Friends get together

Full friends gang was in Gautham's house. Shekhar, Kailash, Anand, Aleena, Gauthami, Shalini, Ria and Krithika were there. Even Amit had joined on special request from Gautham as he felt it is new year and they all should get together to discuss what were their next plans.

" Guys first let me tell you some good news. Tomorrow evening Sreedhar is taking Suman for that Army's charity bash where singer Hariharan is coming. Suman has got free passes as she has choreographed a dance for the programme and Sreedhar's mom allowed her to go and asked Sreedhar to accompany. He had called me to share this info and tell you all also" told Gautham

" I am feeling so happy for Suman. Finally some light hearted programme for her. But only 2 of them. Cant it create issues Gautham" asked Krithika

" No it is not 2 of them. Sreedhar's young nephew is going with them. We need to understand Sreedhar's mom knows social realities well " told Gautham

" That means no chance for romance" told Kailash

" Kailash keep your mouth shut. Even other wise Sreedhar wont romance her publicly. He will keep their social status equation exact. Already big problem. Now you start romance"

" Ok stop all that. Now what are our next steps" asked Shalini

" See we have 2 move in two ways. One is weakening the system, second is bringing the truth of Suman's family out in the open. As of now we have 2 chances for it. But we have to be very careful as both are going to contradict each other" told Gautham

" Contradict each other means" asked Shekhar

" First is the case of Suman's cousin sister Devika. Amit would know it"

" yes Sreedhar had told about it and I told I need atleast 5-6 months before I can look into it"

" Yes the legal course will take 5-6 months as Amit is busy" told Gautham

" Amit heard you have stuck a lottery. Be in Rajasthan Amit you need not be a penniless lawyer anymore" interrupted Shekhar

" Shekhar yes Vaishnav's case is open and shut. But Shalini knows I will only keep 1% of it, rest is for fighting many other cases. Yaa I would prefer to take some cases like his. See even Devika's case will be like that where I can demand some remuneration. I agree to you, I seriously need to have some money, I cant make my wife run around post marriage though she always tell I will work, you don't worry" told Amit and Shalini laughed. She was now a lecturer in RR College and had registered for Phd too.

" Ok guys now coming back to the point" told Gautham and everyone turned back to him.

" See Devika didi wants a job. She is a matriculation pass and has done short hand course. We all know with short hand course she has a good chance of getting the job. She has done that course as part of some woman empowerment programme. The Rajputs allowed her to study because to show off. Shekhar you need to check how we can use their pretense to ensure Devika didi is let go for a job. We can always check with Pooja didi on where the job is available and Sudhir Bhaiyya will of course help us to locate the job. All in all Devika did has to be bought out from that house and re located to Jaipur with a proper job and accommodation. That relocation with no link to Varma's is your task Shekhar"

" Fine, now what is the second point" asked Shekhar

" Sex determination clinics in Mewar and link it to Rajput family. Suman's father has 5 brothers and she herself has some 7 or 8 brothers. One of them will go to this clinic and one of them will decide for female foeticide also. We might need quite a lot of patience with this , but we will have to do this " told Gautham

" Gautham but our plan was going for that after we clear civil services. Otherwise will the current administration do something even if news comes out" asked Kailash

" Kailash what I was thinking was if we go this way maybe we will get a hand on the corrupt administration of Mewar, maybe the IPS officer. It can even open up a chance for you to get direct posting in Mewar. What say" told Gautham.

" I never thought about it Gautham, but what about you in Jaipur. Already Pooja is an established district collector"

" We will check with Sudhir Bhaiyya. Pooja didi can pull some strings to get me as Assistant Collector" told Gautham"

" Hello big big dreams. When is your mains results coming by the way" asked Krithika

" Well another month, but let us be positive Krithika, right Kailash" told Gautham

" Exactly Krithika you just see in front of you Gautham Sanyal IAS and Kailash Malhotra IPS". They all laughed.

" Guys come back to the point. So what can you do Shekhar" asked Gautham

" I have to think. See for the second part I cannot do anything now as Aleena has to join full time for that. It will not be possible till April. So it will be on hold till then. Once she joins, I will have to ensure she comes under me. Of course I can get her with what we did for that Jagratha. It was one hell of a thing that got Maryada and Bandhan a lot of mileage and sure shot job for Aleena and Gauthami. How does the offer letter look girls" asked Shekhar looking at Aleena and Gauthami

" Really cool Shekhar. Wish Suman was also part of our group in getting the job" told Aleena

" You don't worry on that Aleena. She is earning money quite well. What with teaching dance and running a embroidery cum fabric painting business at home. Sreedhar was telling once the approval for their marriage happens he will talk to his parents so that she can complete her graduation. Now her college link will unnecessarily open a can of worms and who knows someone might dig the past which none of us want at this time right. That is why he is not telling anything on her graduation" told Gautham

" Now coming to first part. First part we can do. But I will have to talk with my superiors. And Gauthami will you prefer to do final year project with what I have in mind. I can get you permissions" told Shekhar

" Why she alone Shekhar, why not me too" asked Aleena

" Because you are needed for larger mission Aleena. You are already exposed in the Jagratha thing. It is you who reported. Once again if this comes in your name well you will spotted, which I don't want. This is actually a simple thing. A college student's project. But the key is how we present it and get what we want from it. So Gauthami what say" asked Shekhar

" As you say Shekhar. I do not have any issues. But by next month final project report has to be submitted " told Gauthami

" Don't worry we will close it. You are only doing the recording of certain things and usage my team will do " told Shekhar.

" Guys I have a request" told Ria

" What " asked Gautham

" You all know coming May is my marriage. I am going to US post marriage. Not even sure when I will be back or will be able to meet you all guys. I really want to meet Suman and Sreedhar before I go. Please arrange guys. I know Suman coming for marriage can make some relatives of mine wage their tongues, but atleast 3-4 days before that. Same with Sreedhar. You all know how much good friendship I shared with him. We all used to believe that you all guys will be there for our marriage. And without Sreedhar and Suman it feels so bad guys" told Ria.

Gautham looked at her. What Ria told was true. She was having wedding in Jodhpur. He will have to talk to Sreedhar to check if something can be done " Ria don't worry I will check with Sreedhar and see what is possible " told Gautham and Ria smiled.

" Hello everyone if you all are done with your chatting, tea and hot pakodas are ready" came in Gautham's mother Supriya.

" Hot pakodas. Coming now aunty" jumped Kailash and the rest followed him.
