Yang pov
I sat on my bed looking at my scroll. It had been the most boring day ever, None of the classes were actually interesting, no new assignments to go out and kick butt, and nothing really interesting on the news.
Yang: "I am so bored..." I groaned out getting similar responses from the others.
Weiss: "For once I agree with you Yang. It has been a very boring day here."
Blake: "Normally I am all up for the relaxing day where I can just read, but today I don't know I just can't get into reading right now."
Ruby: "Yeah I think we are so bored cause the heat is killer right now." She said as we all groaned in agreement and I wiped the sweat off my forehead looking at my hand.
Yang: "So does anyone have any plans to beat the heat? All the air conditioning broke down over night so that's why I think classes got can celled."
Weiss: "Hmm... Well I know of this lake we could go swimming at." She said as we all perked up staring at her. "I don't know if any other students know about it or not so we might has well try it." She said as I thought it over the other two didn't sound so sure about it, but I chimed in and said we should. They looked at one another then shrugged as we all started looking for our bikinis.
I got my bikini on after stripping down looking at myself in the mirror. I liked the simple two piece. Nothing special, nothing fancy just a plain yellow two piece. I glanced at the others noticing the similarities between all our nikinis. They were all solid colors of our most prominent color. Like mine was yellow, Rubes was red, etc... I smiled as we all put on some clothes to cover ourselves as we headed out the dorm. Weiss directed us as we arrived a few minutes later at her supposed hidden lake. But we found that what felt like the entire school was already here hogging the water. We all sighed as Weiss apologized and we turned back. But we then stopped seeing the new kid (Y/n) looking just as discouraged as we were. I noticed he had on some blue and red trunks. Well the red was only visible from the side and barely visible from the front and back. We all watched as he headed deeper into the woods as I glanced at everyone else.
Yang: "Should we?"
Weiss: "We might as well we got changed and everything so what would be the point if we didn't try for some more quiet places."
Blake: "I'm in if anything I can just lounge underneath a big shady tree and read... maybe take a nap if necessary."
Yang: "Alright then it's settled. Besides we knew Rubes answer the moment we knew it was (Y/n)." I said as the others giggled as she went bright red.
Ruby:"Y-Yang..."
Yang: "Relax baby sis you know I am just teasing I wont tell him how big of a crush you have." I said as she looked at me skeptically. "I promise now come on we have to hurry or else we will lose him." I said running after him as the others followed behind me. We ran for a minute or two following what we could assume were his tracks. I pushed a few branches out of the way as I stared in shock. Before us was a massive lake not a soul around just us.
Yang: "Holy shit..."
Ruby: "What?? What???" She asked as I gestured for them all to come closer. They did as I showed them the vast lake. They all shared similar reactions to mine as I looked at them and smirked.
Yang: "Shall we?"
Ruby: "Yes we shall." She said as we all stripped back down to our bikinis and jumped into the water. I looked at Blake as she resurfaced and shook her head smiling.
Yang: "Thought cats hated water?"
Blake: "We do. This? This however is an exception." She said as we all giggled together until I felt something bump me from behind. I glanced back to see (Y/n) floating around with his eyes closed. I saw the subtle raising and lowering of his chest telling me he dosed off. But the more I stared at him thinking he was a cute guy, the more I noticed how well defined his muscles are. Not bulging masses of muscles but small but strong looking muscles. Like he was lifting for years at a slow pace muscles.
Ruby: "Yang? What you looking at?" She asked as she started swimming over to me as I smirked putting a finger to my lips in a shhing motion. She looked at me confused until I slowly got out of the way as I watched her face go bright red seeing him. She froze and just slowly swam backwards obviously embarrassed about what's she is seeing. I smirked and reached out for her hand dragging her slowly to him as she went even brighter in the face.
Yang: "What's the matter Rubes? I thought you've been wanting to see how he holds that huge weapon."
