Jason- You climb into your car and relish in what happened last night. You begin driving home. At the light you pull your hair up and bury your face into your hands.
Although what you two did last night was wrong, you can't bring yourself to feel bad or guilty. You're not even sure if you regret it. The light turns green and eventually you arrive at home.
You stumble in with your shoes in your hand and see Jason standing in your kitchen. "Mom!" you exclaim because you know she most likely let him in.
"He wouldn't go." she states while walking upstairs. You roll your eyes and walk over to your fridge to get a cup of water.
"Y/N-" he starts but is cut off by the loud noise of your cup hitting the table makes. "-I'm so sorry." he says.
"That's it? 'I'm sorry.'" you mock.
"I don't know what you want me to do." he says. This sentence. This one single sentence sends you into a rage.
"To give a damn!" you snap. "To actually care about getting better or at least care about me! I'm sick and tired of picking you up in the middle of the night! I'm tired of helping you upstairs and laying you on your side incase you choke on your own fucking vomit! I'm your girlfriend okay? Not your babysitter."
Jason has a tear rolling down his cheek and you're not far behind. "Okay? I'm tired." you croak. For awhile it's just silence.
"Where were you last night?" he asks.
"Are you actually gonna bitch at me for not picking you up?" you sigh while crossing your arms.
"No, no I came by here after I sobered up and you weren't here." he says.
"I was at Aria's." you answer shyly.
"Aria slept at Hanna's she told me so if Aria-" he cuts himself off by figuring out why you were there.
"You slept with Mike?!" he exclaims. You don't even say anything you just look at him.
"I think I got my answer." he states. "I can't believe this-"
"Oh don't act like you're hurt! How many times do you call me in the middle of the night to pick you up? Huh? How many? I went over there looking for Aria and she wasn't there. I was hysterical and Mike helped me!" you shout.
"Okay sure he helped you but that doesn't mean you have to fuck him!" You're taken aback by his words and you just shake your head. "Let's go. We're going to Mike's." he says while grabbing your hand and pulling you to his car.
"No!" you state while squirming out of his grasp.
"Y/N." he says firmly. You roll your eyes and mutter 'fine'.

You don't say anything to Jason the whole car ride until you arrive at Mike's house. "Jason, please don't do this. I won't go in." you say firmly.
"Y/N, come on."
"No. I'm not gonna go in there just to watch you attempt to fight Mike."
"I won't fight him." he reassures you. You two walk up to the door and knock on it and see Mike answer. Right when he sees Jason he tenses up.
"Hey guys." he says. You smile nervously as he invites you two in.
"So I heard you fucked my girlfriend." Jason states. This wasn't him. This wasn't Jason. Even when he had his problems with alcohol before, he was never like this. Sometime in the last couple of months, something happened.
"Listen man-" Mike starts.
"No! My girlfriend thought it would be nice to come over here and screw you to get back at me!" Jason shouts. Mike seems offended for you by his choice of words and puts his hand up to calm him down.
"Hey!" he yells. "She came over here hysterical and I comforted her! Things just got carried away alright?"
"You fucked her!" Jason yells, enraged.
"You hurt her!" Mike fires back. You stand there, on the verge of tears. Suddenly, Jason's tone returns to normal.
"Do you know Y/N?" he asks.
"Know what?" you croak.
"Why don't you tell her Mike?" Jason asks, his voice sounding fake.
"Don't do this." Mike seethes.
"He's in love you!" Jason exclaims. "He's always been in love with you." Jason shakes his head and pinches the bridge of his nose while laughing. You look over at Mike in shock. You only though Mike had a crush on you, not that he was in love with you.
"Is that true?" you ask. Mike nods and looks down at the floor.
"Choose." Jason demands while keeping his gaze fixed on the floor.
"Excuse me?"
"I said choose." Mike rolls his eyes and walks over to you.
"You don't have to do this." he whispers.
"Mike." you say confidently. Mike and Jason both look astonished. "I choose Mike. And no Mike, this isn't out of spite or anger towards Jason. I want to be with you."
Jason begins breathing heavily and eventually storms out, slamming the door behind him. And that was that. Jason and you had broken up and you were with someone who would appreciate you.
Mike- You both pull away from the kiss and you look at Ezra with not anger or shock. You knew that eventually, this would happen.
"I-I'm sorry." he apologizes. You look at him confused. "You're not in the right mind Y/N. You're hysterical." he explains. You turn back towards your steering wheel and just sit there.
"Look, Y/N, I love you." he admits. "But so does Mike and I can't take you away from him."
"Mike doesn't love me! He kissed Mona of all people." you exclaim. He sighs and looks at you.
"I'm not saying what he did was okay. I'm not but Mike truly does love you Y/N. I've seen the way he looks at you. That boy is in love with you."
"But so are you." you whisper.
"Yeah but right now you're with Mike and as much as I resent him, I can't take you away from him. I wouldn't do that to anyone because you are something special. Maybe later if you're not with Mike, we can be together but right now what you need to do is work this out. Alright?" he says.
You sigh sadly and another tear rolls down your cheek. "Okay." you state. He leans towards you and kisses your cheeks. The feeling of his lips on your skin makes your heart beat ten times faster.
"I love you." he whispers before leaving and getting in his car. The whole ride home was full of you sobbing and getting choked on your own breaths.

