Chapter 66: Adrien talk to Luka

At the park, Adrien sits on the fountain for his photo shoot with Miguel as his photographer.

Miguel: Okay, Adrien, we're doing your summer photoshoot, you ready?

Adrien: Yes. *But he sees Luka sitting on a bench.* Uh, can you give me a minute? I gotta talk to a friend.

Miguel: Okay. But be quick.

Adrien: Okay. *He goes up to Luka.* Hey, Luka.

Luka: Oh, hey, Adrien.

Adrien: Listen, there's something I wanna tell you.

Luka: Okay? What's up? *He put his guitar down and Adrien sit next to Luka.*

Adrien: I wanna say... I'm sorry.

Luka: Sorry for what?

Adrien: I'm sorry for what I almost did to you and Marinette.

Luka: That was a while ago, we forgot about that.

Adrien: I know, but I felt guilty for what I did to you guys. I guess you could say I was just jealous of how close you two were. And when you two started dating, I guess it triggered me to break you two up.

Luka: We kinda knew that, you just couldn't admit it.

Adrien: You kinda sound like Plagg when I can't admit stuff like that.

Plagg: You got that right. And I'm still right.

Adrien: Anyway, I know what I did was stupid and ridiculous, I just wanted to scare Marinette, but I realized it was stupid. When she told me she was in love with me, I took it the wrong way. I told her I'm in love with someone else, that was Ladybug. But when I saw her de-transform, I had some regrets.

Luka: You fell in love with her because she's Ladybug?

Adrien: Something like that. But I didn't know she was Ladybug. You would've done the same.

Luka: No I wouldn't. Because unlike you, I see the real deal. You can't fall in love with a superhero if you don't know who that person is. If I were you, I would see the reality. That's something Marinette would want from you.

Adrien: I get it. And I realize that now... she has someone special. And that's you. I'm sorry for what I almost caused you two. I know you don't want to be friends anymore for what I did and I don't blame you. *He starts to look sad.*

Luka: Well thank you for the apology. I'll think about it though. Also, it's not just you who should apologize, Chloé and Lila should apologize too. They're the ones you were siding with you on trying to split me and Marinette up.

Adrien: I know. They'll listen to me. I think I should be the bigger person and accept it, Marinette is my friend and I should accept it.

Luka: I appreciate it. Hopefully, it'll work out. And uh, you might apologize to Plagg. *He gets Plagg out.*

Adrien: I'm sorry, Plagg. I'm sorry I let my jealousy and rage cause you to renounce my miraculous to Luka.

Plagg: It's okay. Just don't let it happen again.

Adrien: I promise. I better go. I have a photo shoot to do.

Luka: Cool. See ya.

Adrien: Bye. *Luka walk away, Adrien sighed and he go back to Miguel and start the photoshoot.*

Plagg: Well that went well.

Luka: Sorta.

Plagg: Are you gonna forgive him after everything that he's done?

Luka: It's gonna take time to forgive him, I'm not gonna do it instantly. Baby steps.

Plagg: Okay. *He goes back into Luka's pocket and Luka keeps walking.*
