Jason- I'm speeding down the street and tears are blurring my vision. How could Jason do this to me? I loved him and I thought he loved me. Guess I was wrong. Of course Jason cheating on me was awful but what was even worse was the fact that it was with Red Coat. The girls and I have been trying to figure out who Red Coat is. It takes me awhile to notice but I'm not even driving in the direction of my house. I'm just driving. My phone starts to ring and I look down to see Hanna's contact picture. I feel even more tears build up in my eyes. I cant answer her call right now. First of all; I'm driving, Second of all; I'm crying my eyes out. I reach down and press decline. I'm sure the girls are worried because when I looked at my phone it was 11:00.
Once again my phone rings again and it's Spencer. I decide to pick it up because if I don't, they will all call me over and over.
"Hey," I croak out. "(Y/N)? What happened? Hanna tried to call you, are you okay?" Spencer's words are fast and quick. "I uh, I'm fine. I'm heading back. Uhm, can I just sleep over at your house?" My words are slow and choppy. "Yeah, yeah of course," Spencer says. "(Y/N) are you okay?" Spencer adds. My eyes squeeze shut and a river of tears rush down my cheeks. "Yeah, I'm fine," I say quickly and hang up.
Jason's POV
Once I get there I see a girl in a red coat sitting on the park bench. This must be Red Coat. I get out of my car and approach the bench slowly. "I'm here," I say coldly. Hopefully once I find out who Red Coat is, I can find out who A is and finally put an end to everything. The person doesn't move or turn around, they just sit there with their back facing me. "Hello," I state. The mystery person slowly turns around. "Cece," I gasp. "Hi Jason," she smirks. My eyes are wide and they search the park for signs of anyone else. "You're Red Coat?" I ask. "You could say that," she says. I shake my head and back away. "Jason, sit," she says slowly. I sigh and sit down. Even though I have no interest in anything to do with Cece Drake but I know if I find out more, it will lead us to A. "Why am I here?" I ask. "I wanted to see you," she says in an innocent tone.
I see her sitting closer and she keeps checking her phone. I see her look behind me and all of a sudden she kisses me. I push her off. "Jason?" I hear a familiar voice ask. "(Y/N)," I gasp. She starts to walk away and I get up and go after her. I call her name multiple times but she ignores me. "(Y/N), listen-" I grab her arm. "No! Get the hell away from me!" she spits. I'm taken aback but I understand why she did it. I let her go so she can cool down. I'm probably the last person she wants to talk to.
I run my hands through my hair in frustration and kick the dirt. I turn around and see Cece is gone. How did (Y/N) know I was gonna be here. That's when it hits me.
A sent (Y/N) a text to meet here and then she would see Cece and I. This was all a setup. I run to my car and try and catch up with (Y/N) , but her car is long gone.
(Y/N)'s POV
I get to Spencer's house and I walk slowly to her house. I'm assuming all of the girls are at Spencer's house because why wouldn't they be? I knock on the door and see Aria rush to it. "(Y/N), Oh my God, are you okay?" Aria asks while enveloping me in a hug. I nod. I feel like I'm to shocked to even talk. Aria pulls away and examines my face, noticing my bloodshot eyes. "What happened?" she asks while walking me up to Spencer's room. "(Y/N)," all the girls exclaim. "Hey," I put on a fake smile. "(Y/N), what happened?" Emily asks sternly. "When I got there, I saw Jason kissing Red Coat," I say so it's just above a whisper. There eyes widen and Aria's hand covers her mouth. "You're serious?" Hanna asks. "No, Hanna I'm lying," I say sarcastically. She nods and looks down. All of a sudden I break down in tears. "Why would he do this?" I cry. Hanna comes up and hugs me and I sob into her shoulder. "I'm so sorry," Hanna whispers.
After crying all the tears I possibly could Spencer makes a bed for me on her couch and Aria sleeps on the other end. "Here you go," Spencer says while handing me tea. "Thank you," I whisper. All the girls are sitting in the living room and watching TV and as I watch them I realize how lucky I am. "Thank you guys. I don't know where I would be without you. Really," They all smile. "Awwwww," Hanna jokes. I laugh and we all eventually fall asleep.
Mike- "Oh my god," I say breathlessly to myself. I ran out of Aria's house right past Aria. I'm running down the street and knowing my luck it's a torrential down pour outside. I'm crying, I think. Maybe I'm mistaking the rain for tears. I'm wishing I mistook what I saw at Aria's house for something else. I can feel the air getting more cold and rigid and my whole body is soaked. My hair, my clothes and my shoes. I trip and stumble but stay on my feet. I eventually just give up. I sit down on a nearby bench and look at me feet. I look at the rain coming down on the pavement and the way the streets look at night.