Ruby: "W-Weapon? O-Oh you mean his sword I mean hammer!" She shouted obviously flustered by the question as I giggled. However I saw ripples coming from behind us as we all watched (Y/n) flip over and dunk himself into the water. Within an instant he resurfaced and shook his head pushing his hair back chuckling to himself. However I watched as he opened his eyes and saw us. The slow change in his face from happiness to pure embarrassment was probably the cutest thing ever. Cause he went from smiling to gasping before diving underwater and swimming away. We all looked at each other and giggled at his reaction. I noticed a splashing sound coming from behind a rock close by and I decided to go and investigate it. And low and behold it was him holding his chest panting slightly. We all knew that (Y/n) was a very shy kid and probably the quietest kid at Beacon.
(Y/n): "W-Why and h-how did they get here..." He said as I quietly giggled slowly getting up behind him. I tapped his shoulder as he didn't turn around and was about to dive underwater till I grabbed at his trucks catching them.
Yang: "No way mister." I said dragging him back to the others as they stared at me. I smiled holding him up by his trucks as his hands were infront of his crotch causing us to all giggle.
Ruby: "Y-Yang!" She shouted as I saw the brightness of her face from far away. I smiled letting him down rejoining the others as they stared at me more.
Yang: "Well he was the one that showed us here. So I feel we should at least all thank him properly. You know." I said as they others sighed before shaking their heads. I looked at (Y/n) as he was mostly underwater as only his nose and above were shown.
Yang: "Anyone want to go first? No okay..." I said looking at him getting to eye to eye with or as close as I could and still being able to speak. "Thank you (Y/n). I am sorry if we ruined your tranquility here but we had already changed and needed to relax..." I said as he looked away slightly. One by one the others thanked and apologized. However when it was Ruby's turn she was just like him. "Come on sis we all thanked him now you do it." I said as she shook her head turning her back to us. This caused us all to giggle however there was a deeper laughter as we all glanced to see (Y/n) was chuckling with us. We went silent as he was still going until hearing he was by himself. I smirked as the more time I spent around him the more I understood why Ruby was head over heels in love with him.
The rest of the time we all spent together playing around in the water enjoying the refreshing coolness it provided. I watched as Weiss and Blake both got out laying underneath a huge oak tree stretching out. I glanced back at Rubes and (Y/n) as they were still being so shy around each other. It was beyond adorable seeing this. I smiled as Weiss called me over and I swam out leaving the two to themselves as we talked.
Weiss: "You know I think that (Y/n) and Ruby would make a really good couple."
Yang: "Hmm? How so?"
Weiss: "Well think about it. He is super shy and nervous around every single person here. While Ruby only gets that way with him. Eventually her social butterfly persona will rub off on him."
Yang: "I mean sure that does sound nice but what if it was both me and my sister with him?"
Blake: "I ship it." She said with a lazy yawn turning over falling asleep as Weiss and me looked at one another.
Weiss: "You don't seriously..."
Yang: "I don't know I mean he is a pretty cute guy, and has like the perfect body. But the thing is... I don't know if these are my true feelings or just my feelings after seeing his body." I said as she looked at me giggling.
Weiss: "Hard to say we will have to find out with time." She said as I nodded looking back at them only to see them both bright red floating on their backs. I giggled getting back into the water slowly pulling them out. I laid them out beside Blake as I looked at the setting sun.
Yang: "We spent all day out here. I say it was a good day wouldn't you?"
Weiss: "Indeed. I was however skeptical of us wearing bikini's since I am sure almost none of us would of had fun but instead been berated by guys." She said as I nodded glancing back at the now snoozing (y/n).
Yang: "You have to admit it was nice having a guy that was in control of himself." I said as we both giggled and laid down with them. I closed my eyes thinking just a quick nap wouldn't hurt.
(y/n) pov 3 hour later
I was awoken by the rustling in the bushes to my right. My eyes shot open sitting up as I examined the surrounding area seeing I was still outside and it was night time. I glanced to my left seeing all four girls still asleep as the growls of beowolves could be heard clear over the rustling. I took a deep breath standing up.
