"Well. The first thing to go is this Purple interior." Logan said as he pointed around the inside of the car.

"Seriously?!" Lennon responded. 'I paid a fortune to have that customised. Why don't you use seat covers?! You're breaking my heart, man."

"Don't touch the interior." Merrick responded. "I hold an interest in this car and I...like it."

"Come. On. Paa! I can't drive around with deep purple seats! Oh my God, it's got purple alloys on the wheels, what the heck man." Logan said.

"Style Logan, style." Lennon said.

"Nate! Come on fella, back me up here!" Logan called.

"S'up?" Nathan said as he walked up.

"Paa 'n Lenn say I gotta keep the purple seats and alloys." Logan complained.

"Well, I do recall Lenn sayin' one of the conditions of the discount was that you weren't to amend the car. Anyway, you're buyin' it off Lenn... it's gonna be Purple. I like it." Nathan said.

"You're crazy. Like he's crazy." Logan said.

"Hey, ain't Martyn out here?" Nathan asked.

"Nah, he's in the house." Lennon said.

"Yeah, he ain't in a good mood dude." Logan said.

"Yeah, there's some trouble back home." Lennon said.

"Oh? I kinda thought he was mad at you." Nathan said. "When he was down makin' himself some toast, and I was in the fridge and asked if he wanted the jam for yours, and he said that you can make your own expletive toast. Kinda a sign."

Lennon's right eye narrowed as he had wondered why Chéri hadn't made him any toast in the morning. "Nah, nah, it's because... he is upset over things happening back in Spain and he's sad to leave here. I'll go talk to him, cause he's gotta start makin' preps to fly back to Europe."

Monique opened the door and called out. "Lenn! Can I have a word?"

"Sure, Momma!" He called back. "The purple. Stays." He added before he left for the house.

Once in the house, they were alone in a side room when his mother turned to him. "Sweetheart, you and Chéri are arguing, why?"

"Ohh, it's a long story. Kinda hard to explain." Lennon said, staring at the floor.

"You've done something to upset him, haven't you? I can see guilt all over you, my little boy."

"Well, yeah." Lennon said, speechless as he stared at the floor.

"You've got to fix it. I can see how much he loves you, and now he's up in his room alone. While everyone's outside, you need to smooth things over with him! How can you propose to him if you fly back upset with each other! Did this fight start last night?"

Lennon looked visibly uncomfortable. "Yes, Momma."

"And you let it go to this morning? Me and your father have a rule. Never let the sun set on an unhappy heart, and that rule has guided us through the decades! And is one of the keys to our happy marriage."

"Momma, it's not like I can spend any time around him."

"Lennon, make this right. I love Chéri and I accept him as my son in law, even though I never thought I would ever have a son in law."

"Okay, momma. I'll go talk to him."

"Anyway, uncle Rick wants to come round later." She said.

"What?! Why?" Lennon asked.
