As Flicker Shadow and his team returned to their tribe, the valley was bustling with activity. Many people were heading to the opposite side of Emerald Creek.

White Lightning commented, "It seems the plantation has a good harvest. Everyone's going to help. It's too crowded to ask around for information. Let's not join the crowd and head back to rest."

Flicker Shadow hesitated, feeling that Wind Voice should still take a look. He had completely reversed his previous disinterest in tribal affairs and now wanted to gather all the information he could.

The valley was busy, and people were frequently passing by. Then, someone from the Diamond Team mockingly said, "Yeah, you guys should go rest. Coming back empty-handed for two days in a row, you really need a break."

Light Wind, young but talented, often praised by others, couldn't help but retort, "We were scouting new areas and found a new growth spot for purple ganoderma

Light Wind, young but talented, often praised by others, couldn't help but retort, "We were scouting new areas and found a new growth spot for purple ganoderma. It's not only useful for harvesting but also a mild cultivation resource. You guys just hunt in the same old places. Boring."

Everyone knew that Light Wind and Thorn Seeker were excellent scouts, and with Heavy Cave's digging skills, the Lightning Team often ventured into extraordinary places, making unexpected discoveries.

However, members of the Diamond Team, known for their robust hunting skills, particularly despised the Lightning Team for their strategy and cunning. The Diamond Team, despite their hard work and sweat, often felt overshadowed by the Lightning Team's more delicate and sought-after harvests.

White Lightning, not wanting to escalate tensions at a sensitive time, stepped forward to mediate, "We are all free citizens. The spoils from each patrol are distributed as needed. The Diamond Team never comes back empty-handed, and the tribe certainly needs brave warriors like you."

After this interruption, Flicker Shadow decided not to discuss anything in front of others and dismissed the idea of sending Light Wind to gather information. Unbeknownst to him, he missed a chance to encounter Raina Grace.

Meanwhile, near the plantation, Raina Grace was confronting a group of people in the Elemental Magnetic Fruit Forest.

The "Giant Tree" that had trapped Raina Grace was deep in the forest. After being released by the "Weeping Stick," she landed directly beneath it, only to be surrounded by several elders.

One of the elders, addressing the "Weeping Stick" named WeeStick, asked, "What's going on? I heard you ran off with a human?"

One of the elders, addressing the "Weeping Stick" named WeeStick, asked, "What's going on? I heard you ran off with a human?"

Their mouths didn't move, but Raina Grace could hear their conversation, similar to how she heard the "Weeping Stick" - directly in her mind.

WeeStick, while sobbing, replied, "I was caught by her and couldn't escape."

"Why didn't you just not run? Waiting for Mang Wu to handle it would've been fine. He planned to possess her directly," the elder questioned.

WeeStick twisted uncomfortably, "But, I also wanted her."

"Well, you had a great opportunity being right next to her. Why didn't you possess her?" As soon as the elder finished speaking, Raina Grace quickly moved a few steps away.

However, WeeStick moved with her, sticking close as if glued to her.

Raina Grace froze, wondering if she had already been possessed.

"I lost my Elemental Ancestor Fruit and can't possess," WeeStick said, moving with Raina Grace and answering the elder's questions.

"What? You didn't consume the Elemental Ancestor Fruit after waking up?" the elder exclaimed in shock. "You'll lose your consciousness!"

Raina Grace felt guilty, realizing the fruit she ate was WeeStick's lost Elemental Ancestor Fruit, crucial for its survival.

Without the fruit, what would become of WeeStick, she wondered. It had helped her escape the burly "stick's" possession and ensured a soft landing. So, she let WeeStick go upon touching the ground, but it stuck to her instead.

Fearing she might be possessed, Raina Grace was on high alert, still unclear about what was happening. The elders seemed to be from the free citizens' tribe, and their method of communicating with these strange "sticks" puzzled her. Where was the burly "stick"?

At that moment, several people arrived, discussing which person Mang Wu would choose for possession.

One of them was harshly dragging a woman, accusing her of causing a disturbance and nearly escaping the plantation. They had managed to cover it up by scaring the animals and keeping the investigators busy.

One elder, addressed as Qin Jia, noticed the captured woman, "Oh, it's the Saintess! Is her body ready for possession?"

The captor, holding the woman, said her body was fine, but she was uncooperative. He wondered whom Mang Wu would choose.

Qin Jia glanced at Raina Grace, then continued discussing with the newcomers, suggesting that possessing the Saintess would be convenient due to her status.

The Saintess, previously shouting defiantly, now seemed dazed and confused.

As Mang Wu hesitated, the Saintess slowly approached him, her face filled with a vacant smile and longing.

"She's ready to cooperate," Qin Jia told Mang Wu, urging him to choose her.

In his indecision, the Saintess reached him but continued walking until she stood between Mang Wu and Raina Grace.

Qin Jia urged Mang Wu to make his choice. Suddenly, the Saintess shouted, surprising everyone, including Mang Wu.

Seizing the moment of distraction, she threw something at Mang Wu, causing a massive explosion.

Then she yelled to Raina Grace, "Run!" and bolted...
