Okay, so James and I just tried doing the Origins Easter Egg a few times. We were doing so well the first time. The first time we did it today we played for 148 minutes, so almost 2 and a half hours. And that was the farthest we ever got. We got to the 6th step: Weild a Fist of Iron. We were just starting the 6th step when things went south. James died in a bad way and the controller didn't let me sprint so I died. We were on step 6 out of 8. Step 6, out of 8. We were so close. The last two steps will go by quickly. Basically we were there. Step 7: "Raise Hell!" ...thank you Vorcuta prisoners. Anyway, in the seventh step all we need to do is go to the Crazy Place and kill a bunch of zmobies after places the 4 staffs in their respective pedastals. After you kill the zombies you "complete the easter egg" and get the achievement "Little Lost Girl". But we are not done. Step 8: "Freedom!" ...thank you too Mason. Sorry. In the eight step all we need to do is release the Maxis Drone in the Crazy Place and hold square (X if on Xbox) in the middle of the Crazy Place and you will get the end game cutscene. The match will end and you will win. If you did the last optional step. The steps for the Origins Easter Egg is as follows:
Step 1: Secure the Keys: acquire all four upgrades staffs
Step 2: Ascend from Darkness: put the four upgraded staffs in the new pedastals that show up in the robots and at the bottom of The Mound
Step 3: Rain Fire: acquire the G-Strike Beacons and press one of the buttons that show up in the robots at the same time (If solo you will have a little bit of time to do it) and throw one at the stone area outside the map near Generator 5
Step 4: Unleash the Horde: release the Maxis Drone near the hole you uncovered and a few Panzers (the map's Boss Zombie) will pop out of the hole. Kill them and continue
Step 5: Skewer the Winged Beast: acquire a Zombie Blood (get by either killed a zombie and haveing the chance for one to drop, or once per round shoot the three wagons that are on fire with the ice staff, this will spwan a single Zombie Blood at the top of The Mound) and shoot down a glowing plane that will only show if you have Zombie Blood. After this the pilot of the plane will spawn near The Mound going clock-wise around it. Find him and kill him. He will then drop the Maxis Drone
Step 6: Weild a Fist of Iron: acquire the Thunder Fists (done by filling the four Soul Chests in the map) and upgrade them, done by going to the very bottom of The Mound, where you built the four staffs and punch a zombie with a blue mist around them. After a certain amount of times you do this a zombie will dro a pickup that will upgrade your Thunder Fists (the Thunder Fists will gain the elemental property of the staff you are currently holding)
Step 7: Raise Hell: go to the Crazy Place and put the four upgraded staffs in their pedastals and kill zombies in the Crazy Place
Step 8: Freedom: after killing the zombies release the Maxis Drone in the Crazy Place and press and hold the interact and reload button (square on Playstation, X on Xbox).
If done correctly you will be a really good zombie player for completing this Egg on your own or with another player with the same or less amount of experiance than you at CoD Zombies. If you do it solo on your first try then I will be jealous. I'm good solo, but I can only ever get near the end of Step 1: Secure the Keys.
Anyway the try that we just did we only got to Step 2: Ascend from Darkness. and that took us 2 hours.
Basically what that means that the first step can take a forever or just a few minutes. It all depends on the in-game weather, and the robots that are coming through. That and the points you have to open up the rest of the map, and a few other factors. Such as not dying like an someone new to the game and that kind of thing. I woke up 22 hours ago. And the time before I went to sleep I was awake for something like 30 hours. I'm tired so I'm going to go to sleep. But if James want's to try agian I will give it my all beofre going to bed. I'm also hungry and hot. So I'm going to take off my hoodie get something to eat and go to sleep. Though I will most likely be awake until 1 a.m.. Well, unless if something important happens this will be a good night and good bye.
