Shiro x Psychic - Triggers

You gasped and sat up in your prison cell. You thought it happened. You thought they found out. You thought that they came inside into your cell where you were cornered and had nowhere to run or hide. Beads of sweat travelled down your head. The fear shook you inside and out and the darkness around you didn't help you at all. "It's all a dream, you're awake now. The nightmares won't get you" You said to yourself. "But you're living in a nightmare."

Shiro was in another cell, thankfully, with other prisoners. Though (y/n) was in another cell, he could feel your loneliness. Even though you were the one who had telepathic powers, he could still feel how you felt, that was how strong your connection was with Shiro. This comforted Shiro because he wasn't the only one afraid. Recently, the other prisoners were being taken out of his prison cell one by one and only a couple remained.

Suddenly, the doors opened with five guards instead of the usual three. "Take the prisoners" The head guard ordered. The four remaining guards marched towards the last couple of prisoners and escorted them out of the cell.

"What about me?" Shiro asked, almost snarling the words out of his mouth.

"You are going to rot in this prison. You may be known as the Champion, but that doesn't mean that every single spectator in this ship admires your victors and feats" The head guard huffed. With a flick of his chin, the door slammed shut and Shiro was sentenced to days of darkness again.

'(y/n)' Shiro whispered. 'I'm alone now, I don't know about you, but I am more than ready to leave this place.'

You listened to his thoughts and replied, 'So am I, now that you're alone we'll go along with your plan. I've been counting the timing and footsteps of the guards walking past my cell, what about you?'

'Been counting, it's pretty much the same as yours' Shiro replied.

'Okay, I'll bust you out in an hour or two'  You said.

'Looking forward to it' Shiro replied. You sighed taking deep breaths. This is it, you and Shiro are finally escaping. All this time you were finally ready to leave the Galran empire. And finally see Shiro up close for the first time.

"Three, four, five" you counted. You concentrated on the empty space around you. Nothing but Shiro was in range. Wait! Here was the guard. You leapt at your chance and dove into his mind.

"Wha-what the heck is happening to me?!" The guard exclaimed. You opened the realm of his mind. The whole atmosphere was filled with goo and weird pink substances floating around.
You wobble around the sloshes of his mind and found the guard in the centre. You hurried over and clumsily grasped his shoulder and placed a hand on his forehead.

"You have the dirtiest mind, literally!" You growled. In one heartbeat, you had control over his mind. You opened your eyes and saw the guard at the open door of your cell. "Open Shiro's cell" you ordered. The guard silently opened the cell with complete obedience.

Finally, you were able to see Shiro face to face. "It's good to finally meet you" Shiro extended his hand with a grin. You followed in sync and shook his hand.

"And it's nice to meet you too" you smiled. "So you know how to get out of here?" You asked.

"Yeah, follow me" Shiro answered. The rest of the ship was as you imagined, dark, ambient and absolutely purple. "Wonder how they would like the colour pink" Shiro commented.
