Hitoshi was sad that Great Grandpa Erasure had to go through all that. He smirked wickedly over Muffins antics.

He made a mental note to tell Eri of Muffin.

Hayato slowly opened the guest bedroom door just to make sure that Miyu was actually asleep. He smiled over her looking so at peace, only to frown softly as her story rang in his head. He closed the door and opened his bedroom door only to leave it open and trudged over with a haggard groan before dramatically flopping onto his bed in a face plant. Muffin decided to jump up onto his bed and sleep on his pillow. He spoke with a angry tone of voice.
"You! You know your not allowed on my bed!"
Muffin meowed and suddenly cuddled up to him and purred as he spoke angrily. "Muffin stop!" She stopped only to place her paws on his head and knead at his hair enough that it come undone from the hair-tie. His hair fell down around his face and he groaned.
She cuddled against him again, "These are unwanted cuddles!"
Then he remembered why he was angry at her in the first place and propped himself up by his elbows.
"You...you made me see her in her underwear!"
His eyes turned red as he hissed. "Her Under-Wear!"
He pointed out the door. "You're grounded."
Muffin meowed and his glare narrowed. "I know you know what I mean! Your Grounded! To your cat condo now!"
Muffin hissed before obeying her owner. He sighed heavily and face planted into the bed again before rolling over onto his back as his hair splayed around his head.
"I'm doomed...? I just met her today! I can't seriously have a crush on her already!!!"
He buried his head in his pillow and groaned into it. "Grahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!"
He frowned softly and sighed. "It's fine I'm fine! Just a 22 year old man with a 22 year old woman in his house nothing weird about that...hehe..." his hesitant grin became a thin line of dread, "oh boy." He groaned in defeat. "Only one thing I can do now...I just have to ignore it."
He looked up and saw Muffin sitting in the doorway. "Don't give me that look your a cat not my therapist. Go to bed!"
He sighed and went to bed with emotions he didn't want and a prayer that the Police Chief wouldn't take his hero license for withholding information and harboring a wanted criminal tomorrow.
He closed his eyes. Miyu... she was a beautiful woman with bright red eyes...they shined like rubies. His eyes opened.
"NO!" I'm just going to close my eyes again and stop thinking about her. How hard can it be?"
Five seconds later...
He opened his eyes and groaned angrily as he placed blame. "Stupid insomnia..."

Chiyori spoke with a smirk. "You do realize that your talking to a book boy..."
Reina frowned. "Grandma be nice!"
Hitoshi grumbled and shielded his reddening face with the opened memoir.

