The two landed on the wooden floor and winced when Harry was digging his elbow in Charlotte's ribs, his glasses flew and they heard a crack. Harry sighed and apologized as he helped her up, Charlotte waved him off and dusted herself off. He then found his glasses and groaned when there was a crack on one of the lenses.

They looked around and shivered when a cold feeling came over them, Lottie muttered out.

"Crap, we're in Knockturn Alley."

Harry looked at her in confusion and asked.

"Knockturn Alley?"

She nodded and replied.

"Yeah, where dark witches and wizards go."

His eyes widened and Charlotte nodded, he sighed and looked around. Lottie spotted this globe thing and it was pitch black inside, she went to touch it, but jumped when she heard Harry hiss. She turned to him in alarm and her mouth dropped, he had a skeleton hand over his.

Charlotte helped him get it off and he rubbed his hand, he then gasped and suddenly pulled Lottie away and into a cabinet. She went to speak, but he covered her mouth and shushed her. She froze when she saw Draco and his father walk into the shop.

Her focus was so on them, that she didn't realise the small space they were in, was slowly closing around them. She also didn't feel Harry's breath against her neck or the fact that because they were so close together, if Charlotte turned her head, her lips would be on his. They listened to Lucius as he ordered Draco sternly.

"Don't touch anything, Draco."

Draco sighed and just wondered around the shop, the two overheard the owner of the shop speak with excitement in his voice.

"Mr Malfoy! What a pleasure to see you again, are you buying again-"

Lucius cut him off with a cold response.

"I'm not buying today, Mr Borgin, I'm selling."

Mr Borgin asked.

"Selling?"

Lucius firmly nodded and responded.

"You have heard, of course, that the Ministry of Magic is conducting more raids. There are even rumors of a new Muggle Protection Act."

Charlotte grimaced when he said "Muggle" with disgust in his voice. Mr Borgin nodded and announced.

"I have a few items at home that might prove embarrassing if the Ministry were to call, certain poisons.."

Lucius looked quite interested, and he went to speak, but was interrupted by Draco asking.

"Can I have this?"

Harry and Charlotte looked at Draco to see him clutching the hand that had previously captured Harry's, Lucius shook his head and replied coldly.

"No, you must not, you did not get the grades that I had asked you to get, therefore, you will not get any presents."

Draco frowned and sulked, he then whined.

"But it's hard when there's a know-it-all in the class that answers everything, even when she was not asked."

Lucius tutted and stated.

"What have I told you about speaking of that mudblood? Are you going to whine about that Weaslette as well or have you stopped crushing on her?"

Lottie let out a quiet yelp of shock, one, because he called Hermione a.. that thing and two, Draco has a crush on her?

During her mini freak out, she had missed the fact that Draco had tried to open the door to the cabinet that they were sat in, she had also missed that thee son and father had left, only until Harry pushed Charlotte out of the cabinet, just in time for the inside of it to shut with a loud clang.

Charlotte shook her head as they walked out of the shop and made their way out of the alley, she clung onto Harry when a creepy woman tried to wrap her ugly hand around her arm.

Lottie started to breathe heavily when a man with warts and black teeth tried to practically assault her. Harry wrapped his arm around Charlotte and tried his best to pull her away, it wasn't until they heard a familiar gruffy voice when she calmed down.

"Harry? Lottie? What are you doing here?"

They looked to see Hagrid at the entrance of the alley, so they ran towards him and he pulled them away from the creepy people, Harry explained when they were safe.

"We got lost, I had said the wrong thing when flooeing here and we ended up in one of the shops- wait, what are you doing around Knockturn Alley?"

Hagrid raised a big bottle of liquid and replied.

"I was looking for a Flesh Eating Slug Repellent, they're ruining the school's cabbages."

They let out an "ah" and walked down a pathway.

"Harry, Lottie!"

The two looked to see who had said their names and Charlotte smiled when she saw Hermione running towards them. She pulled Harry and Lottie into a hug and then looked at Hagrid and greeted.

"Oh, hello Hagrid, it's nice to see you."

Hagrid smiled and patted her on the head, he said a quick "bye" and left, leaving the three friends. Hermione spoke as she dragged them with her.

"Come on, everyone's been worried."

Charlotte smiled and let the brunette drag her towards her family, she smiled even more when she saw Hermione's parents talking to Arthur. When they reached them, Molly asked.

"Oh, there you guys are. Where did you end up to?"

Harry and Charlotte looked at each other and then answered in unison.

"Knockturn Alley."

Molly gasped and Fred and George high-fived, they looked at Harry and Lottie and nagged in unison.

"Knockturn Alley?! What was it like?"

Charlotte let out a laugh and replied.

"Bloody creepy, I can tell you that."

The boys laughed and muttered a "wicked" under their breath, Molly must have heard them as they received a slap to the back of their head which made Lottie snort in amusement. Molly then fixed Harry's glasses and announced.

"Come on, let's go to Flourish and Blotts to get your books."

They all nodded and followed Molly. When they arrived, Charlotte saw a banner on the entrance that had a dudes face on, that must be Lockhart.
Charlotte's face scrunched up and she muttered.

"Ew, he's ugly, no offence to him."

Harry snickered, but Lottie ignored the look Hermione was giving her.
