They hid behind the rock as they watched their past selves go into the hut. They looked at Buckbeak and Harry exclaimed.

"Look! Buckbeak's still alive."

Charlotte replied.

"Of course, remember what Dumbledore said, if we succeed, more than one innocent life could be spared."

Harry frowns and asks.

"Buckbeak.. but how will saving Buckbeak help Sirius?"

Hermione responded.

"We'll see."

The three stealthily made their way behind the pumpkins and watched as the past Ron and Hermione hug very awkwardly. Charlotte snorted quietly, and then grabbed Harry's shoulder as she spotted the adults walking towards the hut. Harry goes to stand up, but Lottie holds him down. He complains.

"That's Pettigrew!"

Charlotte looked to see Ron holding Scabbers and Hermione exclaims.

"No! Harry, you can't!"

Harry sighs and replied.

"Hermione, that's the man who betrayed my parents! You don't expect me to just sit here..."

Hermione responded hastily.

"Yes, you must!"

Harry sighs in frustration and Hermione continues.

"Harry, you're in Hagrid's hut right now. If you go bursting inside, you'll think you've gone mad. Awful things can happen when witches or wizards meddle with time, we can't be seen!"

Harry nods, finally understanding and they watch as the adults get closer. Hermione mutters out.

"Fudge is coming and we're not leaving. Why are we not leaving?!"

She then picks up a stone and throws it towards the hut, it hits the pot and smashes it. Harry looks at her wide eyed and hisses.

"Are you mad?!"

Charlotte spots a stone and decided to throw it as well, this time, it hit Harry on the back of his head. He hisses again and exclaims.

"Ow! That hurt!"

Lottie rolled her eyes and rubbed the back of his head and stated.

"Sorry, love. It had to be done."

Harry pouts and she ignores him as she continues to watch the past them in the hut. Hermione mutters out again.

"C'mon, any minute now we're going to be coming out the back door-"

She gets cut off when the back door slowly opens, making them dash behind the trees in the forest. Hermione goes behind one tree and Harry and Charlotte go behind the other. Lottie leans against the tree and holds back a laugh as Hermione quietly asks in shock.

"Is that really what my hair looks like from the back?!"

She then suddenly steps on a stick and it snaps, making the past them look into the forest. Harry quickly pulls Charlotte towards him and holds her as they hear the past Hermione mutter.

"I though I saw.. nevermind."

Charlotte then looks to her past self and mutters.

"Man, I look good from the back."

Hermione snickers quietly and Harry blushes as he accidentally took a look at an area in which Ron would definitely batter him if he saw what exactly he was looking at. But Charlotte breathes a sigh of relief as the others run up the hill, away from their sight.
