The remaining lesson I spent thinking about Mack. Halfway through I felt a slight urge in my bladder and weed a bit. Right after that I was called to the blackboard, but after hesitating for a moment I didn't mind. Mr. Williams had said it wasn't noticeable and even if: Mack gave me the confidence to pull through. I knew he had my back. If only he was here. I would've loved to just lay in bed with him or on grass or even gravel. It wouldn't have mattered. I just wanted to lay my head on his big chest and listen to his heartbeat. I texted him:

"Been thinking about you, I miss you :x"

"miss u 2"

"Can we talk on the phone tonight?"

"i have to hand in my phone when home :-("

"I guess you could call me tomorrow during lunch break"

"true but when will u be back?"

"WED, maybe late TUE :("

"noo, i rally got 2 talk 2 u bout sth", Mack mentioned out of the blue and got me curious.

"What is it?"

"cant text"

"How about I excuse myself from class for a pee break and call you? :)"

"no, need 2 tell u in peace! 2 bad :-("

"You gotta tell me Mackie! Something wrong with you?"

"day after tomorrow, sry"

"I'm worried... :("

"no need 2 :-) njoy your trip :-x"

"k, but know what? :)"

"of course not ;-)"

"I'll call your Mom tonight and ask her to hand you the phone :)"

"that could work, lookin fwd to it!"

"Me too :x"

Suddenly the school bell rang and startled me out of my conversation with Mack. Yeah, we had finished anyway, but there was still a lot going through my head. Mack wanted to tell me something and now of all times he insisted it be done in person. My thoughts ranged from running off together to him breaking up with me already. I suddenly felt sick.

"Hey, dreamer, school's out!", Jenny told me and snapped with her fingers. A spurt of pee escaped into the padding.

"Oh, I'm sorry", I returned and tried to get up from my chair, but I noticed my knees felt weak and sat back down. I leaked again, but not much.

"Lyz, you look pale. Are you alright?"

"I guess..."

"Should I get the nurse?", she asked worried.

"What? No, I'm okay", I assured her, but still felt sick.

"Have you...have you had another accident?", she whispered to my ear looking quizzical.

"I'm fine, thank you", I answered and kissed her on the cheek to show my appreciation for her concerns. Then I finally got up. I was still a bit shaky, but managed to overplay it. But with every step I made, I noticed my nervous bladder leaked a drop.

"You're welcome, bestie. Is something bothering you?"

"I don't want to go on that stupid trip"

"You don't want her to get a job?"

"Of course, but I miss HIM"

"Oh, I see"
