"And that's what happened."
Tyler was staring at me like he didn't have a clue what I had just said. To be honest, I might've gone off on a tangent a few times. Oh well.
"Right. And this is...Courtney?" he glanced at Jin, and she nodded.
"Yeap, "Amaya" insists on Jin though."
"Sounds about right. Does she ship you with anyone yet?" he grinned at me.
"No, but I ship Amazu," she responded.
"Shut up!" I whined.

"Well, I'm going to pretend I know what that is, Muteki, by the way," he bowed dramatically. "Do you know it? It's Japanese."
"Yeah, I don't care," I deadpanned.
"It means invincible. I can't be vinced."
I frowned at him while Jin chuckled and went to check if Iroh needed anything over where he was talking to Toph.
"That's not even a word!"
"Go ahead: try and vince me," he grinned smugly.
"Damn, you can't be vinced can you?"
"No one vinces me, baby," he winked.
"Got it!" I smiled, shaking my head at his antics.
Toph came over to us. "Come on, Mut, we should find Twinkletoes again."
"Sure thing Toph. Jin's coming along apparently," Muteki said.
"Why?"
I piped up from my spot on the floor. "There's a guy in your group who bends fire, right?"
"Yeah. How'd you know?"
"Bumped into him a while back, and Muteki told me."
Toph nodded. I hadn't lied, so she had no reason to disbelieve me.
"He's going to need someone to teach him, and Jin knows a thing or two. Not good enough to be considered a master-"
"Hey!" Jin complained.
"What? It's true!"
Jin rolled her eyes at me.
"Regardless! He needs to know the basics at least, and she knows them," I nodded once to myself.

"Why aren't you coming?" Muteki asked, frowning.
"I'm not leaving that Old Man all by himself! What kind of person do you think I am?" I clasped a hand over my heart dramatically.
"Thespian," Muteki laughed.
"No, Drama Queen. Get it right!"
