47. Teenage Desires

Tristan gave him a threatening look " You have nerve Viggo throwing accusations my way. You know full well how insulting it is for me when you imply I would hurt Vienna. You crossed the line today..."

Tristan was about to grab Viggo and drag him to an empty corner to teach him a lesson. He was going to have a long painful chat with Viggo. Indeed, Viggo was in need of a lesson for disrespecting him. But just when Tristan was about to act, he came to a halt. Tristan's eye caught her small figure walking across the lawn towards the drama studio. Was there any sight more beautiful than her? What was he thinking? If he dealt with Viggo, he was going to lose time with her. It was the whole school drama production rehearsal again in their drama lesson double period.

Tristan reluctantly looked at Viggo " I am watching you Viggo. Don't test me like this next time.... I am eagerly waiting to catch you where I want you. Don't make it worse for yourself. I told you what's coming your way. I look forward to returning the favour. You wind me up like this again and I will make you really sorry...."

Viggo knew it was never going to be over with Tristan unless he said it was. He was in too deep now that he had taken Tristan on. He had to watch how he acted around Angelia or he was going to ruin his chances of getting to attend the prom with her. Tristan was a big threat.

Viggo followed Tristan, to the next lesson as he was deep in thought.

As he was walking to the drama studio he heard Vienna from behind him " Viggo."

Viggo turned around and saw Vienna " Hey."

Vienna smiled " Did you join any new sport teams ?"

Viggo shook his head " Not really."

Vienna nodded " I don't think anyone was paying much attention to trials for sports teams. People were immersed with watching the match between Letizia and Angelia. Then people kept going on and on about what happens next. I think Angelia would want a rematch soon to get her captaincy back. It was pretty close."

Viggo sighed " I think Angelia won't want a rematch. She was tired of being captain. I think vice captaincy is what she likes more so there is less responsibilities."

Kick boxing was as big as basketball at the school mainly because they were the main teams competing against the competitors from other partner schools like the one in Milan. Kick boxing and basketball were more well received in the European branches of the school so the basketball and kick boxing fever had spread to their branch too as well as other partner schools.

Vienna sighed " I know. Angelia is quite humble. She doesn't like the like light that much. When the prom time comes, we have that sports week to build up to the event. I think our cousin Tiziana, our uncle Pietro's daughter with her kickboxing team from Milan would really want to win this time. I wonder how they will react to Letizia as the new addition."

Viggo nodded " It would be fun to watch. I know Vitale and Andreas are definitely coming with all they have."

Vienna walked into the drama studio alongside Viggo but then they parted as they went to find the scripts around the room with their names on them. There were chairs around the room with scripts laid out already on them to speed up the process so students could get on with practicing their party's for the play and the teacher could go around to check to what standard they were performing.

Vienna found a script with her name on it and found Tristan's on the chair next to hers. It was going to be hard to avoid Tristan. She didn't need to anymore. But still it was overwhelming to be close to him for two periods. Maybe she could create some distance to avoid looking at him too much. Maybe she could hide behind a hat again at least when she didn't want to look at his piercing pair of eyes that looked at her so possessively every time she turned to him. It wasn't really the intimidation as such. It was now more to do with knowing the fact that Tristan cared so much for her.

She walked to the long row of costumes that everyone was trying on. She picked a hat again but it was out of reach. She stood on her tip toes to try to reach it but then she saw someone reach for it.

Tristan's voice came from behind her " I don't like this hat."

Vienna bit her lip and turned around making Tristan's heart melt as she looked up at him. She was just perfect. When she bit her lip it really made Tristan want to kiss those lips. It was as though she was teasing him. When he could ever get his first kiss, he had no idea. Not anytime soon, he bet.

Vienna shyly asked " Why? Why not?"

Tristan looked at the hat " I don't like it because I like to see the person I am practicing with to not hide behind anything and I dont like them to be looking away from me every five seconds."

Vienna knew he saw right through her but how could he be so accurate? Vienna whispered " I like it."

Tristan looked at the hat and then at her " I don't. You haven't even read the new script so you don't know what costumes are fitting and useful in helping you to get into character. Lets read the script first. " He then put the hat back out of Vienna's reach.

Vienna sighed in defeat and was annoyed that he foiled her plan. She walked quickly ahead of Tristan towards their spot and had no idea how Tristan was enjoying watching her just walk.

Tristan felt so fortunate. He got to look at her all he wanted and with a good excuse of practicing.

As Vienna sat down and picked up her script from the floor in front of the chair, Tristan sat opposite her and picked his script " Lets see if the script is better than last time." He was going to have a word with Azurine and Edward if they made Vienna's character into anything but perfect. How dare they make her into a cheater? He couldn't stand the thought of anyone thinking of her that way even in a play. She was just so pure and honest just like her mother. He would have given anything if his own mother was abit more normal like Adele Rosario. Tristan really admired Vienna's mother who just loved her children like no other. She just wanted the best and most comfortable life for her children and she made sure of it personally.

Tristan's mother, Sancia was quite caring but she was extreme. She was manipulative and liked to exercise her power even for personal matters. It created distance within their family. She was brutal at her job and played mind games with those around her. Those working for her and with her always had to watch their step and hoping not to ever say the wrong words to become an object of her games or getting caught in the middle of her vendetta quests that she loved pursuing. Emanuelle had more of a direct approach and mostly focused more of his energy, time and resources on making alliances rather than taking revenge. Opposites attracted indeed. Tristan knew the only factor stopping his parents from breaking up their marriage was their strong love. They came close to getting a divorce when friction and arguments reached a high point but they made up in the end to the relief of their children. Of course the Rosario household did not have that worry. Francesco and Adele Rosario were always in love. They just were.

Tristan was grateful that Sancia did her duties as a mother at the same time as her job. Still, it was hard to overlook the formality that had to exist sometimes in their relationships. It was hard to have a conversation with her and not worry of what actions she was going to take next. She liked interfering and was easy to offend. Tristan, Trent and Clarisa had to be even careful what they said about their teachers at the meal tables since their teachers happened to disappear the next day if they mentioned them and their mother felt offended by the unfortunate teachers. Their mother was obsessed with control and vengeance to an excessive level. She was competitive too and tried to transfer her high ambitions to her children too. Tristan tried as hard as he could to protect and defend his siblings if their mother tried to push them hard. He was concerned for Clarissa since their mother tried to make her into her image the most pressurising her. He did try to help but he was not always successful. The only one who stopped their mother was their father.

Tristan started reading the new script and so did Vienna before they could start rehearsing the lines. After minutes past Tristan nodded in approval as he looked up at Vienna " This new script is much better. At least you are not cheating on me."

Vienna looked up " You don't hit me in this script either. That's a relief. But you hit... Viggo."

Tristan nodded as he looked at Viggo who was surrounded by girls who were arguing over who was to rehearse with him now that Azurine was rehearsing with Trent. Tristan stated as his stare turned to Vienna " I know. There are unbelievable scenes that these script writers come up with." He then thought to himself " Oh, I look forward to kicking his backside."
