Shining bright in yellow

The haldi ceremony started early morning the next day as they were having two ceremonies today: haldi + sangeet.

This time, the ritual was being done at Sarita Aunty's house.

The house was void of every usual furniture; instead green and yellow veils suspended from the ceiling. And yellow and green flowers were put on a circle stand.
In front of the stand, there was two huge tray like objects. There were two stools in those trays where the groom and bride would be seated.
Red roses and yellow petals were placed on trays in front of their seats. And a white veil was put in between the trays to separate the groom from the bride.

The family members were busy attending the guests when the priest called the bride first.
Prachi was accompanied by Shahana. The beautiful bride was adorned in a dhoti styled yellow saree.
It had a golden belt attached to it and little green cotton balls suspended from it.
She had let her hair loose which hid her shoulders where the spaghetti straps of the blouse were.

Prachi hadn't put any accessories as the ladies would put the flowery ones on her as part of the ritual.

Shahana helped Prachi to get to her seat and the ladies were all praised of her natural beauty.

Pragya came to her and kissed her forehead emotionally.
Pragya: "My baby..."
Prachi hugged her by the waist and Pragya, lovingly, kissed her head once again.
Aryan: "It's not the time to get emotional, Aunty... it's time to celebrate."
Pragya nodded yes and wiped her tears away.

The priest asked Dida for the flowery jewelry. Dida signed Aryan who was overexcited by his father's side.
Dida: "Aryan, bring the box..."
Aryan: "Yes, yes... on its way..."

He took out a box and handed it to Dida.
The flowery jewelry consisted of two bangles, earrings, a head piece, a nose ring and a necklace. All of them had the same design and it was a combination of white, yellow and green.
