*this is the exact spoby scene from 7.11, but I go more into depth after the actual scene ends. So for the most part all credit to freeform/pll/Marlene!*

Spencer's POV:

I examined the board game laying in the middle of the barn, and picked up the phone laying in the centre.

I knew better, but I had to do this. I needed to play this game.

The first instruction on the phone was to place it on the 'home' space, in the middle, so I do so. Two options pop up: 'truth' and 'dare'.

I begin, and hover my finger over the 'truth' button. I take a deep breath, but quickly click on 'dare'.

"Visit a sick friend. Get a reward" -A.D

Next to the phrase, was a picture of him. Toby Cavanaugh.

I sighed, looking down at the picture of him, and grabbed my coat. I've been putting off seeing him, because I can't imagine what he's going though.

Yvonne has been in a medically induced coma for about a week now, but Toby got some scratches on his head and a cast on his arm.

We haven't seen each other since our kiss. It's been well over a week, but he's been distraught over Yvonne, and I couldn't face him.

Face us.

I get in my car, and drive to the hospital.

Once I get there, I walk in, and spot him sitting in the waiting area. He's silent, just looking down. He looks hurt, he looks different.

It's not the Toby I loved seeing, it's the Toby I hated seeing.

I stand there, looking from a distance for a while, but begin to approach him slowly.

As I get closer, he looks up and he looks a little happy to see who it is.

"Hi." I speak up. My heart breaks a little when his beautiful blue eyes meet mine.

His eyes were bloodshot, from all the crying.

"Hey." He replies, slowly standing. It was silent for a moment, both of us unsure what to say. I sigh, and before anything else is said, he hugs me.

He wraps his protective arms around me, and holds me close. We both needed this hug. It was comforting, for the two of us.

After hugging for minute, we both slowly pull away. "I'm so sorry." I say immediately. "I meant to call you." He replies instantly.

"No, you didn't have to call me." I say, shaking my head quickly. Toby takes a seat, and I sit next to him.

"I, uh, talked to Marco. He told me what happened." he says, pointing to my chest, where I was shot. "Are you, are you alright?" He asks.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay." I respond, and he nods, then I nod as well. It was silent for another moment, when he speaks up.

"Maybe this is finally over." He says, and my heartbeat quickens. "Yeah, maybe." I reply, unsure what else to say. He definitely doesn't need to know A.D has even more planned.

Again, silence.

"Toby," I speak up, and he looks at me. "How is Yvonne?" I ask him. He shakes his head, fighting back tears. "Not good." He tells me.

I place my hand on his back, soothingly rubbing it. "Is there anything you need?" I offer, but he shakes his head, finding it harder to hold back tears.
