Alex was going to go home and grab a shower after practice, but when Avi told him what was going on, he wanted to come over and make sure Mitch was okay.

In the meantime, Scott took Mitch into his room to get him some pants. Scott eyed Mitch quickly. "I hope Avi doesn't make you uncomfortable when he says things like that."

"No, it's okay. I know he'd never act on any of it... I think he was just trying to make me feel better."

"I guess... Just want to be sure you're okay with it. Because you know I'd put him in his place and tell him to back the fuck off if you told me to."

Mitch smiled and leaned up to kiss him once. "I know you would."

Scott pulled away just to look down at him. "So... Wanna explain to me why you're wearing these? Not that you're not the sexiest little goddess I've ever seen. But... Just asking."

"I don't know... I was just trying them on to see if I'd want to wear them in front of you, and... That's when they started arguing."

"Ah, I see." Scott paused a moment, and then smirked. "You just wanted to show off your sexy little ass, didn't you? I see right through your tricks, Grassi."

Mitch giggled a little, a light blush sprinkled across his face. "No, no I swear it was purely coincidental."

"Pfft." Scott scoffed with a slight eye roll. "Yeah right."

"Excuse me, Mr. I thought we had a confrontation about the eye rolling thing."

"If Avi weren't in the other room, I'd have jumped you by now." Scott moved back a step. "However, I will show some restraint." He then walked across his room, beautiful long legs taking beautifully long strides before he opened his dresser and grabbed a pair of sweat pants. "Did you want the grey ones or the--?"

"Wait, hang on. We're going out tonight, Scott. I can't wear sweatpants."

"I'm sure you'd look gorgeous either way."

"Scott." Mitch waited for him to look, and then spoke again. "No."

Scott frowned, closing his drawer. "Do you want to go shopping or something? We could buy you something cute, or like--" He gasped suddenly. "I could buy you a dress if you want."

"A dress?" Mitch blinked at him. "You want me to wear a dress in public?"

"You wear them all the time."

"Only in front of you. That's totally different."

"But... You'd look so amazing. You'd lighten the room." Scott pouted at him. "Please?"

"Not today, Scott. Okay? Some other time." He just didn't have the confidence for it today, after what had happened at his house.

"Okay... Fine. But we could still go buy you some clothes. I don't want you to be uncomfortable... And I know you take lots of pride in what you wear."

"I don't want you to spend money, Scottie."

"How about, um... That thing we talked about, about splitting our spending or whatever? I'll buy your clothes, and you can buy the first round of drinks."

Mitch's eyes widened a little. "Oh! I don't, um... I don't know if I wanna, like..."

Scott quickly spoke over him, walking forward to snag his hand to hold. "Shit, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to presume. You don't have to drink if you don't want to. I'm totally sorry..."

Mitch smiled a little at him. "No, it's okay... But I'll definitely pay for your drink. That'll be very boyfriend-y of me."

"Sure... Whatever makes you happy. So... We can go shopping? You should probably wear the sweatpants until we get you some pants though.."