"(Y/N)!" I hear a familiar voice call. Mike. I see him run out of his car and come up to me. "Get away from me!" I yell. "No," he states. I get on my feet and look up at him. "Just get in the car and I'll drive you home," I shake my head. "No. You get in your car because I'm walking home. I don't want to be anywhere near you," I spit. He just stares at me. "Please, at least let me drive you home," he pleads. I look around. What do I even have to lose?
"Fine,"
He tries and takes my arm but I pull it away. When I get in the car, it's silent. (Y/N)," he starts. "Just drive," I say while turning my head towards the window. He sighs and drives me to my house.
"Can I please explain?" he pleads. "No. Nothing to explain. You kissed Mona. You kissed A," I say while opening the door. "(Y/N), I love you," Mike says. "Yeah well, you obviously don't considering you kissed the girl who tortured me for two years. Not to mention tried to kill me and your sister multiple times," I slam the door shut and run upstairs. My parents are already asleep so I go to my room, collapse on my bed and cry. Maybe if Mike cheated on me with some random girl, I might have let him explain and it wouldn't hurt as much but he cheated on me with Mona. The girl who stalked and tortured me. I cry into my pillow; even scream into it.
...
It's been a day and I haven't left my room. The girls are on their way over and I'm not looking forward to it..at all. "The girl are here," my mom says while looking in my room. I nod and wait for them to come upstairs. I look like shit right now. No makeup, messy bun and leggings and a t-shirt.
"Hey," Emily says. She's the first one in and then they all follow after her. I smile and they sit on my bed. "How are you?" Hanna asks. "Fine," I lie. I'm not doing fine at all. I'm terrible. "If it makes you feel any better, I flipped the fuck out on Mike when he got home. I mean, I've never seen him that scared," Aria says. I laugh. "Yeah you should have seen it. I'm pretty sure he peed," Spencer says. I laugh even more. We all fall into a silence. "Why Mona?" I speak up. All the girls look at me. "No idea," Emily answers. "Guys, what if it was a set up?" Spencer says. "What?" I ask confused. "What if A had Mona go to Aria's house when he or she knew we were going to be there? A is trying to break us. They know that Mike is the most important to you and A wants us all broken because it will be easier to tear us down," It makes sense. "A's picking us off one by one," I say. "What about Mike?" I ask. "You do whatever you want (Y/N)," Emily says. "A or not, he still cheated," Aria says. I nod.
Caleb- I just sit there in my car staring at the picture. To my surprise, I'm more shocked by the fact Caleb cheated on me than the fact that Ali's alive. While I'm looking at the picture a tear falls and lands on it. I'm crying and then I start sobbing. I hit my steering wheel over and over before collapsing on it. "Why?" I sob. I see a light turn on in Caleb's house so I quickly drive off.
I don't bother texting the girls, I just drive to Hanna's house where I know they're all sleeping over. When I knock on the door Hanna's smile fades to a frown. "(Y/N), what happened?" she questions. I walk in and see the rest of the girls standing in the kitchen. "(Y/N)," Spencer says. I reach into my jacket pocket and my hand shakes as I hand Spencer the picture. All the girls crowd around her. "Is that-" Emily asks. "Ali," I say matter of factly. "I found it on Caleb's door. It was signed by A," I scoff. "She's alive?" Aria gasps. "According to that picture. You can tell it's recent because of Caleb's haircut," I explain. They nod and continue to examine the picture. "Just to make sure, I have a friend at Hollis who can make sure it's legit," Spencer says. "No, they might recognize Ali," I say. "True," Another tear rolls down my cheeks and Hanna notices it. Hanna snatches the picture out of Spencer's hand and walks over to a drawer. "Hanna what are you doing?" Aria asks concerned. Hanna pulls out a lighter and sets fire to the picture. "Hanna!" Emily yells. Hanna throws the picture in the sink and lets it burn. "What the hell?" Spencer yells. "That's the only evidence we have to prove Ali's alive!" Aria yells. "It doesn't matter. (Y/N) doesn't need to be reminded of it or see it," she looks to me and smiles and I return it. "Thanks Han," I say.
"Why would Caleb do this?" I hear Emily whisper while I grab something from the fridge. "No idea. He's a dead man," Hanna says. "Guys, I can still hear you," I laugh. "Sorry," Emily apologizes. "I thought I could trust him. How could he keep this from me?" I say while walking over to them. They just shrug and look at me apologetically. "Lets just get some sleep and we'll figure everything out tomorrow morning," I say. They all agree and we go up to Hanna's room.