When you get home you immediately grab the bottle of vodka you have stashed in your closet. You get an empty, plastic water bottle and fill it up with the liquor and begin drinking.
From Mike: can I come over?
To Mike: no
From Mike: too late
You roll your eyes and take another swig of vodka before Mike enters you room. His eyes are bloodshot and his hands are trembling. You realize he's known you too long when he walks towards you and takes the water bottle and smells it. "Y/N." he sighs while putting it on your dresser.
"Can you leave?" you ask. He shakes his head while leaning against your dresser.
"We need to talk." he states.
"There's nothing to talk about. You kissed Mona--or should I say A?" you ask sarcastically.
"I made a mistake Y/N and I'm sorry for it. I'll be sorry for the rest of my life." he whines.
"I kissed Ezra." you state. Mike's eyes widen and his lips part.
"What?" he questions.
"I guess we both have something to be sorry for."
After this incident, you and Mike never really returned to normal. You tried to get things going again but you're definitely not one to force things. You two will forever be each other's first loves but now you're with Ezra and you're happy. Although, there are still days when you think about Mike and how he's doing and what would have happened if he never kissed Mona and you never kissed Ezra...
Caleb- "Well, I love you." he whispers.
"What?" you ask in disbelief.
"I said I love you." he repeats. Although you feel terrible for having this moment with Jason when you're dating Caleb, you can't help but to smile at what Jason just said.
"You do?" you ask, just to clarify what you're hearing is true.
"I thought you knew." he smiles softly. But then you think back to Caleb and Jason notices.
"What's wrong?" he asks.
"What about Caleb?" you ask. Jason's smile quickly turns into a frown. "I don't love him but I feel bad for just ditching him.." you mutter. Jason's hand is soon on your cheek and you look up at him.
"Talk to him tomorrow morning." Jason states. "Don't worry about it right now. Get some rest." he tells you.
"Okay," you start while standing up as he does the same. You both just stand there for awhile and eventually he leads in and kisses you. It feels right. Everyone lately has been so out of place and weird but this isn't. This is right.
"Goodnight." he whispers against your lips.
"Night." you say back to him.

The next morning arrives and you leave Ali's house around 10:30.
From Jason: you'll be fine
You smile at the small but meaningful gesture and drive to Caleb's house. You're nervous without a doubt but you know you have to do this. Caleb at least deserves an explanation.
You knock on his door and when he answers he immediately greets you with a kiss.
"Hey," you mumble. "Uhm, can we talk?" you ask. He nods and leads you to the couch. You feel so bad for doing this.
"What's up?" he asks. You don't have anything to stall with so you just come right out and say it.
"I think we need to break up." you state while avoiding eye contact with him.
"Really? Hm." he says. You look at him confused since he is being so calm. "Why?"
"Because I-I don't feel anything." you mumble.
"And Jason." he adds. You immediately turn to him. Before you can get any words in, he talks again. "I've seen the way he looks at you. And I've seen the way you look at him."
"How come you never said anything?" you whine slightly.
"I wanted you to be he one to tell me." he shrugs.
"Caleb I am so sorry. This has nothing to do with you. I just have to get my feelings sorted out." you explain.
"No worries. I get it, you two are in love." he says. "He's just a really lucky guy." you smile sadly.
"Caleb you deserve someone who can love you and only you and right now that's just not me. But you deserve someone really special." you explain. He nods and kisses you one last time on your cheek while a tear rolls down it.
"See ya Y/N." he smiles while to walk out.
"Bye Caleb." you smile.
Jason and you ended up together and Caleb found someone and everything was alright.
