Lance x reader - Makeover part 2

You and Pidge walked into the dining room trying to avoid the gaze of the guys. "I owe you fives bucks" You sighed, seeing all the boys with their jaws dropped to the ground.

"Yes!" Pidge grinned. "But I don't have any money on me at all" You replied.

"Oh man!" Pidge whined, disappointed.

"Please let us all take a seat and begin our meal!" Allura pleasantly smiled.

"Wow, you look amazing" Lance smiled. You raised a brow at his unexpected compliment. The Lance you knew would have shot you a pickup line... Not a genuine compliment. Not knowing how to react you turn to Allura who just beamed already seeing some fruits of her labour. (She had a really hard time making you and Pidge stay still so that she could apply makeup on your faces. And that's just the first part!)

"Were we supposed to dress up tonight?" Shiro asked, looking over to Allura.

"No, I just did it to the girls" Allura replied, "but if you would like to join you're more than welcome to. I'm sure my father has some clothes that might fit you, but I'm not sure about the boys."

"No! You are not going to see me in a monkey suit!" Keith protested.

"Now that is something I would love to see!" You said excitedly.

"That's it! I dare you to dress up in a tuxedo" Lance exclaimed, pointing to Keith hysterically.

"Allura just said that her father's clothes are too big for us" Keith smirked, outmanoeuvring Lance.

"But I'm sure Coran is about the same size and shape Keith" You grinned evilly.

Keith desperately looked over to Coran to confirm the truth. "Unfortunately, I do happen to have a few pairs of suits that could fit you and Lance... But Hunk might have to find the King's clothes that might fit him" Coran answered. Lance offered a high five which you gladly accepted while poking your tongue at Keith.

"You're toast," Keith said, clenching his teeth and fists.

"Off you go, boys!" Allura smiled, waving them off. "We'll wait for you to come" Allura added before they all disappeared out the door.

"Phew, at least they can't see us anymore" Pidge sighed, sliding into her seat. 

"Allura?" You asked.

"Yes (y/n)?" Allura answered.

"Why did Pidge have to dress up?" You asked, "Pidge is only fourteen and everyone else is in their late teen."

"I invited Pidge to tempt you into our little activity" Allura replied.

"Invited?" You asked, raising a brow towards Allura. You knew how cheeky she could be. And it was highly unlikely that Allura just 'invited' Pidge.

"Well... Some nagging may have been involved with my invitation" Allura admitted, blushing immensely.

"And some deals were made" Pidge added in.

"Yes, the lab will all yours Pidge" Allura confirmed. 

...1 hour later...

"Wake up!" Allura exclaimed.

"WAH!" You screamed, jumping in your seat. Pidge rubbed her eyes slowly waking up.

"The boys are here" Allura smiled, looking over at the door. One by one the boys walked in fully dressed for the occasion.

"HA HA HA HA!" You burst out laughing when you saw Keith in a suit. "Oh man, I wish I brought my camera" You sniggered, trying to contain yourself.

"Aw, am I not camera worthy?" Lance asked, flexing an arm muscle.

"Ha ha!" You laughed. Lance smiled knowing he made you laugh.

To him, you were the radiant sun shining down on him. And his wish tonight was to make the best night you had ever experienced. "Okay, can we eat now?! Cause I'm starving and this food looks so good!!" Hunk said, drooling over his green goo.

"Yes Hunk, we can all start eating" Allura giggled.

Dinner wasn't actually so bad. The food was nice, everyone was finally on the same page and no one stood out. Over time everyone didn't seem to mind the formal clothes. Everyone was conversing with each other, sharing a few laughs here and then. Kieth even managed to break a smile every now and again.

"I've got to say Allura, I think this is one of the best nights I've had here at the castle" You smiled genuinely.

"Thank you (y/n). I'm so glad that we all got to experience a new side of everyone tonight" Allura smiled.

"Great!" Hunk grinned. "Who's doing the dishes?" Hunk asked.

"Me!" Lance replied, shooting his hand up.

"I'll help," You said quickly.

Everyone saw that look you gave to Lance. Allura was especially pleased. "Okay," Hunk said, happily walking out the dining room with a satisfied stomach.

"I can't wait to take this dress off me" Pidge grinned, stretched up.

"I think you looked great Pidge" Hunk complimented.

"Thanks, Hunk" Pidge smiled.

You and Lance watched the others walk out. "Looks like we have the room to ourselves" Lance commented.

"Let's get the dishes washed," You said quickly, hiding your face before a blush crept your neck.

"Sure," Lance said, quietly saying 'Dang it.' You and Lance brought the dishes to the kitchen where you both rolled your sleeves and started cleaning. Lance washed the dishes while you wiped the table, chairs, and floor. It was exhausting, but in half an hour you both managed to get the job done.

"Hey (y/n)? Have you ever been on one side of love?" Lance asked all of a sudden.

"Uh..." You said. "I've had people like me, but I never liked them" You answered.

"Oh..." Lance said, slightly hanging his head.

"But... Maybe that can change?" You smiled.

I know! This is such a bad one-shot! But I've been battling school and trying to get out one-shots. I've been borded out by Shakespear and heaps of quizzes so my brain is deep-fried, tenderized, boiled, chopped and fried on a hot frypan... -_-
