Hermione pointed at the sky and they looked to see that the full moon was shining. Charlotte's eyes widened and Harry pulled her away as Sirius went up to Remus and asked.

"Remus, old friend. Did you take your potion tonight?"

Remus couldn't respond as his inner wolf began forming. Lottie looked at him in horror as his body began cracking and he groaned in pain. Sirius told the teens to run, but they just froze. He spoke calmly to Remus.

"You know the man you truly are, Remus, this flesh is only flesh, this heart is where you truly live, this heart. Here!"

He points to his chest, but Pettigrew ends up getting away by transforming. Harry goes to go after him, but Charlotte grabbed his waist and held him back. Remus howled and Snape went to scold them, but heard the howl. He immediately stood in front of them, shielding the four of them from Remus as he took a swipe at Snape making him fall to the ground.

Charlotte gasped and knelt down, making sure he was okay. Ron looked at her like she was mad, but even though Snape is a bit of a cunt, he's still a human being. Lottie looked back up to see Sirius in his dog form jumping at Remus. Hermione and Charlotte helped Snape back up and he immediately pushed Lottie behind him.

Harry exclaimed as Remus threw Sirius aside over the hill.

"Sirius!"

He begins to run off towards Remus and Charlotte goes to follow, but Snape holds her back. Remus goes to attack Harry, but another howl is heard from within the forest, making Remus run off into it and Harry follows.

Charlotte sighed, knowing Snape would not let her go. So her and Hermione helped Ron to the hospital wing. Whilst Ron was getting bandaged up, Charlotte helped Hermione tend to the cuts on their faces from the branches. They waited for Harry to come and when he did, this was the first thing he said.

"I saw my dad."

Charlotte's mouth dropped and her eyebrows furrowed, the girls exchanged glances and Lottie asked in disbelief.

"W-What?"

He looked at her straight in the eye and replied.

"He sent the Dementors away.. I saw him across the lake."

Charlotte didn't really know what to say back, but Hermione announced.

"Listen, Harry, they've captured Sirius. Any minute the Dementors are going to perform the Kiss."

Harry stuttered a response.

"T-The Kiss?"

Charlotte nodded and explained.

"It's what Dementors do to those they want to destroy, they clamp their jaws over the victim's mouth and... suck out his soul."

Harry's eyes widened and he asked in panic.

"You mean, they're going to kill Sirius?"

Hermione frowned and continued.

"No. It's worse, much worse, you go on living, but you have no memory, no sense of self. You're just a shell, an empty shell.."

Harry started breathing heavily and before Charlotte had the chance to calm him down, Dumbledore came in, making her run up to him and exclaim.

"Headmaster! You've got to stop them! They've got the wrong man!"

Harry joined in.

"It's true, sir. Sirius is innocent-"

Ron cut him off as he stated.
