Kira gives the sofa one last look, before she takes one leap away, calling her ex-partners name. She's not willing to let him go that easily.

"Kirishima! Wait!" She calls after him, even though he's already gone, her throat thick with unwanted tears, her skin itching for his touch once more before it's gone forever.

"Let him go."

His voice stops her in her tracks, the hair on the back of her neck standing on end.

"He's not gonna wanna talk about it anymore."

Akira spins round to the voice, shielded in the darkness of the room. But, she's knows that voice anywhere - the gruff tone, the uncaring attitude laced in his throat.

"How long have you been standing there for?" She asks, her tone low and dangerous.

"Long enough," he replies swiftly, like it's not at all intruding.

"You could have been... somewhere else!" She blurts dumbly. "Anywhere else!"

"Shitty hair practically shoved me into the dumb party with all the other losers," he explains. "I'm not getting included with them."

"So?" She says to his shadow, his figure leant up against the wall with his foot propped up against it.

"So, I came inside and then I heard you two."

"God, do I need to spell it out for you, Bakugou?!" She yells, the embarrassment, hurt and anger all bubbling up inside. "Why were you listening? Why didn't you just go up to your room like you always do?"

"Believe me," he says harshly, kicking himself off the wall and striding towards her with frightening confidence. "The last thing I wanted to hear was some damn lovers spat, but..."

"But, what?" She urges, her tone mocking his own. "You had no reason to invade our privacy like that."

"I heard you spill the truth to him, about your father in some stupid, desperate way," he says, his features finally coming into view as the evening sun filters through the wide windows.

"And?" She pushes. "You already know that and then some, so why are you still here?"

Bakugou opens his mouth to reply, when his gaze flickers to the kitchen area behind her. "Needed a drink," he tells her plainly.

Kira watches him, dumbfounded, as he storms around her without even giving her a sideways glance. He helps himself to a drink in the dark, the cupboard clanging loudly and the water spilling out the sink, sounding like a waterfall in a deep, lonely jungle.

He takes a long chug, before turning around and leaning against the side, eyeing Kira, as if daring her to approach him. The last thing she needed after a hard breakup, was him - judging her, insulting her.

"No, what are you not telling me?" She shakes her head, marching around the kitchen island to her classmate. "You could have easily helped yourself to a damn drink while me and Kirishima..." She trails off. "I know you don't care about subtlety."

He scoffs at that, going to take another sip, when Kira, frustrated at everything at this point, snatches the glass from his hands, ignoring his appalled yells and nearly throws it into the sink, the leftover water splashing all over the counter and on the fringes of her shirt. She's just surprised it didn't break.

"What the hell are you doing, you idiot!?"

"Thoughts?" She quips, her eyebrows shooting up. "Seeing as you decided to watch the whole thing unfold, you clearly have some opinions. So?"
