{Time Skip to January}

Just to let you know, it wasn't awkward like Charlotte thought it'd be. It was actually okay, apart from the fact that every time Harry and Lottie looked at each other, they blushed profusely.

Anywho, the Christmas holiday went faster than Charlotte had liked and they are now back at school, back to the lessons with Umbitch and back to seeing Hagrid.

Speaking of the half giant, the quartet have just approached his hut, but skidded to a halt when they heard and saw Umbitch inside. They watched through the window whilst listening to what she was saying.

"I will say this one last time, I'm ordering you to tell me where you've been."

Hagrid, looking distressed, responded back.

"I told you, I've been away for me health."

Umbridge looked around Hagrid and the four ducked immediately and Charlotte swore to herself. Umbridge asked.

"Your health?"

Hagrid replied.

"Yeah, a bit of fresh air, you know?"

Umbitch sarcastically retorted.

"Oh, yes. As gamekeeper, fresh air must be difficult to come by. If I were you, I shouldn't get too used to being backm in fact, I mightn't bother unpacking at all."

Umbridge opened the front door and Charlotte dragged Ron towards her as he was nearly seen, they waited until she was gone before frantically knocking at the door until Hagrid let them in. He ushered the four inside and they sat down opposite him as he hushed.

"This is top-secret, right? Dumbledore sent me to Parley with the giants."

Hermione exclaimed in shock.

"Giants?!"

Hagrid shushed her until letting her continue.

"You found them?"

Hagrid answered her question.

"Well, they're not that hard to find, to be perfectly honest. They're so big, see? I tried to convince them to join the cause, but I wasn't the only one that was trying to win them over."

Ron asked.

"Death Eaters?"

Hagrid nodded and responded.

"Yes, they were trying to persuade them to join You-Know-Who."

Harry then asked curiously.

"Did they?"

Hagrid continued.

"I gave them Dumbledore's message, suppose some of them remember he was friendly to them. I suppose."

He then sighed and looked to Fang who was staring at him and whining, Charlotte asked as she looked at his wounded face.

"And they did this to you?"
