I walk into UP10TION's hang out or their hide out and see that what I figured that happened. I let out a breath, "I figured you idiots got into another fight again," I said They all had bruises and scratches, "Well we didn't start it," said Xiao, "Oh save it, I need to start charging you guys when you call me to clean and bandage your wounds," I tell them.
"Bitto will handle it," said Jinhoo, Bitto just looks at him. "Not just ChangHyun all of you," I tell him. I get out my first aid kit and started with Xiao and made my way up to Bitto, I started by using some alcohol wipes, "Ow easy," he tells me, "Sorry," I said to him, I just kept on doing what I was doing. My heart was beating fast, Bitto is my childhood friend and over the years we still have a strong bond even though we have different passions. But over the years I have developed feelings for him but I don't think I can ever tell him, "So are you going to the party this weekend?" He asked me.
"Maybe why?" I asked him, "Well just asking because I know you don't get out much," he says to me. I then put pressure on his cut, "OWW _______!" He yelled. "Oops sorry," I said I didn't really mean it. "Sure you are," he says to me. I stick my tongue at him, I finish cleaning and bandaging his wounds, "Done," I tell him. "Thanks," he said and then he laid his head down on my lap, he always does it nothing new. "My god can you two stop being all lovey dovey and just marry already," said Gyujin. I blushed, "What are you getting at Gyujin?" Bitto asked him.
Gyujin sits up, "Simple you guys act all loving around each other, we wonder if you guys are secretly dating or not. So come on tell the truth we are all friends here," Gyujin asked. Before I can say anything Bitto beat me to it, "We are not dating, not now not ever. We are just childhood friends who have a good bond and are comfortable around each other, You honestly think we have feelings for each other? We don't. I don't like her that way, and she does not like me that way, and we never will. Right _____?" he said and then asked me.
I felt my heart break, well now I know the truth. I held back my tears, "Yeah we don't," I said trying to sounds normal, "See," said Bitto. I felt uncomfortable and hurt I need to get out, I then push him off of me and he fell to the ground, "Hey I was comfortable," he says to me. I grab my kit and put it in my bag, I look at him. "I'm not a pillow and besides I got a go and do homework," I tell him. "Well let me walk you home," he says to me. I put my bag over my shoulder, "I can walk home by myself I don't need you to walk me home," I tell him and then I leave.
As I step out the door, I started walking and then crying, I should have figured but that really hurt.

I just look at the door confused, was she mad? What did I do? "Is she alright?" ask Kuhn "I don't know," said Jinhyuk, "Was it something I said?" I ask, "Who knows but she seems upset," said Wooseok, "Maybe I should follow her, I don't trust her going by herself," I said getting up. "woah dude right now I say let her be she seems upset," said Sunyeol. "But that's why I'm worried when she's upset it makes me worried," I tell him. "You sure you don't love her?" asked Hwanhee. I look at him, "I do love her as my friend," I tell him, "Yeah right," said Xiao. I look at him, "I'm serious," I tell him. "Okay calm down, but right now dude leave her be just talk to her at school tomorrow," said Jinhoo. "Fine," said and sat down on the couch, I then get out my phone and texted her.

I stare at my phone while laying on my bed, "I'm just being stupid but," I said and put a hand over my heart. "It still hurts," I said. I didn't reply and just went to sleep.
School

