So for this oneshot the reader will have a super strength quirk and this takes place on the first day of their first year. It's a bit short but whatever. Enjoy!
Thunder rumbled in the distance as you fastened your school issued tie around your crisp white collared shirt. Your first day at the prestigious U.A. Academy and it was already bleak. You sighed and figured you could make it to school before it started raining if you ran. "Mom I'm leaving for school now!" you yelled across the house.
"Alright, but make sure to bring your umbrella!" she yelled back but you were already out of the house and bounding down the street. Your feet pounded on the hard pavement and your breath was already becoming ragged after just a few minutes of running. You thought that you should definitely work on your stamina if you were going to be a pro-hero. After all, you already thought that your super-strength quirk was too simple, and you didn't feel like being out-shined by all of the other kids with flashy quirks.
You were so lost in thought that you failed to realize the darkening rain clouds and steady rainfall beginning to accumulate. Oh crap I better hurry, you thought. U.A was still a few blocks away though, and it was already raining hard. You took cover under a covered bus stop and decided to wait out the storm. It was looking like you were gonna be late for your first day after all. You groaned and kicked the ground. It was already a miracle that you even passed the entrance exam and made it into U.A, and now you were gonna make a bad impression on everyone by being late.
That was when you saw him. He was rounding the corner of the street holding an umbrella in one hand and a notebook in the other. His green hair bounced with every step he took and you thought it looked a lot like a head of broccoli. But what caught your eye was his new U.A. uniform that matched yours, save for the skirt and tights that you wore. At least he was prepared for the first day, you thought enviously as you crossed your arms tightly and scrunched your nose. As he passed by you under the bus stop he glanced in your direction and his once calm features became flustered and almost nervous looking. You looked right at him and became aware that you might have been glaring at him this whole time.
"U--m...um...do y-you go to U.A?" he asked you nervously as he clutched his notebook closer to his chest.
"Yeah, it's my first day," you told him, "and it's not really turning out the way I expected it to." You looked at the ground unsure of what to say to him next. If he kept talking to you he would be late too and the storm was just getting worse. He stepped under the covered bus stop with you and closed his black umbrella.
"It's my first day t-too. Do y-you have an umbrella?" he asked you seemingly getting less nervous. You chuckled and shook your head. He looked away for a second and seemed to be thinking of a solution. "Well we c-can share!" he suddenly exclaimed startling you.
"Alright! But we better hurry...um...what's your name?" you asked awkwardly as you two started walking hurriedly toward the school against the wind and rain.
"O-oh it's Midoriya Izuku! W-What's your name?" he asked you tentatively.
"It's y/n! Nice to meet you Midoriya," you said as you smiled brightly. He smiled back at you just as brightly. You felt yourself blush slightly at his smile and you turned away before he could see. As you two approached the huge entrance to the school you stopped for a moment and looked at Midoriya seriously.
"Midoriya thank you for helping me and...let's do our best at U.A!" you exclaimed loudly enough for everyone within a 10-mile radius to hear.
"You got it y/n!" he replied smiling. This was going to be an interesting first year for sure.
