"I think you've done amazing, Martyn!" Monique said, highly impressed as Lennon walked Into the room. "Look what Martyn's done with makeup!"

Lennon looked around nervously. "What's he done...?" Lennon asked, hoping that Chéri hadn't dived into a makeup box and bathed in it, in front of everyone.

"He made up Jenelle like a pro!"

Lennon covered his forehead in shock as he noticed Logan walk out of the room shaking his head.

Chéri skipped up to Lennon, "What do ya think, Lenster?"

Lennon grabbed Chéri's arm and pulled him away. When they reached a quiet area he turned to Chéri, "Cher! What the hell! I turn my back for five seconds and you go do some gay shit!"

Chéri looked back in shock, "'Gay... shit'?!"

Lennon rolled his eyes, "You don't understand! There are some members of my family that are just..."

He paused as they heard the front door open up. "Hey, Monn Sweetheart! Everyone! We're home!" Came a warm, affectionate voice with a thick southern accent.

Monique, who was chatting to Logan, quickly put her cup down and hurried to the reception room where Lennon's father Merrick, stood in a thick coat lined with sheepskin wool, with Nathan behind him carrying large planks of wood.

Lennon's father was another massive man of around six foot four and had a big-hearted, larger than life personality and prominent comedic timing.

He had piercing blue Lapis Lazuli eyes, slightly greying blonde hair and it was easy to see where Lennon came from when looking at him. They shared the exact same big smile, glazy doe eyes and shared all the same mannerisms.

They even dressed the same, wearing baggy, quilted clothes and cargo trousers with a thick flannel and a hooded, lumberjack shirt.

He had pulled the small clear mask down his face, to his neck. The clear airlines attached to his mask went over his shoulder and into the small medical backpack, which held his oxygen tanks.

Merrick towered over Lennon's mother as she threw her arms around his wide and broad shoulders to give him his usual welcome home kiss. Merrick leant down and wrapped his arms around Monique's waist, tipping her backwards as he kissed her.

After their romantic kiss. Monique smiled up at her husband. "Guess who's finally here?"

"Hmm, ohh don't tell me! Old Maurice has finally decided to man up and face me! I'll get my shotguns! I been waitin' some thirty years for this!" He joked.

"I know! You've been saying that for nearly thirty years." Monique joked.

"Momma, is your first husband even still alive? Paa said he was quite a bit older than you." Logan asked.

"Well, that marriage was a bad mistake. I was too young. Anyway, I don't know if he's still around. Most of his family stopped talking to me after I served him with divorce papers, and as far as I know, he left Quebec and went back to Paris."

"See son, I ran him clean outta town." Merrick said.

"Didja punch him, Paa?" Nathan asked excitedly.

"Yep! Right in the mouth! His arrogant French accent used to really get on my nerves! He had a real attitude problem and was annoyed all the time. The last time I saw him was outside divorce court. He was nearly on his knees begging your momma not to divorce him. I told him to leave her alone cause she said no and he wouldn't accept it. He kept saying 'shut up, electrician' to me, so I socked him in the face, then told him imma auto mechanic... by trade."