I was by my locker grabbing a few things that I need while talking to Hayi (Lee Hi). "Wow," she said after I told her everything what happened. "Yeah," I said "Does he not seem to care or ask if you like him that way?" she ask me. "No," I said. "You okay?" she ask me. "It hurts but I'll be okay I just don't want to be around him today," I tell her. I take a sip of my drink, "Well going to be hard to avoid because here he comes," she tells me. Before I can even shut my locker I felt a arm around my shoulder, "Hey I been looking for you, you left in a hurry, when I was about to get off my bike your mom told me you already left," said Bitto.
"Oh sorry I wanted to go return some books to the library," I tell him. I really don't be around him right now, "Can I have a sip?" he asked. I just gave it to him, "Thanks," he said. He took a sip, "Hey wear something nice to the party okay," He tells me. I look at him, "Why?" I ask him. "Because I don't want you to wear something embarrassing," he tells me in a joking matter, I then slapped his stomach really hard.
"Oww that hurt!" He tells me, "jerk," I said and I grab Hayi hand and we walked to class, "HEY _____!" Yelled Bitto, I ignored him. "Calm down," Hayi told me and we kept on going.
Lunch
I was sitting with Hayi and our other friends talking when I decided to get up and went go get a drink from the vending machine, when Haneul came up to me. "Hey ______," he said. "Hi," I said grabbing my can, "Soo are you going to the party this weekend?" He asked me. "Debating why?" I ask him. "Well I was wondering if you would like to come with me?" He ask me. Before I can say anything I felt an arm around my shoulders, "she's not going with you," said a voice it was Bitto.
I look at him, "She's going with me," said Bitto. I froze, "oh is she your girlfriend?" Ask Haneul, before I can say anything again Bitto beat me to it, "no she's my friend and I won't allow her to go with a guy like you," he tells Haneul, I then push him off of me. "Who says I'm going with you? And what gives you the right to tell me who to go with?" I ask Bitto. He just looks surprised, "wow see dude," said Haneul. And I turn to look at him, "and I'm not going with you either I'm not going with any guy I don't know if I do want to go anymore, so the both of you can go find someone else," I tell them and I walk away.
After school
I got home and went into my room to change out of my uniform, I opened a drawer and got out a baggy shirt and shorts. When I started changing when I heard a whistle, I turned around it was Bitto, he was standing in my room it wasn't new for him to come in from my window but I am in my uniform shirt and no skirt.
I was about to scream but he covered my mouth with his hand, and we fell on my bed. "Don't scream I don't want the neighbors to hear," he tells me. Right now I'm the only one home. He then removes his hand and we just looked at each other, "Umm your window was unlocked and so I Umm," he said. He was trying not to look down, I pushed him off of me. "Turn around and close your eyes asshole!" I tell him and he does what I said.
"What were you thinking about going through my window?" I ask him getting changed, "you are mad at me so that means you won't answer my texts or calls and not only that I know you won't answer the door. So the window is my last choice," he tells me. I finally finished getting dressed, "turn around now," I tell him, he did.
It was awkward he saw me basically naked, "what do you want?" I ask him, "well umm why are so mad at me?" He ask me. "What makes you think that?" I ask him, "you hit me in the stomach really hard and then get all mad at me and then saying you won't go to the party with me, so what's up?" He ask me.
I was nervous I grab some of my hair and started playing with it, "you're playing with your hair something is bothering you tell me?" He ask me. My heart was beating fast but I have to say something close to my feelings, "do you really just see me as a friend and nothing else?" I ask him. He then just looks at me, "well yeah of course I do why?" He ask me.

He then grabs my hands, "I'll still go with you to the party and dance with you," he tells me. I get out of his hold, "you really think that will make things better? And I never agreed to go to the party with you, why me? You can go with any of other girl," I tell him.
"I just want to take you, your my best friend and you deal with me and the guys bullshit all the time and well," he said, then his phone that must have fell out of his pocket went off with a text it was on the ground. I grab it before he could and he looked nervous.
Lila: Hey ChangHyun so is it true that you are taking _____ to the party? I'm sorry that I refused your offer I'm willing to take it just tell her you asked someone else.
I look at him and he got nervous, "you were going to use me to make Lila, the girl that has a rep for being a bitch jealous? So that's why you told Haneul I was going with you, did you tell every guy that thought about going with me?" I ask him. He got nervous, "______ I," he said. I gave him, his phone. More tears fell, "save it I'm done with you, and your bullshit, take her I don't care because I'm done. I'm done with taking care of you, I'm done with getting my hopes up with you. I'm done Lee ChangHyun, I want you out of my life now go!" I tell him.
"______," he said. "Go NOW!" I yelled the last part, he nodded and walked over to the window and left. I then fell to the ground and started crying my eyes out.

