"Get up you lazy git! Get up, get up, get uppppp!"

Charlotte rolled over and ignored Hermione's calls, however, she kept trying to wake her up and Lottie just couldn't be bothered.

"Fine, I'll go get Harry to wake you up."

Charlotte scoffed and stated.

"Boys aren't allowed in the girls dorms."

Hermione sighed and left the dorm and Lottie smirked, thinking she had given up. So, she snuggled up to her quilt and sighed in content, her eyes then shot open when she felt a body jump onto hers. Fluffy hair blocked her eyesight and her eyes widened, she thought to herself.

Hermione actually got Harry up here!

Harry rolled over Charlotte and exclaimed.

"Wake up, Lottieee, I'll keep laying on you until you get up."

Her not thinking straight, replied sleepily.

"Keep laying on me then, you're warm."

Charlotte's mouth opened and she realized what she had said, she pushed Harry off of her and and sat up abruptly. She looked at their smirking faces and blushed, stuttering a response.

"T-That wasn't meant to sound weird, I swear."

Harry snorted and responded teasingly.

"Are you sure?"

Charlotte shot up out of bed and shooed Harry out before slamming the dorm door shut, she then turned to Hermione and went to speak, but instead spluttered nothing and rushed to get dressed.

Hermione stood smirking the whole time, Lottie playfully slapped her arm and swore to herself as she kept blushing.

After she finished getting ready, the two girls headed to the great hall for breakfast and sat down at the table. Charlotte avoided eye contact with Harry and ate her porridge in silence. She overheard Neville talk to Ron and Harry.

"Detention, on the first day?!"

Seamus spoke after.

"That must be some kind of record."

Charlotte shook her head and muttered something about Fred and George, she then smiled as Hermione started on lecturing the boys.

"I think you should count yourself lucky that's all you got."

Ron scoffed and replied snarkily.

"I think you should mind your own business."

Charlotte looked out from the corner of her eyes to see them both glaring at each other and Harry awkwardly sitting in between them.

She then sighed in relief as the bell went, signalling that it's the first lesson. That lesson being Herbology.

Minutes later, they stood in one of the greenhouses listening to Professor Sprout.

"Welcome to greenhouse three, Second Years. Today, we will be re-potting Mandrakes. Now, who here can tell me the properties of the Mandrake? Yes, Miss Granger."

Hermione spoke confidently and put her hand down.

"Mandrake, or Mandragora, is used to return those who have been petrified to their original state. It's also quite dangerous, the Mandrake's cry is fatal to anyone who hears it."

Charlotte smiled at her know-it-all of a best friend and listened to Sprout as she praised Hermione.

"Excellent, ten points to Gryffindor."
