looking away as I smiled going past her.
Ruby: "W-Wait!"
(Y/n): "What's wrong Ruby?"
Ruby: "I-Its um... N-Nevermind..." She said turning away as I shrugged walking past her. I went to the library knowing that would be where I would find her. But I saw her bag beside a seat but she wasn't sitting in it. I wandered around until I peeked around a bookcase and saw it.

There she was my girlfriend with Suns tongue shoved down her throat and his hands all over her. She wasnt pushing him away she was pulling him closer egging him on. I watched her rubbing his crotch as they stared into one another. I just backed up silently turning around walking out of the library. I was traumatized by what I saw as I headed back to my dorm.

When I arrived and opened the door I saw Ruby sitting on my bed. She looked like she was waiting for me this whole time. I just got her up and pushed her out of my room. I just wanted to be alone and left with my thoughts and knife.

Time skip 2 weeks later

I was nothing like I used to be. I cut my wrists every single night since I found out she was cheating on me. I hardly ate anything, drank anything, slept, I barely functioned at all. All I wanted to do was be alone and die by myself. Cause as it would appear that's just what everyone wants me to do. Everyone but one certain girl Ruby. She cared for me and spent every single moment of her day with me trying to help. I never spoke a word to her about anything. But it's like she knew what happened that day.

Ruby: "H-Hey (Y/n)." She said coming into my room. I wrapped my blanket around myself to hide the cuts as she sat beside me. "(Y/n) show me your arm mister." She said in a stern but caring tone as I stuck my arm out. It was dripping blood from the fresh cuts this morning. She just sighed getting up grabbing a wet wash cloth and a towel.

I watched as she wiped away my blood and dried my arms. It felt nice to know at least one person in this world cared about me. She always treats my injuries, my loneliness, she is like a better girlfriend then Blake was. And I have to admit I'm starting to wish I had gone out with Ruby instead of Blake.

(Y/n): "R-Ruby?"
Ruby: "Oh your finally speaking I'm so relieved to hear your voice again... What is it (Y/n)?" She said smiling sweetly as I looked away blushing.
(Y/n): "Well uh... T-Thanks for everything..."
Ruby: "Please anything to help you." She said holding me close as I blushed madly. I laid my head agaisnt her chest feeling so safe with her. I definitely think I'm falling in love with her but I don't know yet.

After an hour of staying like that together I got up seeing Ruby had fallen asleep. I moved away from her gently laying her down pulling my clean covers over her. She just smiled in her sleep turning over as I walked out of my room after changing into some clean clothes.

I went to my locker picking up my weapon Astral Blight my spear. It wasn't like Pyrrhas spear it was more... Shocking of sorts. I could fire lightning from the tip when I charged its power. I walked out of Beacon heading into the forest wanting to relieve some stress that was building up with being around Ruby so much.

I found a pack of Beowolves about 2 miles into the forest. I wielded Astral Blight in hand rushing the mangy creatures. It was a breeze destroying them since they seemed to be relatively weak. But then I heard howls from behind me. I turned only to have my shoulder clawed by multiple beowolves. I groaned in pain trying to stop the attacks. But they were attacking with ferocity and speed. I was gonna die if I didn't use it. My semblance atomic implosion... I gulped before channeling my aura into my semblance as a tear fell from my eye. I whispered how sorry I was to leave Ruby.

Ruby pov

I woke up from my nap hoping to be in (Y/n)s arms but he laid me down and covered me. I just aww'ed at how sweet he was. That was one of the reasons why I fell in love with him. When I looked out his window it was midday but something didn't feel right. I stood up staring outside as I saw a cloud of smoke rise out of the forest. I thought nothing of it until I felt something was wrong with (Y/n).

I ran out of his room bumping in Blake who was making out with Sun. I wanted to tell them right now but I was more concerned with (Y/n). So I pushed past them running out Beacon after grabbing Crescent Rose. I ran towards where the smoke was slightly rising from the forest. I arrived to a crater about 20 feet wide and 6 feet deep. I turned Rose into its sniper mode and eliminated the multiple Grimm. When I looked into the crater I felt my heart shatter. It was (Y/n) badly hurt bleeding from his head. I jumped down shaking him in tears calling his name getting no response.

Time skip 2 hours later

I sat beside his bed in the nurses. He was barely breathing and struggled to breath at all. I was in tears holding his hand begging him to stay with me. Then I heard the doors open as I saw Blake and Sun come in seeing (Y/n) they ran over looking worried. But I didn't buy it at all. It was there fault he was like this. I pushed Blake away in tears ready to tell her how much of a bitch she was.

(Y/n) pov

I opened my eyes slowly as everything seemed blurry. I heard Ruby talking to me as the doors opened. I had no clue where we were but it seemed so familiar. I heard three people talking it was Blake, Sun, and Ruby.

Ruby: "DAMNITT BLAKE THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!"
Blake: "ME?!? WHAT DID I DO?!?"
Sun: "YEAH BLAKE IS INNOCENT!!"
Ruby: "INNOCENT MY FUCKING ASS!! YOUR ALSO TO BLAME!! CAUSE TO TWO HAD TO FUCKING DO ALL THAT SHIT BEHIND HIS BACK!!"
Blake: "HE WAS USING ME FOR HELP THATS ALL!!"
Ruby: "HE FUCKING LOVED YOU, YOU GOD DAMN CHEATING BITCH!! HE CUT HIMSELF EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY CAUSE OF YOU TWO!! AND WHO TOOK CARE OF HIM!?! DEFINITELY NOT YOU IT WAS ME! A GIRL WHO LOVES (Y/N) THATS RIGHT I LOVE HIM. I LOVED HIM A LONG TIME BEFORE YOU DID. BUT LOOK AT HIM NOW HE MIGHT NOT EVEN COME BACK TO ME!! AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT FUCK YOU, YOU CHEATING FUCKING BITCH!!!" She concluded as no one said a thing and two pairs of feet sounded to have left the room. When I sat up looking at Ruby I saw she was flipping them both off bright red. I blushed after hearing her confession of love and telling Blake off.

I thought about what to do and decided I would show her how much she meant to me. I grabbed her arm weakly as she turned to me shocked as I pulled her onto my bed holding her. She just stared at me confused until I pressed my lips against hers holding her close. She froze for a second before wrapping her arms around my neck pulling herself closer to me. I blushed as we both closed our eyes enjoying the sweet embrace we were having. I held her close several minutes before letting her go as she stared into my eyes red faced.

(Y/n): "Thank you Ruby for everything. From taking care of me to making her see what she caused. I have been wanting to say this for a while. I love you without you I'm broken beyond repair I never want to be apart from you."
Ruby: "I love you too (Y/n)... I've wanted to say that for so long please promise to not hurt yourself anymore please..."
(Y/n): "Anything for you my love anything in the world to make you happy my beautiful rose." I said kissing her head as we cuddled in the bed ignoring the rest of the world.
