Spencer's POV:
It's a beautiful summer's night, so Hanna decided to have all of our friend group over for a sleepover. The problem is, everyone in our group is dating one another, besides Toby and I.
Toby and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember, and I didn't want to ruin that by dating.
He agrees.
Of course we both know there are some feelings between us, but we try our best to hide it.
All of our friends have been doing everything to try and get us to get together, hug, or even kiss. They've tried mistletoes (even though it isn't Christmas), making us 'accidentally' run into one another, and even dragged us to parties just for spin the bottle.
Anyway, we're all sat outside on the grass, it's now pitch black so the warmth from the sun isn't there any more.
Toby notices me shivering, removes his coat and places it on my shoulder. He then moves in closer so our legs are touching, and gives me a soft smile.
"Thank you." I whisper, trying to hide the blush on my face.
Hanna notices this action, smirking and nudging Aria.
"I have an idea!" Hanna announces, and everyone snaps out of their own little conversations.
"Let's play dare." She says with a grin. "Han, did you just make this up?" I ask her, raising an eyebrow slightly.
"Of course not!" She exclaims in a very untrustworthy tone. "Anyway, the rules are simple. You get two dares, and you must choose to do one of them. No chickening out." She says, and we all nod.
"I'll start." Aria speaks up. "Hanna," she chooses, and Hanna looks at her. "You have to.." she says, wondering.
"Kiss someone besides Caleb on the cheek, or kiss one of us girls on the cheek." Aria says, and Hanna thinks.
"Hm, I'll kiss Ezra." She smiles, standing up and kissing his cheek lightly and sitting back in her previous spot in the circle which is next to Caleb and Emily.
"Okay, my turn to ask." She says with a grin as she looks at me.
I know that look.
"Spencer." She sing songs and I roll my eyes. "You have to eat a spoonful of mustard or kiss Toby. On the lips, a real kiss, no loopholes permitted." She says smirking, proud of the odds she gave herself and everyone else.
They all share smiles, because they all have been waiting for Toby and I to become a 'thing' since we became best friends. Apparently the attraction is very noticeable.
I sigh, and glance at everyone smiling. I roll my eyes, turning towards Toby and bite my lip shyly.
"How could they do that? They know how much you hate mustard." He says with a small smirk, making me blush.
"They're out to get us, I swear." I giggle, and he pushes a piece of hair behind my ear.
I glance at Hanna, who immediately turns her head to look at Caleb, and everyone pretends to have their own little conversations while Toby and I prep.
"So, I guess we have to kiss now. I think they finally trapped us." I giggle, moving in closer to him. "Yeah, they finally trapped us." He says with a small smile.
"Close your eyes.." I whisper, so quiet that only Toby could possibly hear me. He nods, closing his eyes and moving in closer.
I close my eyes, and then connect our lips.
We kiss for longer than Hanna had asked.
How do I know this?
Well she's giggling extremely loud which causes Toby and I to snap back into reality. The reality being we're kissing in front of our friends in a front yard while it's pitch black out.
I shyly bite my lip, looking into Toby's eyes. He smiles, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
The rest of the night we don't talk. We sit comfortably in each other's silence, my head against his shoulder.
Everyone else sits admiring us, while we sit there blushing still.
"It's getting late, want to head in and watch a movie?" Emily suggests, and Hanna nods. "We can use the living room, my mom is out on a date anyway." She shrugs, so we all stand up, wiping the grass off of us.
We all make our way inside, and when we get to the kitchen, I let everyone go and stop Toby.
"Wait," I say, putting my hand on Toby's forearm, and he turns around. "Here's your coat. Thanks, by the way." I say shyly, giving a small smile.
"No problem. You know I'd do anything to make sure you're happy." He says, laying his coat on the counter.
"So, do you want to sit with me while we watch a movie?" He asks shyly, blush creeping onto his cheeks. "Yeah, I'd love that. But I'm pretty sure they already have a spot for us that forces us to be together anyway." I say with a small smirk, and he nods.
"Definitely." He smiles, taking my hand in his. We walk out to Hanna's living room and spot that they left the one person couch for us. Of course.
I lead Toby across the living room, and he sits down, allowing me to sit on his lap. I lay with my back against the arm, and I curl up with my head against Toby's chest.
I don't think it gets better than this.

As the movie nears the end, I feel my eyes growing heavy, and I'm struggling to stay awake. I shift a little, and Toby looks down at me with a smile.
"Sorry, I'm trying to stay awake." I whisper, letting out a little giggle. "It's fine, make yourself comfortable." He says, wrapping an arm around me to pull me in closer.
Before I knew it, I ended up falling asleep with my head against Toby's chest and his arm wrapped around me.
I couldn't help it, I was just so comfortable.
I felt at home.

"Spence.." Toby whispers, shaking me lightly and I groan. I put my face into his chest, ignoring his attempts to wake me.
"Come on, we're sleeping up in Hanna's guest room." He says quietly, stroking my hair. "Where is everyone else?" I mumble, closing my eyes.
"They're all sleeping here. Come on, you must not be comfortable sleeping like this." He tells me, and I just continue to keep my eyes closed.
"Okay, fine." He whispers, and stands up, holding me bridal style. I place my head against his chest, holding onto him tightly as he carries me upstairs and into Hanna's guest bedroom.
Toby unmakes the bed, and lays me down, and I immediately close my eyes, drifting off to sleep.

The following morning I wake up before Toby, and I'm still wearing the clothes I had on last night while he's just wearing his jogging pants.
"Toby." I whisper, placing my hand on his arm. "Wake up. It's 9:30." I say, shaking him lightly. He groans, turning to face me.
He opens his eyes, and as soon as he sees me his smile widens.
"Hi." He mumbles, smiling. "Hey, you." I grin, putting my hands through his soft hair. "Did you sleep well?" I ask, putting my hand on his cheek.
He nods, placing his hand over mine. "And did you?" He asks, removing my hand from his face and kissing it gently.
I blush, and nod my head in response.
"Well that's good. Want to go see if everyone else is awake?" He asks, and I bite my lip.
"How about we just lay here instead? Soon enough they'll all invade our privacy and annoy us to death." I giggle.
"Don't forget tease us." He adds in, making me giggle even more.