(Y/n): "E-Everyone.... g-get up..." I said quietly as no one stirred. "G-G-Guys?!?" I said louder as one stirred before falling back asleep. "G-G-GUYS!!!" I shouted as they all jumped up from my shouting. "G-Guys... R-Run n-now..." I said glancing back as they stared at me.
Yang: "W-What's going on?"
(Y/n): "I-It doesn't matter... R-Run back to B-Beacon... N-Now." I said as I turned back around as I heard a beowolve lunging at me as I caught it's arm and slammed it against a tree.
Ruby: "(Y-Y/n)???" She said as I quickly glanced back offering a small smile feeling my top half looking calm. But I could feel my knee's wobbling from the nervousness of their stares and the situation.
Blake: "We aren't leaving you here!"
(Y/n): "H-How well can you fight hand to hand? How many times have you had to fight without your weapon??" I said as my voice deepened and grew louder. "I am guessing barely at all. I have always had to either fight bare handed against humans or Grimm. So it doesn't matter if you want to stay and help or can't what matters now is that you all get to Beacon and wait for me." I said as I heard two sighs and the shuffling of feet as I glanced back seeing Yang and Ruby still standing there staring at me as I felt my shyness coming back. "I-I-I will be b-b-back I p-p-promise..." I stuttered out as they nodded slowly backing away until they were out of my view.
I looked at the packs of beowolves that had gathered from my shouting as I took a deep breath trying to calm myself. But what happened between Ruby and me earlier before we all fell asleep came to my mind.
Ruby: "I like you... I really like you a lot (Y/n). I know your not gonna be able to respond but I just wanted you to know..."
I stared at my hands as they howled around me as I clenched my fist. As all nervousness and shyness left my body. I looked at the Grimm that surrounded me challenging me for the lives of my friends. I cracked a small smile as a few jumped on me pushing me onto my back snapping at my neck. I just grabbed their jaws with my hands and ripped them open before feeling a slight bit of electricity flowing through my body. I just glanced back after hearing a scream from Ruby. Within moments I teleported to their position as the others were nearly at Beacon but where cut off by some alpha's. I looked at Ruby and saw she had a big cut on her leg while she was holding her ankle. I felt the electricity coursing through my veins as I grabbed a tree smashing the outside with my bare hands before picking it up roots and all.
I made the others duck as I swung it around knocking all the alpha's back. I looked at the others and picked up Ruby in my arms. She looked up at me bright red as I looked away blushing myself. I looked at the others seeing Yang also had a sprained ankle as I picked her up as well. They both were in my arms as I ran with Weiss and Blake to Beacon as we arrived. I glanced back seeing the beowolves trying to approach before quickly backing off skulking back into the woods. I smiled before I looked down and saw Ruby and Yang pressed against my body. Without the adrenaline I went bright red embarrassed and shy falling backwards unconscious.
7 hours later
I opened my eyes blinking slightly as the morning light shone through the window. I went to sit up but found myself unable to do so. I was worried thinking I was having sleep paralysis until I saw two heads of hair moving beneath the sheets. I said tufts of crimson and gold as I went bright red. Slowly both Yang and Ruby popped out from underneath the sheets holding onto me.
Ruby: "M-Morning..."
Yang: "Morning handsome."
(Y/n): "..." I couldn't speak as they smilled slightly kissing my cheek.
Ruby: "Thank you for saving us... And... I wanted to tell you this again but... I love you... last night cemented how I felt and I will never change that feeling."
Yang: "And I love you as well. At first when I found you asleep at the lake I thought you were pretty cute but the longer I spent with you the more I felt like I always wanted to be with you." They said as I blushed bright red blinking a few times as they both took turns kissing me on the lips. After a few minutes they stopped and cuddled up to me.
Both: "These are our honest feelings (Y/n)." They said as I smiled slightly wrapping my arms around them as they looked up at me as I nodded. They giggled hugging me tightly as we fell back asleep.
