In the main selection room, Lennon looked at proceedings with a mixture of shock and disbelief, "Well, I'm speechless. I guess I've never lusted after anything enough to sink to this level. "

"Why do you say that? If you had met me through this, would you not keep coming back? Even if, just to curry my favour and get me to stop? I know you! No matter where you met me you would pursue me and wouldn't rest until I was yours, as you did. You just need to let go of your last mental barriers and blocks and embrace total sexual freedom. " Chéri said.

"It sounds like a religion. " Lennon said.

"It is, Lenny. This is the religion of the orgasm. Here, we worship what's between the legs daily and the nicest thing you can do for someone is make them orgasm." Chéri said.

"I don't know what to say. This is all unhygienic and immoral." Lennon said.

"Lighten up, Lenny! We also have an in-house doctor who tests everyone monthly and sorts out cosmetic surgery, and terminations at a private hospital nearby." Chéri said.

Lennon turned to Chéri, "Terminations?! You mean abortions?"

"Yes. Condoms do break and girls do fuck around with boyfriends and get into trouble. But there hasn't been one in over a year and a half, but I know a strong candidate for the next." Chéri said.

"You people are in the business of killing unborn babies?!" Lennon said.

"Lenny, it's been legal in this country since twenty-sixteen."

Lennon raised his voice, "I don't care!"

Chéri whispered, "Lenny! Keep it down!"

Lennon continued to raise his voice. "No, I won't! That's sick, wrong and immoral to offer that casually to desperate women!"

"Lenny! People are starting to look!"

"Let them look! Please tell me you've never suggested that as a solution." Lennon said.

"Me?! I don't have anything to do with those decisions! It's their mistake, they ask the doctor for it. I just know it's the way the system works." Chéri explained.

Lennon bent slightly and pointed in Chéri's face as he spoke, "You do know I was unplanned! My parents had to get married as quick as they could when they learnt I was on my way. Should I have been murdered?!"

Chéri looked up at Lennon and could see how strongly he felt about it, "Of course not, Lenny." Chéri said as he rubbed Lennon's back.

"What about Adeline? Why is she here then?" Lennon asked.

"Because mom is like you, and she talked everyone round, and because a man here stepped forward to take care of her because my brother wouldn't." Chéri answered.

"Chéri, this is a topic that..." Lennon said before he shook his head.

"What?!" Chéri asked.

Lennon stared at the floor, "That we may separate over."

"Ohh wait! Hold on! Just cause I told you the doctor sorts it out? You'd leave me over that?!" Chéri said.

Madam Dolores walked up behind Lennon hearing the raised voices, with Ms König by her side.

"Chéri, I love you more than anything, but..." Lennon paused a moment and changed track, "Look, I'll never be a father, that's just the way the chips fell for me but I love babies, and a decision like that can't be taken lightly, and shouldn't be routine!"

"I agree." Madam Dolores said from behind Lennon, startling him slightly. "But now that you have spoken that. To stop you leaving my Chéri, what are your proposals for an alternative?"