Hayato was up with a yawn and after looking over his weapons safe and showering he dressed in his hero outfit and prepared his morning coffee. He took a cup of black roast coffee and chugged it only to spit it out when the guest bedroom door suddenly slammed opened and Miyu punched him in the gut! He fell onto his knees hacking violently as hot liquid went down his throat. Miyu stared down at him panting heavily before blinking and gasping in horror.
"Oh God! I'm so sorry. I didn't know where I was when I woke up and I panicked."
Hayato was fighting to steady his heartbeat. "I...I figured you would react with confusion but I didn't think you would react like that?"
"Well if you woke up thinking you had been kidnapped wouldn't you have wanted to make your entrance known with a well placed punch in the gut before having a few choice words with the kidnapper."
Hayato smirked at her. "I wouldn't have been caught Little Thief."
Miyu blushed over his smirk and flirting tone. "I..." She frowned with her bottom lip stick out slightly. "Then I guess you earned that punch!"
He smirked and chuckled. "Sure..."
"Ummm Hayato..."
"Yeah?"
"Need any help with breakfast?"
"I would actually, thank you."
Breakfast: Eggs and bacon with chives.
She ate slowly and he noticed. "Again I'm sorry that I have to confine you here..."
"I'm aware of the risk your taking by housing me here. You-you could lose your license..."
"I'm aware but I'll plead my case with the Chief. I've never been proven wrong on my judgments. You could've easily slipped out of my home undetected, yet you stayed."
"I...well I'm not a fan of being murdered."
"Huh...I'm so tired of this game..."
"Maybe if you show me the places of every murder I can try to use my knowledge of the streets and find commonalities in locations?"
"I have a pegboard in my room."
"Red thumbtacks and string?"
"Yep..."
She entered and her eyes widened over the large map with an area a mile wide of red thumbtacks. "Whoa!"
"I've been staring at that map for over half a year now and it's driving my crazy! All the lose ends are just not adding up. I think I've lost my detective edge as time passed..."
Miyu was undaunted and spoke. "Go ahead and beg to the Police Chief. I'll see if I can shine where the great Erasure has failed."
He smirked and chuckled. "Watch it, with the smart remarks."
She turned only to notice his locked up weapons safe cabinet. "Whoa impressive stash."
"Look don't touch."
"I'm a thief not a lock-picker."
He laughed at her. "Alright I trust your words Miyu."
He paused after grabbing his kunai arm holders and strapped them to his arms before testing them out assassins creed style with the blades sliding down for him to shoot out whenever he wanted to. He aimed at the large target board near his bed and hit dead center.
"Okay these are working."
He turned and saw her flushed face and sparkling eyes. "You should go..."
"This is my apartment."
"Go now Hayato."
He blinked as she turned away still flustered and he realized why she was so flustered.
"Oh..."
"I'm so embarrassed!"
He walked over and smirked. "Relax you wouldn't be the first to blush over me."
"Hayato!"
"Alright fine I'll leave you alone just remember what I said." He stared her down. "I will hunt you down and bring you back kicking and screaming if I have to. Oh and if Muffin starts meowing like crazy and scratching the door that means I'm home. If she's going feral...get my cat and Get Out. I may be able to keep my personal life under wraps but I'm not guaranteeing anything."
She gulped and nodded. He headed to the door opened it and turned back and pointed at her. "You, stay put. If you get bored there's the tv and books, my office computer and files are off limits, only go in there for paper and supplies if you're into anything art related."
He pointed to Muffin. "And you, no being a pain in the ass for the neighbors and be nice to Miyu. And don't even think about clawing up the couch you have your scratching post."
He coughed into his hand and blushed over Miyu's amused smirk. "Look after my cat okay..."
"Just go you sentimental cat dad!"
"I resent that comment and am choosing to ignore it."
He closed the door and Miyu sighed as she picked up Muffin. "Okay kitty lets help your daddy crack this case. I'll let you play with any leftover string."

At the Police Station...
The Police Chief had her hands in prayer against her forehead as she inhaled sharply. "Let me get this straight...you found Nyx but instead of bringing her in you took her to your home!"
"Yes..."
"God Erasure are you sure you can trust this woman?"
"Have my judgments been wrong before Chief?"
"There's Mo-"
"Besides my past relationship!"
"No you haven't."
"She is my only led Chief. She's not like the tabloids say she's willing to help me. I can plead to her case if I have to but she's not a villain she's never hurt of killed anyone and she steals food only food and clothing from donation bins to survive. Never money."
"Huh...I'll look into her past and try to appeal to her case but Erasure, just promise me that you won't let your feelings for her get in the way of capturing this man."
"I...I won't Chief."
"I'm trusting on you Erasure don't prove me wrong. I also pulled your job files and gave them to the other Heros so you can focus on this led and finally break this case."
"You didn't need to..." the Chief looked up and her eyes shined. "Oh I think I do. You've been running yourself ragged for over a year and you need to slow down. Go home. That's not an order but a suggestion from a friend Erasure."
He blinked in surprise, nodded, and left for his home. Had he really been running himself ragged. He remembered his last conversation with Titanous and Steel Magnolia and frowned. He had been running himself thin with a lack of sleep and was snippy with everyone and everything that wasn't Muffin.
"I should really apologize to them. Maybe invite them to dinner introduce them to Miyu and get their help..."
He passed a unique little flower store selling exotic and dangerous plants. It was mainly used for antitoxins for people and animals that were exposed to the toxins. He stopped when he saw a blooming Black Dahlia in a black flower pot. He thought of Miyu and for some unknown reason he went in and bought it.
