"Nope." He said. We then turned our attention back to the tv. After a little bit, I started to get worried.

"Why isn't Rose back yet? It's been, like, an hour." I asked and said.

"I don't know. Do you want to give her a call?" Shawn asked. I nodded and when I called her, it went straight to voicemail.

"It went straight to voicemail." I said. Shawn frowned.

"Let me try calling her." He said, and pulled out his phone as I got off of his lap.

"Okay." I said. He tried calling her.

"It went straight to voicemail for me too." Shawn said, and my heartbeat picked up.

"Let's call my mom and see if she walked to her house." I said. Shawn nodded.

"Hi sweetie." My mom said.

"Hi, is Rose with you?" I asked.

"No, why?" She asked.

"Crap. She went for a walk and when we call her phone it goes straight to voicemail." I said.

"Okay. She's probably fine. If she shows up, I'll give you a call." My mom said.

"Okay, thank you." I said.

"No problem. Bye." My mom said. I hung up and looked at Shawn.

"Rose isn't with her, but she said that she would call me if Rose shows up at her house. What do we do Shawn?" I asked. Shawn put his hand on my back and pulled me close to him.

"We'll find her, everything will be okay. I'm going to drive around town and see if I can spot her." Shawn said. I nodded.

"Okay. I love you." I said. Shawn pecked my lips with a kiss before he stood up.

"I love you too." He said as he put his shoes on.

"Keep in touch please." I said. He nodded.

"I will. I'll be back." He said. I nodded, and he left.

Shawn's point of view

I drove around town, hoping to spot my eldest daughter, Rose. She had gone out for a walk and it had been almost two hours. Whenever my wife or I tried to call her, it went straight to voicemail. I drove through the center of town, but had no luck. I was taking a right onto another street and just happened to look over at a pizza place when I saw my daughter walking out carrying two pizza boxes. I pulled into the parking lot and jumped out. Rose looked surprised to see me.

"Where the heck have you been?" I asked, trying to watch my language.

"I told you guys, I went for a walk." She said.

"Well your mother and I have been trying to call you and you haven't been answering." I said. Rose pulled her phone out and tried to press a button.

"It's dead. I'm sorry Daddy. I didn't mean to worry you and Mom." She said. I sighed and nodded.

"Okay. Meimei lives right down the street, why didn't you just go to her house and call us from her phone?" I asked. She thought for a moment before shrugging.

"I don't know. I didn't think of it, I guess." She said. I nodded.

"Okay. Let's get in the car and go home." I said. She nodded and hopped in my jeep, JBone, and buckled up. I called my wife.

"Did you find her?" My wife immediately asked.

"Yup. She's in the car with me now. Her phone died. She was at the pizza place by your mom's house." I said.

"Oh thank God. Okay. I was worried that we were going to have to call the cops or something." Y/n said.

"Nope. We're all good. I'll see you when we get home." I said.

"Okay. I love you." She said. I smiled.

"I love you too." I said, and we hung up. I looked at my daughter and then back at the road. "Why do you have pizza?"

"I wanted some and I figured that you and mom would want some too." She said. I nodded.

"Thank you. I'll pay you back for the pizza when we get home." I said.

"Okay." She said.

"Rosie, there's something that you have to understand. You know that I'm a singer right, and that people in town know who we are because of that?" I asked. Rose nodded.

"Yeah." She said.

"Well, I don't want someone to, God forbid, kidnap you and hold you for ransom or something. Next time you go for a walk, your phone is to be at full charge, understand?" I asked. She nodded.

"I understand." She said. We soon arrived home and Y/n rushed over to hug her when she saw her. "I'm okay mom."

"Don't ever scare us like that ever again please." Y/n said. Rose nodded.

"Okay. I won't." She said.

"Now what's going on with school?" I asked. Rose sighed.

"I don't want to talk about it." She said.

"Well I'm your dad and if something or someone is bothering you, I want to know." I said. Rose sat down on the couch and began to cry. I sat down next to her and pulled her close to me.

"The kids at school pick on me. They don't like what I wear. They say mean stuff about... someone. I just don't like it." She said. My wife and I looked at each other.

"Who do they say mean stuff about Rose?" I asked.

"It's not important." She said.

"It obviously is if it's making you this upset." I said. Rose looked at me.

"They say mean stuff about you Daddy. They say that you're a bad singer and stuff like that. It makes me so mad because they don't even know you. I always just walk away when they start saying mean stuff." Rose said. My eyes widened and Y/n's jaw dropped. I then pulled Rose in for a hug.

"Good for you for walking away. Don't even look at them. Your mom and I will call your school and get this all figured out. What are the kids names?" I asked. Rose looked like she was about to protest to this but then she said the names. The next day, Y/n and I called the principle and everything was fixed. I'm so glad that we found Rose and that everything was fixed at school.
