Shota was going through school on autopilot while thinking a lot about what Mr. Yamada said to him and about what Akemi had said to him as well.
He sighed and gloomily and then spoke towards Shira-Kumo in order to change his current thought process into something else that had been bugging him.

"Yeah dude, I'm his brother and granted he's in for a wake up call, but he needs that experience. It isn't rational for him not to have some battle experience. Besides pops would ground him if he shrugged off the offer."

He wrapped an arm around Shota's shoulder pulling him into a joking side hug. Shota's right eye twitched. "Shut up!"
