It's Hogsmeade day bitchesssss.
Hermione and Charlotte woke up early so they could get ready for today, it was snowy and cold out so they dressed up warm. (They have shirts on underneath btw)
(A/N: Yes, it is the same outfits from Fifth Year, but they're switched around.)
They met up with the boys and made their way to Hogsmeade, as they were walking, Hermione decided to bother Harry about the book.
"For weeks, you carry around that book, practically sleeping with it and yet you have no desire to find out who the Half-Blood Prince is."
Harry immediately defended himself.
"I didn't say that I wasn't curious and I don't sleep with it."
Ron piped in as they linked arms.
"It's true! I like a nice chat before I go to bed, now you're always reading that bloody book. It's like being with Hermione."
Hermione gave Ron a look and Charlotte snickered at their behaviour. Hermione then muttered.
"Well, I was curious so I went to-"
Ron, Harry and Charlotte cut her off by speaking in unison.
"The Library."
She playfully glared and Harry let out an "and?" making Hermione lightly responded.
"And.. nothing, I couldn't find a reference anywhere to a Half-Blood Prince."
Harry shrugged and added on.
"There we go, that settles it then."
The four looked over to see Flitwick marching through the thick snow. Slughorn, who was walking in his direction, greeted.
"Ah, Filius. I was hoping to find you in the Three Broomsticks."
Flitwick answered back with a hint of a made up excuse.
"No, erm. Emergency choir practice I'm afraid, Horace."
He waddled through the snow and passed them with a slight smile on his face, they smiled back and let out a quiet laugh, even Flitwick doesn't want to meet with Slughorn. After a bit of silence, Harry asked.
"Does anyone fancy a Butterbeer?"
Charlotte piped up and exclaimed as she skipped excitedly.
"Hallelujah! Let's go, it's bloody freezing."
The others began laughing and then followed Charlotte to the Three Broomsticks. When they got there, Ron opened the door and they entered, Charlotte sighed in content when it was warm due to the fireplace being lit up. It was also quite busy, but there was several empty tables.
They got to an empty table and Ron was going to sit next to Hermione when Harry muttered to him.
"No, sit next to me."
Charlotte put on a mock offended face and shook her head playfully as she took off her coat, hat, scarf and gloves and put them on the chair before sitting down. A scrawny kid came up to them and asked what they wanted, but Charlotte's attention was on Harry as he was looking behind her.
So, she turned her head and saw a reluctant and nervous Draco heading into the girl's bathroom. She furrowed her eyebrows and told Harry to sit down, he obeyed her order and she cleared her throat before stating.
"I'm just going to the loo, I won't be long."
Ron and Hermione nodded whilst Harry was looking at Lottie suspiciously, she ignored his look and went into the lavatory. She shut the door behind her and it made Draco jump and hide something. She asked him sternly.
"What's going on? Why are you in the girls lavatory?"
Draco looked guilty, but responded anyway.
"Oh, um. I'm just... I-uh..."
He trailed off nervously and Charlotte sighed, she then muttered calmly.
"I'll let you do what you need to do. But please, whatever you're doing, as long as it doesn't seriously hurt anybody."
Draco sighed in relief and nodded, he then thanked her before turning around and doing what he was going to do. Charlotte stared at him in sadness at what he has to do.
Well, she doesn't specially knows what he has to do, but she can tell that it's bad and that it will challenge him both mentally and physically.
Charlotte turned back around and exited the lavatory, she wiped her hands on her shirt like she has washed her hands and faked a smile as she sat back at the table. Her attention was now brought onto Ginny and Dean at a table a bit away, talking. Ron mumbled out a "oh, bloody hell" and Hermione rolls her eyes and speaks up.
"Oh, honestly, Ronald. They're just holding hands."
They looked back to see them now snogging, Charlotte smirked and laughed at Ron's disgusted face. Hermione eyes widened and she added on to what she was saying earlier.
"And snogging."
Lottie smiled and shook her head, she then muttered to herself.
"Damn, my little sister is having her first kiss before me. Wow."
Harry snickered and Ron ignored what she had said, he instead announced.
"I'd like to leave."
Charlotte rolled her eyes and then thanked the boy as he placed down her Butterbeer. Hermione asked in disbelief.
"What? You can't be serious?"
Ron retorted back.
"That happens to be my sister."
Lottie shook her head at his behaviour and took a sip of her Butterbeer as Hermione stated.
"So? What if she looked over here and saw you snogging me? Would you expect her to get up and leave?"
This made Charlotte choke on her butterbear and look at Hermione in shock. Ron's face was frozen and he looked gobsmacked, but didn't say anything. Lottie then jumped when she suddenly heard the voice of Slughorn. He exclaimed behind her.
"Harry, m'boy!"
Harry suddenly got up and shook hands with Slughorn and eagerly greeted.
"Hello, sir. Wonderful to see you."
Ron looked at Charlotte with a look of disbelief on his face and mouthed "wonderful to see you?", Lottie just shrugged and smirked as she knew that Harry was being a suck up to Slughorn. She then ignored their conversation until Slughorn accidentally spilt Butterbeer on Hermione. Charlotte chuckled as Slughorn joked.
"Oops! All hands on deck, Miss Granger."
Hermione thinly smiled and Charlotte helped her wipe it away and a hand suddenly went on Lottie's head, she froze as it was Slughorn's. She then swiftly moved her head away and listened as he spoke to Harry.
"Listen, m'boy. In the old days, I used to throw together the occasional supper and invite a select student or two, would you be game?"
Harry smiled and replied.
"I'd consider it an honour, sir."
Slughorn turned to Charlotte and Hermione and muttered.
"You'd be welcome too, Miss Weasley and Miss Granger."
Lottie smiled and Hermione responded.
"I'd be delighted."
Charlotte added on.
"Me too, can't wait."
Slughorn smiled and turned back to Harry before added on.
"Splendid, look for my owl."
He turned to go, but stopped and spoke to Ron.
"Good to see you, Wallenby."
He left and Charlotte looked at Ron who looked offended, he then looked at his twin and complained.
"How come he got your last name correct when mine is the same?!"
Lottie innocently shrugged and smirked as she finished her Butterbeer, Ron turned to Harry and asked.
"What are you playing at?"
Harry answered his question honestly.
"Dumbledore's asked me to get to know him."
Ron repeated in curiousness.
"Get to know him?"
Harry just shrugged and continued.
"Dunno, but it must be important. If not, Dumbledore wouldn't have asked."
Charlotte wiped her mouth as she felt the foam resting above her lip, Hermione wasn't so lucky as Ron pointed out that she had a foam mustache, causing her to embarrassingly turn her head away and wipe her mouth.