I was walking with Jennie I told what happened and once I got to my locker I started to open it. "So he's history you are done with him?" She ask me. "I'm done with him for good no matter what he does on trying to make me forgive him it won't work," I tell her. I open my locker and see my favorite seaweed snack, it's been my favorite since I was a kid and only one person knows I like it.
There was a note on it.

I look annoyed, "you want these Jennie?" I ask her. "From him?" She asked. "Yep," I answered. "Give them here," she said and she took them, I then saw UP10TION not that far and Bitto was looking Jennie took out a strip of seaweed when she opened the packet and ate it. "Thanks!" She said out loud. I grab my things I needed for class and shut my locker and left with Jennie.
But it didn't stop with the seaweed.
Gym
I was out of breath from running when Bitto came up to me, he had my favorite drink. "I got you this," he tells me. "I.....don't....want it," I tell him trying to catch my breath. I then started to walk away when I lost my footing he caught me, "you alright?" He ask me, "go away," I tell him, I was so tired he took me to the bench to sit down. He opened up the drink and put a straw in it, "drink it," he tells me.
I have no choice I took a sip of the drink, "you always get like this when you are out of breath you lose footing or get dizzy. Thought you grew out of that in middle school," he tells me. "Why do you always do this?" I ask him. "Do what?" He ask, "bringing up the past, every time I'm mad at you, you bring up the past why?" I ask him. "Because those were the best time spending time with you, the person who has been on my side for so long, who has looked out for me and-The same person you were using to make a girl jealous," I said interrupting him.

