"Giving up something when they don't deserve it and there's nothing it in for you, that's love. Going to someone who needs help when you don't get nothing back, that's love..."

- Mr. Pincher from Veggie Tales

You two were snuggled up on the couch. Keith draped his jacket over you a few minutes ago. Which was kind of cheesy, but you loved him all the same. Yesterday, you two decided to be in a relationship. To everyone that was weird. Not because Keith was actually dating someone, but because you were a Bounty Hunter. And that was just the beginning...

...

You walked into the kitchen at around 5am (You were an early riser) and found Keith in the kitchen as well. "Huh, didn't know you were an early riser, Keith," You said.

"I'm not, but I wanted to make you breakfast" Keith smiled (AAWWW!!!).

"That's very sweet of you Keith" You beamed. You walked over to Keith and gave him a quick kiss on the nose. Keith swelled red with embarrassment; the very reason why you kissed him. You gave him a smirk before turning to make get a hot cup of (f/d).

"You know, you didn't have to get up at 4:30 in the morning to make me breakfast" You commented.

"Yeah, but I really wanted to make you breakfast" Keith replied.

You smiled and answered, "Okay." You gladly accepted his meal while Keith walked off to get a two-hour nap before the day started. You silently giggled but frowned.

If there was something you knew other than how to get every penny out of someone's pocket, it was how people felt and what their motives were. You knew that Keith loved you, but something was making him do it. It wasn't an involuntary action that expressed his feelings. It was a voluntary action to get a reaction from the receiver. In other words, he was trying to earn your love by giving his love to you. He didn't understand that love can be a two-way street.

You understood why, it was because he was always alone and the only time he wasn't alone, was when he was at a garrison where you earned your praise and thanks from instructors. You sighed at the thought. You knew what it was like to earn people's 'love' and respect. That's what it was like to be a bounty hunter. You get popular by doing things that certain people love and then get offered jobs that pay well. If you fail a kill or mess up anytime while people are watching then it's game over for you and you might as well find another career afterward.

The only reason why you knew how to love was because someone else dear to you taught you. You thought back to the person and remembered his saying. "I'm going to teach Keith how to love" You whispered, vowing to show the real side of love.

...

After finishing a delicious breakfast, you cleaned up and walked over to the bay. Your story with the Paladins what another tale to tell around the campfire. What needed to be said was that your crew was gone and all that was left was you and your ship. You walked into your ship and slid your hand against the walls of your ship. You took a large whiff of the air inside your ship. Oh, it brought back so many memories of you and your crew.

You walked to your private room where some bullet marks were left near the doorway. Blitz, your curious mechanic, was trying to try out your blaster and accidently forgot to turn the blaster into safety mode before examining your model. The event almost killed Ratchet who was discussing a deal with another poor client. Thankfully, Ratchet didn't have a chance to seal the deal and Blitz learned from then on to turn the safety mode before examining anything.
