You and the Paladins had a quiet night together. Everyone was a little tired from training, but we all had enough energy to have a little talk with one another. "You two did well in the training sessions" Shiro complemented Hunk and Pidge.
"Thanks," Hunk and Pidge smiled. "
Yeah, since becoming a team you two have become really good friends looking out for one another, I've enjoyed seeing that in the team" You smiled.
"I just wish some people would follow example" Shiro sighed, looking over to Lance and Keith.
You turned over to Lance and Keith who were exhausted, but had enough of each other to make sure they had a two-metre separation in between them. "Do you want me to do something about it?" You asked.
"No, it's okay, I'll get Allura to do it" Shiro answered.
"Wait what?!" You and Lance exclaimed.
"What? Allura does have a stance of authority" Shiro answered innocently. You and Lance looked at each other knowing something was up.
One cue, Allura walked into the room. "Did someone call me? I heard someone say my name" Allura asked, taking a seat in between you and Shiro, to which you frowned upon.
"You bet I called your name beautiful" Lance remarked. You and Allura rolled your eyes.
"So returning to the previous question, who called me?" Allura asked.
"I said your name" Shiro said, owning up.
"Oh?" Allura replied.
"Yeah, I was wondering if you could take care of Lance and Keith. On our first day, you helped us work as a team and I was wondering if you could possibly do that again with Lance and Keith?" Shiro asked, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Of course! I would love to!" Allura smiled delightfully.
"That's great. I'm glad you accepted" Shiro replied.
"Oh and Shiro, there's something I need to talk to you about," Allura said, looking over to you.
'Oh no, you didn't! Shiro is mine!!!' You screamed inside your head.
"Sure, do you want to talk about it now?" Shiro asked.
"Yes," Allura answered. "Okay." And with that, Shiro and Allura were gone.
"Something's up," Keith observed.
"And it's not just you who thinks so" You growled.
"Someone's jealous," Lance sniggered.
"I'll say, you were glaring at Shiro the whole time when Allura smiled at him" Hunk noted.
"Oh, whatever man!" Lance humphed, crossing his arms and turning around.
"Either way, I'm going to get to the bottom of this" You gnarled, moving to get up.
"If you're going to spy of Shiro and Allura then I'm coming along with you" Lance announced, quickly standing up with you.
"Told you he was jealous" Hunk smiled, watching Lance and you march out of the door.
"You said it" Pidge acknowledged.
...
"Stop leaning on me!" You whispered harshly.
"Shh! They'll hear us!" Lance snapped.
"With this amount of nagging, I think they already know that we're here!" You snarled. Lance, who was peering into the doorway above you placed a hand on your head to get a better view. "If you don't get that hand off my head I am going to dump you" You scolded.
"You and I aren't together so you can't dump me," Lance remarked. "Of course were toge- Oh," You said, realising that Lance was trying to pull a joke on you.
"Very funny mister comedian," You said sarcastically.
"Your verbal irony is very encouraging" Lance commented.
You growled and pushed Lance off your back. As soon as the weight of Lance left you, you dropped to the group and peered in the doorway. Allura had cupped her hand around Shiro's cheek and Shiro leaned in on it, holding her hand. 'What the-' You screeched in your mind.
"WHAT THE-" Lance shrieked. You jumped at his sudden height in volume and quickly darted away before Allura or Shiro could have time to check out what was happening.
...
You were ratted out by Lance over dinner. Allura and Shiro had the nerve to sit together on the far side of the table, away from all the others. At the start of the meal they, couple asked why Lance was lying on the ground while they were talking. Lance immediately spilled everything, including the part about you and Lance spying on them.
"You were spying on us?!" Allura scoffed. You scratched your nails against the bottom of the table where no one saw or heard.
"Yeah! And (y/n) left me in front of the door to cover her escape. She practically pushed me in the doorway to blame the fault on me!" Lance humphed.
"That is not true!" You protested, "You were on top of me and I warned you that if you kept your hand on my head then I would dump you."
"Wait! Are you two dating?!" Shiro asked, shocked.
"NO WE ARE NOT DATING!!!!!!!" You screamed. Allura widened her eyes with shock and looked over to Shiro. 'Stop looking at him!!' You shouted in your head. "I'm finished," You sighed, grabbing your plate.
"You hardly ate, are you going to finish that?" Hunk asked, eyeing your plate.
