Chapter 185

"Hmph . Your time has already passed, Uther . Even if you got people to help you, they won't be able to take back this country . " The man who was hiding in the darkness spoke in a haughty manner . Although their forces already lost many people, he still believed in their victory .

"We'll just have to wait and see . " Uther brandished his Glaive and swung it . A pure white wave was released in a crescent shape, hurtling towards its target . The man also brought out his sword and countered with a dark slash as well . Uther seemed to be using Light magic, while the other used Dark magic . Both of them were opposites of each other . Neither could hold the advantage .

Gobuta was in a heated battle with the man in front of him . His opponent relied heavily on his speed to get around, but Gobuta managed to react in time . Dozens of sword slashes were sounded per second . The sparks that resulted from these weapons caused the night sky to brighten up . It was as if a comet lit up the sky as it passed by . Except for this time, many comets appeared .

"Okay everyone, regroup . A strong one has appeared . " Eric shouted to catch the attention of his comrades . Like Gobuta earlier, he noticed the appearance of an Immortal Establishment . As none of them were at such a level, they needed to gang up on him to defeat him .



"You guys should take care of the minions . I and Edmund will fight him . " As the strongest one present, Leonard devised a fight plan .

"No . You guys should be the ones to do that . We need to learn to fight stronger opponents . Plus, you don't have to worry . We're all geniuses here so we should be able to handle it . He's only a level 1 anyway . " Eric decided to leave matters in the hands of the younger generation .

"No, we can't have you killed by some like him . " Leonard seemed to be adamant about fighting that man .

"You don't have to worry . Raikou down there is keeping an eye on us . He was the one who noticed the man first . " Griffin spoke as he looked towards Raikou . Raikou was still going around with Oliver taking care of the weak opponents . But, his eyes never left the group of young people .

"You understand how they feel, don't you, Leonard? Let them do what they want . We'll save them in case something happens . " Edmund came to the aid of the young people . Leonard sighed and nodded his head . As they finished their conversation, their enemies closed in on them .



"Have you finished saying your goodbyes?" The Immortal Establishment enemy had a nasty look on his face . His eyes were narrow, looking like slits . He was like a snake in the way he looked . 'Let's call him Snake from now on . ' Eric smiled as he thought to himself . All of them readied themselves to fight him . Leonard and Edmund engaged with the other men that came with him .

"So, I'm stuck with brats . " Snake didn't pull out any weapons . He seemed to be the type to fight with his hands . His fingers to be exact, as he cracked them while taking a stance similar to a tiger's .

"Well then, as an elder you should take it easy on us . " Eric played with Snake . However, he didn't seem to like it too much, as he rushed towards them . Each one of them knew how dangerous this fight would . So, they all started going at a hundred percent from the get-go .

"Velocitas, Potentia Amplificato!" Alicia used the same technique from the tournament . But this time, she used it on all of them and not only herself . Everyone could feel that their speed and power increased due to this . Yet, even with this boost, the man's natural capabilities surpassed theirs . He seemed to be targeting Emilia as he closed in on her before she could escape .

Emilia conjured over twenty magic swords from both fire an ice . She thrust ten towards him while kept ten in front of her as a barrier . Obviously, the swords couldn't injure Snake but only served to slow him down . Before he could destroy all twenty, the others caught up to him . They still didn't manage to injure him, as he w blocking their attacks with his bare hands . He retaliated and sent Ellie and Alicia flying . Blood dripped from Ellie's mouth and nose and he hit her in the face . Alicia was hit in the stomach, but not as bad as Ellie .

"I'll take the charge, you guys support me," Griffin told them as they needed a solid fighting plan . He activated his QI, as well as Ren . Eric did the same . This was their trump card, as they were taught by Arthur himself . Ed had also recommended doing this to increase the power of Avalon .

Thanks to the previous boost, Griffin could now keep up with Snake . The latter couldn't keep blocking with hands, as Griffin's enhanced swords were injuring him . Thanks to the support from the others, they were pushing him back .

"Useless!" The man released a QI wave to push them back but failed . Seeing that he was in a sore spot, he seemed to activate something . The tip of his fingers started going purple . He thrust his hand toward the face of Griffin in an even greater speed than before .

"He's using Poison magic, be careful!" Emilia managed to identify what he was doing . Unfortunately, he managed to scratch Griffin's face . In an instant, his cheek started going purple . The poison was acting fast .

"Consano!" Alicia quickly made her way to heal Griffin . Snake tried to stop her, but Eric started taking him on . Alicia needed to use the same technique three times in order to fully dispel the poison . Eric, Emilia, and Ellie were now being pushed back . They needed to fight Snake while being careful not to get poisoned .

"Thank you, Miss Alicia . " Griffin thanked her as they both joined their companions again . The fight started heating up, with both sides getting injured . Alicia was working the hardest as she needed to heal anyone that got poisoned . She could truly feel how her training with Merry helped her .

As they were fighting, their attention was stolen by lightning like blows that sounded in the sky . They looked up to see Uther clashing with his opponent . Both of them were injured, but Uther seemed to have the upper hand . Next up, a frightening amount of QI was felt, which caused them to stop moving . Even Snake couldn't help but stop his fight to see what was causing this .

They looked towards Gobuta's battlefield to see his opponent missing an arm and a leg . Gobuta had an injury in his left arm but didn't seem to be deep . The origin of the QI seemed to be Gobuta, as a purple aura was surrounding him .

Gobuta was using both QI and Ren . His aura was blowing up more and more as it increased in size . His opponent couldn't help but shudder in fear, as he couldn't escape from the monster in front of him . Gobuta's aura seemed to reach the maximum size he wanted since it stopped . Slowly, it started to get infused into his sword . The entirety of the purple aura concentrated so much that it turned his sword black .

Gobuta descended, making his opponent just above him . Then, he put the sword above his head and swung it towards his opponent . "DIE!" Gobuta screamed while releasing the gigantic attack . His opponent couldn't do anything as the crescent slash consumed him . The slash continued its way until the sky, which seemed to be split after the attack . Gobuta smiled as he looked at his work, but then stopped . Only then he remembered that he lost the spatial ring along with the man .
