Elena's POV
I opened my eyes and I sighed. Gosh... I missed sleeping in a normal bed so much. Jake was still asleep, because he was laying behind me and hugging me. I missed that feeling so much...
I'm not even surprised that he's still asleep. I finished work at 1 am and Jake wasn't even halfway working on the DIC stuff back then. I don't even want to know what time he went sleep. I turned to him and kissed him slowly.
Elena: Good morning, sleepyhead - I smirked.
Jake: Good morning, Elena - He smiled at me and started rubbing his face - What time is it?
Elena: What time did you go to sleep? - I sat down and took my phone to check the time - It's 9.
Jake: Well... - He smirked.
Elena: Jake - I crossed my arms on my chest and looked at him.
Jake: I finished my work at 5 am, but I'm fine - He grabbed me and I landed on his chest - Perfect - He smirked.
Elena: Couldn't you split this job into two days? You didn't have to do everything at once - I was still firm.
Jake: Nope - He tucked my hair behind my ear - You look beautiful today, Elena.
Elena: Jake, for God's sake! - I laughed.
Jake: What? - He laughed - I'm just telling the truth - Then, smile faded from his face - Telling about the truth... - He sat down and grabbed my hands - I have to tell you something, Elena.
Elena: What? - I narrowed my eyes at him - Something happened?
Jake: No... I mean, yes - He grabbed his forehead - I mean, this is what I wanted to tell you at the hospital. Remember?
Elena: When?
Jake: George interrupted me - He sighed.
Elena: Oh, yes - I laughed - You wanted to tell me something about your files from Anthony. Right?
Jake: Yes...
When I looked into his eyes I saw... Fear. Incredibly big fear. I immediately turned pale and smile faded from my face too.
Elena: Jake? What's going on? - I asked with my shivering voice.
Jake: It's something I should have told you long time ago, Elena. But... I couldn't. I was so scared.
Elena: Scared? Of what?
Jake: Elena... - He sighed and grabbed my hands - If I tell you this, you won't want to know me, but... I have to tell you this. I can't hide it from you anymore. Like I told you at the hospital, I want you to find out the whole truth from me. Not from files or... - He mumbled angrily - Gomez.
Elena: Anthony? What does Anthony have to do with this? - I narrowed my eyes at him - Jake, what the fuck is going on?
Jake: Elena... - He got closer to me and took a deep breath - I...
Then we heard knocking.
Jake: You've got to be kidding me - He mumbled angrily.
Elena: I'm sure it's Luka - I sighed - We'll talk about it later, okay? - I touched his cheek and smiled.
Jake: I really don't like it, Elena - He sighed, then we heard knocking again - Oh, come in - He said annoyed.
I turned back and I was right. It was Luka.
