Shiro and Hannah - Memories part 3

"Whoa" Keith gasped. The whole house was chaos. Tables were turned, dishes were broken and the furniture was ripped to pieces. "Looks like a hurricane passed through here" Keith commented.

"Francis!" I called out, "Francis are you okay? If you're still in here can you please tell me where you are?"

"Is Francis the guy that lives here?" Keith asked.

"Yeah, he bought the house and we kept in touch cause I didn't want to completely let go it" I answered, "He got the furniture and everything in the house that wasn't ours. Good bargain, but really expensive. I was surprised that he was able to afford everything in here."

"Well, looks like all that stuff is broken now" Keith sighed.

"What do you think could have done this?" I asked.

"I don't know, none of the windows is broken. It's all inside the house" Keith answered.

"Francis did not do this" I growled.

"I'm not saying that!" Keith protested.

"Who goes there?" An elderly voice asked.

"Francis! Are you in your room?" I asked.

"Yes, please help me!" Francis whimpered.

"I'm coming!" I shouted, running past the broken wood, glass and China. I slipped on the way and fell, but kept going. 'Cuts and scrapes don't matter, if Francis is in trouble I need to get there ASAP' I thought. Keith gasped after I fell.

"Hannah wait!" Keith cried.

"I need to get to Francis!" I replied. I rushed out the living room into the hallway and headed for the room at the end of the hallway. I burst the door open and saw Francis, frail as he was, lying on the ground with a bookcase on top of him. "Oh my gosh! Francis are you okay?" I asked, rushing over to the bookcase. It was small and with the books all out, it should be light enough for me to lift on my own.

"No Hannah, you need to run they're here!" Francis hoarsely cried.

"Who?" I asked.

"Them!" Francis cried, pointing to something behind me. I turned around, but something grabbed my neck.

"ARG!" I gagged.

Keith's POV

I heard a loud thud and Hannah screaming. "Hannah!" I shouted, racing into the room. A large Galra had his filthy hands around her neck and threw her to the wall, creating another crater into the wall. "Let her go!" I shouted, tackling the soldier to the ground.

The soldier immediately brought this elbow on my head and pushed me off. My head was spinning and dazed from the hit. 'I hate Galra armour' I thought. I slowly got up and watched in agony as the soldier grabbed Hannah by the arm and dragged her outside. She was unconscious and bleeding.

Back at the castle...

"Get up Keith! Hannah's just been captured!!!" Pidge screamed, watching the video feed from Hannah's camera.

"You try to run after her after being hit in the head by a metal elbow!" Keith groaned. Pidge watched the feed as she ignored Keith's audio feed from his ear comm. Pidge scooped her laptop from her lap and ran to Allura's room.

"Hey!" Lance protested, "I was watching too!"

"We need to tell Allura what's going on..." Her voice slowly dispersed as she ran further away.

"What?" Lance whispered.

Pidge ran as fast her legs could move until she reached Allura. "Allura! We need to help Hannah and Keith. She's been captured by the Galra!" Pidge shouted.

"What?!" Allura exclaimed.

"We need to go down and help them!" Pidge begged.

"We can't risk exposing ourselves to all of Earth, it would be chaos!" Allura argued.

"But Hannah's in trouble!" Pidge protested.

Keith's POV

"Pidge, you still there?" I groaned.

"Busy" Pidge quickly answered.

"What? What could you possibly be doing that's more important than my report about the Galra?" I questioned.

"Trying to convince Allura to send you back up" Pidge answered.

"Oh, never mind. I've got some information about the Galra and how they managed to find us. I had a talk with Francis and apparently, Hannah is linked to all of this" I said.

"Really? How?" Pidge asked.

"It's simple, Hannah is Shiro's sister. That's why the Galra is here" Keith answered.

"That doesn't make any sense. It doesn't explain how they knew where to come when you would come and how they knew Hannah was Shiro's sister" Pidge replied.

"Look, it doesn't matter. We need to get Hannah back right now!" Keith demanded.

"Easy there Keith, give me a sec. I'll track Hannah down, meanwhile, you find a way to get back to us. Find an open area where Lance can pick you up" Pidge ordered.

"Got it" Keith replied.

"Are you going to save Hannah?" Francis asked.

"Yes, I am" Keith answered.

"Good luck to you then" Francis smiled. Keith nodded and ran out the door. Francis watched Keith as he hurried off out the front door. He smirked and stood up, shifting back into his Galra form. "You're going to need all the luck you can get Paladin" The Galra chuckled.
