Shiro x Reader - Missing Earth

You looked at the Galaxy Map and stared at the Milky Way. You weren't the only one feeling homesick. Lance was the first to admit it. Then one by one everyone else started to admit their homesickness. You, however, wanted to keep the tough look and kept it to yourself, but every day it was getting harder and harder to hide your loneliness. Today was one of those rare days when the Paladins were taking a break in their own little rooms. It was also a timely opportunity to stare at the Galaxy Map again. All you could was stare, and stare and stare...

"(Y/n)?" A voice called from behind you. You gasped and turned the Galaxy Map off, trying to hide the fact you were missing Earth."What are you doing here?" Shiro asked, walking further into the bridge. "Nothing," You quickly replied, wiping away a few tears. Shiro was right next to you now. He was staring into your eyes filled with worry and concern. Something you didn't expect. "You miss Earth don't you" Shiro smiled. "How did you know?" You asked, wiping your tears as you tried to laugh off the sadness."Easy, you look exactly how I looked like when I get homesick" Shiro pulled you into a loving embrace. The hug helped. When you were in his arms it seemed to melt all your sadness away. Something that a friend wouldn't be able to do."(Y/n), I love you" Shiro said assuringly. You cringed your eyes harder when you heard those words. "I love you too" You cried.