"Knock yourself out" You answered, throwing the plate over to him.
The plate launched into the air and landed back on the table with a deafening bang. It was shocking and disturbing, the exact adjectives that matched your attitude. 'I'm outa here' it said. You walked out the dining room, hands in pocket.
You landed on your bed face first, burying it under the hills of your pillow. "Shoot me now" You sighed.
"Careful what you wish for," Keith said, leaning on the doorframe outside your room. You lifted your head and looked over to Keith.
"How long have you been standing there?" You asked.
"As long as you've been lying on your bed; not long" Keith answered.
"Why did you follow me?" You groaned, smashing your face against your pillow again.
"Because Shiro sent me" Keith answered.
"M mm m Mm mm m?" You asked.
"What??" Keith asked.
You reluctantly got your face out of the pillow and answered, "And why did Shiro send you?"
"Oh! Because he wanted to meet you in his room tomorrow night" Keith answered.
"Why not now?" You asked.
"I don't know, ask Shiro I'm just the messenger" Keith answered, walking away.
"Keith wait!" You called out, almost falling out of your bed in your rush to get to Keith. Keith turned around and waited for you to catch up.
"What did Shiro's face look like when he asked you to tell me this?" You asked.
"Like I said, ask the messenger, not the messenger" Keith smiled, walking away without another word.
"You know something I don't" You sighed, glaring at Keith's turned back.

The next day was agonizing. Not only were you thinking about what Keith said to you last night, but you had to go through Lance, who was still mad at you, and the horrific scenes of Allura and Shiro being together! It drove you nuts! In fact, you had smashed your head against the wall the second you remembered that Shiro and Allura liked each other when you woke up that morning.
"I. Hate. Life," You repeated as you banged your head against the wall.
"Knock knock," Lance said, knocking on your closed door.
"The door's closed for a reason" You moaned.
"Ouch, someone isn't happy," Lance remarked.
"Ugh!" You groaned, stomping to the door. "Yah think!!" You scowled.
"Ouch," Lance replied.
"What is it with you and the the word 'Ouch?'" You demanded.
"Your forehead is read," Lance explained.
"Oh," You frowned.
"Listen, I just want to say sorry about yesterday. I was really mad at you for leaving me and I blamed you and created a scene. So, sorry" Lance apologized.
"Oh!" You repeated. "I forgive you, Lance" You smiled, pulling him into a hug; You know that Lance would need a hug. After all, he loves getting hugs like his mate Hunk.
"(Y/n)?" Shiro asked, walking over to you.
"Hi Shiro," You answered, "What are you doing here?"
"I asked if you could meet me in private tonight" Shiro answered.
"Wait what?!" You exclaimed. You turned around to glance at your clock and realized how late it was.
"Oh, I am so sorry Shiro!" You gasped.
"No, it's okay. Is it all right if we meet now?" Shiro asked, motioning over to you and Lance.
"Oh of course!" You smiled, punching Lance on the shoulder.
"OW!" Lance whined.
...
"You wanted to talk?" You asked, watching as Shiro closed the door.
"I'm in love with you*," Shiro said. You gapped at his sudden and straightforward response. You weren't surprised, you were shocked beyond belief.
"B-b-b" You stammered.
"Don't believe me?" Shiro smiled. You started to feel weak-kneed at his smile and tried to speak out your sentence, but Shiro quickly leaned in and crashed his lips into yours.
"Convinced now?" Shiro asked, cupping your cheek with his hand.
"No! What's going on with you and Allura?!" You demanded, forgetting the fragileness of the situation.
"Allura and I?!" Shiro asked.
"Yeah! You talked together in a private room, you sat together at dinner together, away from the rest of us, and you two haven't left each other's side all day!" You fumed.
"(Y/n), Allura and I are just friends!" Shiro protested. "Allura and I talked to one another last night because Allura figured out that I liked you," Shiro explained.
"Oh yeah? Then whatever happened to you and Allura touching each other?" You asked. "Allura was just trying to help me get over my stress of trying to tell you that I liked you!" Shiro complained.
"Look, if you're that suspicious about me and Allura being together then you don't have to stay here any longer" Shiro sighed in defeat. You cringed at your outpour of anger and sighed.
"Shiro, I'm really sorry," You apologized. "I'll leave, maybe we should both cool down," You said before exiting the room.
