Mitch was honestly impressed at how capable Scott was of actually doing work.
Scott had ended up doing most of their classwork for their first class, all of it for their second class, and even went to talk to Mitch's culinary teacher at lunch so she'd know that Mitch wasn't okay but didn't want to make a big deal out of it.
At lunch, Scott took Mitch out to feed him and get him even more coffee to keep him happy.
During their last class, Scott had math, but he left halfway through to go to culinary and check on Mitch.
Luckily, the class had been working on something, so Scott walked right up to the teacher. "Is he still here?"
She nodded, and pointed toward her office. "I closed the door so it would be a little quieter. I have a pillow and a blanket in there as well."
Scott tilted his head a little. "You keep a pillow and a blanket in your office?"
"You just cut class, didn't you? I won't tell if you don't." She winked at him playfully.
Scott huffed out a laugh. "Listen. My teacher would be more shocked if you told her I hadn't cut class. But I'll keep your secret anyway, because you're being nice to my baby."
"Fair enough. Make sure he's alright, would you?"
Scott nodded once, and turned to walk into her office. He closed the door quietly, smiling a little at Mitch taking a nap on the ground, curled up into a little ball underneath the blanket.
Scott knelt down on the ground, and gently kissed Mitch's forehead, before rubbing it in with his thumb.
Mitch peeked up at him all of a sudden. "Scott..?"
"Hey, babe. Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up."
"Why are you here? You have math..?"
"Wanted to check on you, babe."
Mitch frowned. "Scott, you know better. You can't keep missing that class."
"Don't scold me like a parent. I wanted to check on you. Just thank me."
Mitch closed his eyes. "I'm not gonna thank you for waking me up. But... It was sweet of you to look for me."
Scott laid himself down beside Mitch, throwing his arm over Mitch's waist. "Are you okay, babe? I promise I'll drive you directly to my house after school, and you can sleep as long as you want. I can make dinner, or whatever you need."
Mitch nodded slowly. "Okay. Thank you. Sleeping now. Are you staying?"
"If you want me to."
Mitch paused. "You really should get back to math."
"But you'll help me with the homework, so."
"If you'd like me to, sure. But still... You're the one who has to pass the class. Not me."
Scott stood up suddenly. "I'm going to go back to class to get whatever make up work I need. Then I'm taking you to my house, so you can rest up while also helping me with homework."
"I'm not sick, Scott. I'm just feeling kind of down. I don't need rest."
"Well it's not doing you any good to be here. So I'm taking you home."
Mitch nodded and stood from the floor, beginning to put the blanket away. "Go to math, and I'll meet you in the 200 bathroom, okay? I have to pee."
"Fine. See you there."

When Scott walked into the bathroom, two papers in his hand, Mitch was washing his face.
Scott leaned down to kiss Mitch's ear, nibbling on his earlobe a little.
Mitch leaned into him subconsciously, closing his eyes a little as he got lost in the feeling. "Hello to you too."
Scott grinned a little, pulling away to kiss his ear once and then he stood back up to his normal height. "Hey. You alright?"
Mitch nodded reaching over to grab a paper towel to carefully dry his face. "Yeah. I'm okay. Thank you for driving me home."
"You're welcome. How long will you stay at mine? When do you need to be home?"
"I don't know. Not soon, hopefully."
"Oh, so it's a problem at home?"
Mitch glared at him, tossing the paper in the trash. "Don't. Seriously, I'll start crying."
Scott nodded a few times. "Sorry... Your mom likes me a lot, do you want me to ask? I want to be a gentleman, so she'll like me."
"She doesn't know we're dating, Scott."
"Still. I want to be a nice 'friend.' I want her to allow you to come over more."
Mitch just nodded. "Whatever you think is right, go for it."
Scott, passed his two math papers to Mitch, before roughly flipping him around to press his ass against Scott's hips.
Scott then slid his hands slowly down Mitch's stomach, to slide themselves into his pockets to search for Mitch's phone.
Mitch let him do it, again closing his eyes and leaning back against the body behind him with a small smile. He's never minded how much Scott manhandles him, knowing it was all in good spirit.
Scott grabbed his phone and then moved away, not wanting someone to walk in on them.
Not because he cared of course. He had no shame about these things. But he knew Mitch was embarrassed easily, and had a reputation to uphold with these teachers.
Scott leaned to kiss the back of Mitch's neck before turning him around. "I'll call your mom, okay? To be sure it's alright. You don't have to say a single word to her, if you don't want to."
Mitch nodded a few times, before grabbing his backpack off the floor, and putting Scott's papers inside for safety. "Okay."
Scott held a hand out for Mitch, who grinned and took it.
Scott held another hand out, after putting Mitch's phone in his own pocket. "Can I carry your backpack too?"
"If you absolutely must."
Scott took the backpack immediately, as he dialed Mitch's mom.
She answered almost instantaneously, sounding overly chipper as usual. "Hi, baby! How's my little kissy boy doing?"
Scott cleared his throat, holding the door open for Mitch to lead him outside the school. "Hello, Mrs. Grassi. This is Scott Hoying, one of Mitch's friends. We met yesterday..."
"Oh! Well hello there. Is Mitchell okay?"
"Yes, ma'am. He's perfectly fine. I'm just calling to ask your permission for him to come over this afternoon and help me out with some homework? I missed a few math classes recently, and I know he's at the top of our class, so..."
Of course, mentioning Mitch's intelligence appealed to her, as Scott knew it would. "Oh, of course! You're a smart boy, going to him for help. Will I need to stop by to pick him up? Also, how long will he be there?"
"I was hoping he could stay until dinner, so I can feed him as a relative payment for his tutoring. And then I can drive him home immediately after."
"That sounds just fine. You two have fun! Tell my Mitchell I love him, and he'd better behave himself."
"I will, ma'am. Have a nice day." Scott hung up, too afraid to wait for an answer.
Mitch was smirking at him, leaning against Scott's car waiting for Scott to open the doors. "Wow. That was impressive. You're a good liar, and you have an impeccably large vocabulary."
Scott just shrugged, handing Mitch's phone back.
"So you're making me dinner?"
"I'm going to order you some, yes. If you even want to stay that long? Sorry, I should've asked you first. The lie just kind of spiraled out of control..."
"No, it's fine. I'd love to stay for dinner."
Scott nodded, opening his car, and taking a seat behind the wheel. "She seems like a nice lady."
"Ah, yes. She's a real joy."
"Ouch... The sass practically burned me." A pause, used to rephrase. "She's nice to me, is what I meant. I know you two don't have the best relationship..."
"Alright, you're opening the can of worms I was saving for later. So you should start driving."
Scott looked over at him for a second, and then turned the car on. "Fuck, Mitch... I've been so worried about you all damn day."
"What a great way to waste your time."
"Mitch, knock that off please. You are not a waste of my time. The complete opposite, actually."
"Whatever. Can we order Chinese?"
