Chapter 54 - The Initial Phase (Part Four)

Toga decided she was going to have fun. As she watched the three boys from UA argue with someone from another school, she marvelled at their particular Quirk. Like her own, it required the human body. This student could mold people into balls of flesh. It was fascinating.

She stared down as first the red-headed boy was scooped into a ball of flesh and then Bakugou. It was all down to the golden haired boy to save them. In the end, he did.

Toga transformed herself into Akira Kiriya, gulping down some of her blood that she had been saving. Toga looked down at herself: the hair was the right length, the costume was her new adaptation. She was just as perfect as the real Akira Kiriya. Toga was over the moon to have a friend like Akira.

Toga had already planned a way to sneak up to the boys - she could pretend to be one of the moulded flesh pieces. She just had to get down there in time. After the golden-haired boy defeated the other student, the flesh pieces were able to change back to their original shape.

So, Toga leaped down off the buildings and made her way into the crowd of other students. She pretended to be one of them, shocked that she had been 'put back together'. Toga made her way to the three boys and she could hear them fighting. One by one, the newly moulded students were being defeated by this UA trio. Bakugou was merciless. She could see the explosions from above the heads of the other students. Most have spotted them too and turned tail and ran. They probably figured there'd be someone easier to defeat and steal their points from them. Cowards.

"Die!!"

Bakugou's voice. Although she ignored him back at the bar, there's no denying that tone. All he did during his capture was threaten the League. Not once did he cower in the face of danger.

"Take it easy, man! We're not actually trying to kill them, y'know!"

Toga was unaware of this voice. Based on Akira's description of them, perhaps the red-head is the one called Kirishima? Toga had no idea.

When she was Light Bringer, Akira spilled a lot of information about UA and her classmates. Toga had paid attention for the most part, but only because they were friends. She didn't really seem too bothered about knowing anyone else other than Izuku Midoriya and Akira Kiriya.

Toga shoved someone out the way and then elbowed past another, nearing towards the explosions. A student saw her and tried to throw their balls at her, but Toga used her skills to avoid the attack and flipped over the assailant, shoving them in the back. They toppled over, looked at the explosions behind her and decided to bolt while they had the chance.

A person in front of her was struck with a fierce electric blast and started to fit in front of her. Toga was shocked, but smiled as the student collapsed in front of her, sparks shooting off their unconscious body.

"Akira?" The red-head frowns at her. "What the hell are you doing over here? Why aren't you with Midoriya?"

Toga can't help the grin spreading over her face at the mention of her beloved, but shakes her head and runs with it. "There was an attack," she decides to say. "Someone from Shiketsu split all of us up with their Quirk."

"So?" Bakugou adds, narrowing his eyes at her suspiciously.

Bakugou knows Toga. He was there when she called Akira Kiriya her 'best friend'. How much does he know about her and Akira's relationship?

"So, I came to find you guys," she tells them. "I was thrown pretty far from the others and I couldn't find anyone else. Not Ochaco or Midoriya or anyone."
