You're P.O.V
It was thundering and raining hard outside but I didn't care right now I am sitting on my best friend's lap and kissing him, he stops kissing me and makes me look at him. "Is everything okay?" Ask Minsu. "Yeah why?" I asked him "because you are taking the lead usually you let me. The only time you take the lead is if something is wrong," he said. He knows me too well, ever since we were kids. I hid my face in his shoulder, "He's been hanging out with that Becky girl a lot I think I don't have a chance anymore," I tell him.
"I see," he said. We were talking about a guy I like for a long time we have spoken and hanged out but things changed in high school when I told him how I felt and well.....
Flashback
I was crying on the rooftop at school sitting on the ground, when I heard the door open and close. "______!" Someone Said. I look up it was Minsu. "What happened are you okay?" He asked me. I got up and ran to him and cried into his chest, "hug me please," I say to him. He does. After crying for a while we sit back down. "Now tell me what happened," he said. "I told James I liked him and he said he didn't feel the same way and that we should stay as friends," I tell him. I started crying more, "when I thought there was someone that actually liked me it blow up in my face I'm a fucking idiot. Love is fucking stupid," I cried.
I kept on crying until Minsu grab my chin and made me look at him, he then kissed me. I didn't move my eyes widened, he stopped and looks down. "Hey if you want you can use me as a substitute until you finally find love. You can use me for anything as long as it makes you happy," he tells me. I was shock, "I can't do that," I tell him. "It's okay you're my best friend and it's my job to find a way to make you happy and so I give you my body," he tells me. "Minsu what about the girl you like?" I asked him.
He had a crush on a girl for a long time he won't tell me who she is or what she looks like. So why give himself to me? He looks up and smiles at me. "She's in love with someone else," he tells me.
End of flashback.
That was four years ago, we are now in our second year of college and have been doing this friends with benefits thing in secret for a long time. And I always feel guilty for using Minsu. I want to get over James, "Minsu can I sleep here tonight?" I asked him. "Yes you can I do have some of your clothes here from last time," he tells me. He then makes me looks at him and leans in and kisses me, I kiss him back he carry's me from the couch and we go to his bedroom.
The next day
I was walking around campus minding my own business when I saw James walking with Becky. I decided to keep on walking and just ignore them, but then they saw me. "Oh _____ hey," Said James "hi," I Said. "You by yourself?" He asked. "No I'm with my friend Casper," I tell him. He just awkwardly laughed and Becky rolled her eyes, "anyway um are you doing anything this weekend?" He asked me. "No not really might hang with Minsu," I tell him. "Oh then well there's a party happening on Friday night at Lee's place why don't you bring Minsu along," he tells me. Before I can say anything felt a arm wrapped around my shoulder.
"Sure we will go," Said a familiar voice it was Minsu, I looked at him then back at James and Becky. Becky stared at Minsu like she wanted to eat him, "oh great then," Said James. "Wait I didn't," I Said "we will see you then," Said Minsu interrupted me. And drags me away, "asshole what the hell I don't want to go you know party's aren't my thing," I tell him. "I know but come on you been depressed lately so why not we won't stay long and I won't leave your side okay," he tells me. "Promise?" I ask him. He smiles, "I promise," he said.
He then takes me somewhere behind a tree and kisses me. I kiss him back, my heart is beating fast it's been doing that a lot with Minsu, anytime he touches me, holds me, or kisses me. I think I do love him but I know he doesn't feel the same.

Minsu kept his word and stayed with me, I wasn't really having fun at all. We been here for only a hour and already I want to leave, "Minsu can we go?" I ask him. "Just a little longer okay," he tells me. I look at him with sad eyes, he smiles at me. "I'll make it up too you okay I promise," He Said "Okay," I Said. "Hey is it okay if I leave you alone just for a bit I need to go to the restroom," he said "yeah," I Said. "Okay I'll be right back," he said and he left. I was just standing there leaning on the fence with my drink in hand, when I felt a tap on my shoulder it was James.
"Hey um can I talk to you?" He asked "Sure what's up?" I asked. "Well um I was wondering are you and Minsu dating?" He asked. "No we aren't why?" I asked, "Listen Becky and me apparently aren't working out, and she had been asking about Minsu since she saw him. So can you maybe ask Minsu about going on a date with her, and I'll go out on a date with you," He tell me. Is he serious? He has to be joking, "you want me to set up my best friend with your girlfriend pretty much and you go out with me?" I Said to him. "Yeah since you like me and all," he said.
"No!" I said. He looks at me surprised, "what?" He asked. "No I'm not going to set up Minsu with your girlfriend because she saw him once, and I'm not going out with you," I tell him. "But don't you like me?" He asked. "I use to but now I realize that I like someone else, someone who has been by my side since day one," I tell him. "Do you like Minsu?" He asked. Do I ? My heart beats every time he touches me, I notice I get jealous when another girl is around him. I believe I do. "Yes I do," I Said.
And then I walk away to find Minsu, he was gone for a long time. I went inside and went near the restroom, and I saw him with Becky. I saw them talking, I stood by a plant and listened. "So what do you say?" She ask. "I say fuck off," he said. She was shocked, "what?" She asked, "I said fuck off I'm not interested in you. I'm in love with someone else," he tells her. My heart was beating fast scared who it was. "Who that ______ girl?" She asked. "Yes her I have been in love with her for a long time, but she was in love with someone else." He tells her.
I covered my mouth and with my hands, he was in love with me? I'm such a idiot for not realizing it. Becky had a nasty look on her face, "What's so great about her?" She asked. "She's beautiful, kind, loving, and overall a amazing person," he tells her. I smiled, "but she likes someone else?" She reminds him. "Yeah I know that but as long as I can stay by her side that's all I care about," he tells her. He then started to walk away then he turns my way his eyes widened.
"______ did you hear all that?" He asked me. I nodded my head, we just looked at each other and then I walked up to him and leaned in and kiss him. He kisses back, we then look at each other. "Why didn't you tell me?" I ask him. "Because you liked someone else so that's why," he tells me. "But you could have told me the day James rejected me, but instead you tell me, I can use you why?" I asked. "To be honest with you it was for my own selfish desires. To me it was the only way I can be more then a friend to you," he tells me.
"You idiot I love you," I tell him. His eyes widened, "as a friend?" He asked. "No," I tell him. He was silent "but I thought," he said. "I realize I love you dummy, you make my heart skip a beat, I feel safe in your arms. You love me for who I am and I love you for who you are," I tell him. He smiles and kisses me again, we separated and lean out foreheads together. "Let's get out of here," he said. I smiled and nodded my head. He took my hand in his and then we leave together.