"Guys I don't know," I said to my friends, "come on it will be alright," said Jisoo "yeah try and have some fun," said Lisa. Rose locked arms with me. And Hayi lead us in to the house where the party is being held. We went to the backyard where everyone was at, I look around and saw UP10TION, Xiao saw me and his jaw dropped, he then told the guys I guess. Bitto looks at me and he dropped his drink, the girls dragged me and we went and danced.
A while later the host called everyone around the drink area apparently we were all going to play a game of never have I ever but if we have done the thing we take a shot. So far I was in the clear until the host said, "Never have I ever fell in love with my best friend," he said. Shit well I can't avoid it, I grab a shot glass and took the shot. "Wow ______ did you ever tell them?" Ask the host. "I did but I got rejected," I tell him.
"Wow asshole," said a girl. Then another glass was put down it was Bitto, what the? "You too Bitto?" Ask someone. "I recently realized it the moment I lost them," he said and he looks straight at me. I avoid his stare Jennie rub my arm giving me comfort. "Okay the next one is Never have I ever kissed my best friend," he said.
Fuck! I took another shot and so did Bitto, "wow what's the story?" Ask a girl. "A stupid middle school mistake," I tell her. "Really a stupid mistake I remember correctly you were the one who was willing to kiss me," said Bitto, I look at him pissed off, "you were the one asking me for a week to kiss you, I only did it so you would shut up!" I tell him. Everyone was shocked, "wait so you two kissed?" Ask someone. "Yes and I will forever regret doing it," I said and walked away.
A bit later I was by the pool I told the girls to go have fun and not worry about me, I didn't want to ruin their fun. When I felt a tap on my shoulder it was Kuhn, "you look like you need someone to talk too," he said. He then sat down next to me, "tell me I'm your friend you can rant to me," he tells me. "It's ChangHyun, he won't back off," I tell him.
"Well he realized how much he misses you and that he messed up," he tells me. "Well I'm done with him okay I don't want to deal with him anymore," I tell him. "Really he's been in your life since you two were in diapers, you know each other so well you are willing to drop the one person that will be by your side forever?" He ask me. I sat there, "this is reality not a drama," I tell him.
He just stares at me, I don't look at him. "So you guys really kissed?" He asked me. I let out a breath, "yes but it was just a quick peck that's all and we both agreed to never talk about it again," I tell him. "Is that when you realized you liked him?" He ask me. I started messing with my hair, "yeah and now look he rejected me and now he's saying he does have feelings for me, bullshit," I said. "He's not bullshiting, he really does he just realized it the moment he lost you," he tells me.
"Yeah right I don't by it," I said. "Okay but I'm just telling you, you are my friend," he tells me. "Thanks Kuhn," I said to him. Then someone was next to him it was Bitto, "Hyung What are you doing?" Ask Bitto, "I was just talking to ______, what's wrong jealous?" Kuhn ask him. "Yes very," Bitto tells him. Then Kuhn smirked, "then be jealous of this," said Kuhn and then Kuhn kisses my cheek and stands up and runs. "HYUNG!" Yelled Bitto. I was in shock but then I look at Bitto I stand up and stop him.
"Don't he's just playing you know him," I said to Bitto. "But he," he said. "Stop it right now," I tell him. He stop but he was still mad, he then looks at me, "What," I ask him. "You're wearing make-up," he said. I did it was just simple look with foundation a little blush and some cherry lipgloss I didn't bother with my eyes. "Yeah," I said. "You usually don't wear make-up," he tells me. "It's just a little, why?" I ask. "I don't like it, other guys will be staring at you," he tells me.
I rolled my eyes, and he looks at me up and down. "Your outfit I also don't like it," he tells me. "Why are you so worried about my clothes and make-up? It's my body, and you are not my boyfriend," I tell him. "I just don't want other guys to look at you," He tells me. "Why does it matter to you like I said you are not my boyfriend, I can do whatever I want. And what I want right now is to walk away from you," I tell him.
I began to walk away when he grab my wrist and pulled me into a kiss. I push him off of me, "You!" I said and couldn't finish what I was saying, I just walked away I found the girls and told them I was heading home.
Home
Once I got home I took a shower and changed into a long short sleeve baggy shirt and my Pj pants, as I was brushing my wet hair I heard taping on my window. I look and there was ChangHyun, I walk over and open it. "Go away," I tell him, "But I want to talk," he tells me. "I'm done talking to you after tonight," I tell him, "I'm sorry okay I was not thinking when I kissed you," he tells me.
"Then why did you do it?" I ask him, "Because I wanted too," He tells me. I just look at him, "Can we please just talk and let me in, I might fall from this tree soon," he tells me. I move out of the way and he stepped into my room and sees that my hair is still wet. "You still walk around with your hair wet, you know you can sick," he tells me. He then walks into my bathroom and gets a towel and starts drying my hair, I felt my heart beating fast.
I then move away, "I can dry my hair myself," I tell him walking away, he then wraps his arms around me. "Please don't walk away from me," he tells me. I didn't know what to say, he then kisses my shoulder, "I'm sorry for everything, for not appreciating you as much as I should, I'm sorry for flirting with other girls in front of you, I'm sorry for rejecting your feelings I'm sorry for everything and being a shitty friend," he tells me.
I still didn't say anything, he then turned me around and made me look at him. "I want to be more then just your childhood friend. I really do," he tells me. He then leans in and his lips land on mine, I then closed my eyes and rested my hands on his chest and kissed him back.
We then look at each other, he then takes one of my hands and puts it where his heart is. I felt it beating, "I do love you, I mean it the minute I lost you, I realize that I love you more then as a friend. So please give me this chance," he tells me.
I look at him and look at my hand that rest where his heart rest. I then nodded my head yes, he smiles and picks me up, "ChangHyun put me down," I tell him. He then put me on my bed and he was on top of me, he brushed some of my hair out of my face and lean in and kissed me again. I wrap my arms around his neck. I feel so happy I have my best friend who is now my boyfriend.
