Chapter 56- Market.🌄

After what felt like an eternity, they finally reached the market and Niklaus parked him expensive car in a crowded carpark among cheaper second hand cars, he waltzed around to his sweethearts door and opened it, offering his hand to her so that she could clamber from her leather seat without flinching in pain.

As they walked hand in hand down the street, Klaus couldn't help but feel guilty, he had promised not to cause her any pain but she was clearly sore from last night's affairs.

''You are deep in thought" the gorgeous brunette to his left informed as she scrutinised his face warily, he looked regretful and that confused her.

''Not at all, I was just thinking about what we should get Elijah for Christmas" the blind male lied quickly.

''I was thinking cuff links. What do you think?" She questioned his suspicious still of his regret. Niklaus smiled happily at her and pulled her into an expensive jewellery store to their right. An older male stood behind the glass counter looking overtly joyous.

"How can I help you today?" He grinned a toothy grin at them and they couldn't help but grin in return.

''We're searching for cuff links for my brother for Christmas'' the hybrid informed happily and the man grinned boldly.

"I have a large collection for you to choose from" the man hobbled to a large glass cabinet behind him and produced a letter case, placing it upon the glass counter, he opened it, revealing many pairs of cuff links. Klaus wrapped his left arm around Bella's slim shoulders happily, Christmas shopping felt like such a normal thing to do, human and he loved it.

"What do you think Nik?" Bella inquired after a few minutes of starting at them.

"I'm thinking the gold ones, he usually wears silver so he won't have the gold already. " Niklaus informs Bella and she nods in agreement, Nik produces his wallet and Bella nodded in approval as he paid for the cuffs that were now neatly packaged by the old man.

"Thank you'' they grinned in sync and the man chuckled after watching the happy couple leave the store, hand in hand with Nik carrying the blue paper jewellery package.

"Where now?" Isabella asked her boyfriend after looking around for a few seconds. Klaus noticed a small cafe, tucked away in the corner but looking very welcoming.

"How about a little bit of brunch?" He questions, sounding more British than he intended. She laughed at him and then pulled him into the cafe which giggling happily.

''What can I do for you?" The middle aged red haired lady behind the till questions professionally and they soon ordered before sitting side by side in a little booth in the corner.

"What should we get Rebekah?" Nik asked looking cute and innocent as he played with the end of Bella's braided hair.

''I'm thinking shoes and for Caroline I'm thinking a new makeup kit, hers is trashed" Bella informed after thinking back to Caroline's makeup which was almost all good.

"Perfect. Now what about the Salvatore brothers?" Klaus questioned, more to himself then to her.

"I want to buy Stefan a new journal, it's a tradition me and him have, every year that we've been living together, we buy each other a new journal.''

"Great, I wanna buy Damon a stash of his own alcohol so he can stop nicking mine" Klaus laughed at thinking of how many times he'd caught the black haired Salvatore stealing his drinks.

"Perfect" Bella grinned when their food finally arrived...
